Gazan University Professor Recounts War's Heartbreak, Hunger
Amid the unbearable humanitarian conditions of Gaza under the war, the voice of a Palestinian professor trembles as he narrates the destruction that has stripped him of family, home, and dignity. In a video that went viral on social media, the professor noted that he lost 26 relatives in a single strike – an incident that dramatically changed his entire life. Continuous Loses 'In one moment, I lost five of my family's houses. Twenty-six martyrs. My children's families, my brothers, my relatives—gone,' he said. The shock left him with a tumor in his leg, which turned out to be cancerous, and deprived him from having a normal life. Therefore, survival became a daily struggle. He did not have a single grain of flour in his home for two months. 'If you saw my body now, you would see my bones. We are getting closer to death every day, and every morning I wake up and say, 'Thank God,'' the professor added. Jewish Woman Condemns Israel After Zionist-Funded ‘Birth Right' Trip
In a video released by Aljazeera Documentary, a young Jewish woman Sarah revealed more details about her free trip, which was funded by Zionist institutions. Sarah said that this trip has changed a lot of her thoughts and convictions and eventually led her to reject the Israeli occupation. 'I am Jewish enough for a free trip to Israel. In my early twenties, I went to Israel and when I went out of the plan, people told me you could become a citizen within 24 hours. You are Jewish enough. You should move here,' she said. She noted that when Israel became a state, she thought that all governments gave Jewish people money to buy houses in Palestine. Surprisingly, she discovered that Israel did not buy houses from the Palestinians, Israelis actually detained and killed Palestinians and seized their homes by force. She even mentioned that Palestinians still have the keys of their homes that they cannot even walk by any more. Sarah described what happened as 'colonization' that ended up with an open-air prison as people cannot even leave the neighborhoods that were forced to live in.
