EXCLUSIVE Revealed: The first man to feel the wrath of Mark Latham's porn star ex - who had to beg a court for protection, as wild new details emerge from her past
A former boyfriend of the woman accusing politician Mark Latham of abusing her says she made baseless claims about him to police after they broke up. The man met Nathalie Matthews when they were both working in the transport and logistics industry more than a decade ago and spent about a year in a relationship. He says after Ms Matthews moved out of his Sydney apartment she returned to pick up a basket of belongings and pulled down a large mirror, which broke. The man - who is about 20 years older than Ms Matthews - told Daily Mail Australia she later made allegations against him which he vehemently denied and police did not act upon. Police subsequently sought an apprehended violence order against Ms Matthews to protect the man but it was withdrawn - he says at his request - in June 2015 at Downing Centre Local Court. Ms Matthews is seeking a restraining order against Latham following the messy break-up of what the independent NSW upper house MP has called a 'sexed-up, consensual, open arrangement'. The 37-year-old alleges Latham, 64, inflicted 'a sustained pattern' of psychological, financial and emotional abuse against her for almost three years. She further alleges Latham threw a dinner plate at her and committed degrading sexual acts 'including defecating on me before sex and refusing to let me wash'. Daily Mail Australia can reveal Ms Matthews has a criminal history which includes offences of receiving stolen goods and shoplifting. Ms Matthews was charged under her maiden name Darrough with stealing goods worth less than $2,000 from the Camilla fashion boutique at Westfield Miranda in Sydney's south in 2017. She pleaded guilty in Sutherland Local Court to shoplifting and receiving and was placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond without conviction in February the next year. Magistrate Glenn Bartley made a separate order that Matthews pay $449 to the Camilla store at Miranda Westfield. Three years earlier, police had sought an apprehended violence order against Ms Matthews, again as Nathalie May Darrough, for the protection of a former partner. That man, whose relationship with Ms Matthews predated her marriage, laughed long and hard when Daily Mail Australia first mentioned her name to him on Tuesday. 'There's so many similarities,' he said. 'Don't get me wrong, I think Mark Latham's a f***ing d***head.' The man said his relationship with Ms Matthews had been normal - 'I suppose' - and that until they parted ways 'everything was fine'. Eventually, some incident the man could no longer recall occurred and Ms Matthews told him she would be moving out of his apartment. 'She went a bit funny in the head,' he said. 'She said, 'I'm moving out'. I went, 'Righto, no drama'.' The man wondered, with hindsight, if his nonchalant attitude to Ms Matthews moving out of his home had allegedly set her off. He claimed that when Ms Matthews came around to pick up a basket of clothes 'she went crazy' and broke a mirror which was hung behind a television set. Following that incident, according to the man, Ms Matthews became further annoyed. 'There was something that she was demanding, I can't remember what it was,' he said. 'And I said, 'Nah, that's not going to happen'. 'She said, 'If you don't do this, I'll go the coppers.' I went, 'Go your hardest'. 'Whatever she wanted didn't happen so a week later she went to the coppers.' The man said he was interviewed by police but the only action they took was to apply for an apprehended violence order against Ms Matthews. 'I had nothing to be concerned about,' he said. 'I answered all their questions and spoke the truth.' The man said when the AVO application reached Downing Centre Local Court in June 2015 he did not wish it to proceed. Instead, he wanted Ms Matthews to give a private undertaking she would stay away from him for a certain period of time, which he said she agreed to do. 'The sole reason I didn't go through with the AVO is I'm not an a***hole and I didn't want to ruin her entire life,' he said. Ms Matthews declined to comment on the restraining order police had sought to protect her former boyfriend or about any events after that relationship ended. Daily Mail Australia accepts Ms Matthews has never been found guilty of any domestic violence-related offence. The man had been vaguely aware Ms Matthews and Latham were in a relationship due to social media posts and read about her AVO application last week. Latham has denied all abuse accusations, claiming that he had 'scores of documents' which would vindicate him, and enjoyed a 'fantastic' sex life with Ms Matthews 'When this came out my mother rang me,' he said. 'She said, 'This looks familiar, doesn't it?'' Latham has said what he called his 'situationship' with Ms Matthews ended on May 27 when she confronted him covered in mud. Since the existence of the AVO application was revealed by The Australian on July 15, intimate text messages between Latham and Ms Matthews have been leaked. Latham has denied all abuse accusations, claiming that he had 'scores of documents' which would vindicate him, and enjoyed a 'fantastic' sex life with Ms Matthews. Daily Mail Australia revealed last Friday that Ms Matthews worked as an OnlyFans porn star for years before she started dating the former federal Labor leader. Ms Matthews posted graphic images and videos of herself under the name Bondi C** Sl** from 2019 to 2023. OnlyFans followers typically pay creators for exclusive, usually adult and often explicit, content. Ms Matthews' posts - where she enhanced her appearance with AI face-tuning technology - included raw video footage of herself engaged in sexual intercourse with another person, as well as hundreds of explicit images. Her account has since been taken down from OnlyFans, but the material she posted had spread to online fan sites and forums. The dates of the postings also coincided with her unsuccessful bid to be elected a Liberal councillor in south Sydney's Sutherland Shire in 2021. Although Ms Matthews is thought to have been living in the Cronulla area at the time, it is understood she believed the OnlyFans venture would bring in more revenue by using 'Bondi' rather than 'Sutherland' in her online profile. Ms Matthews declined to comment on her OnlyFans past but her lawyer told Daily Mail Australia her client 'has been subjected to character assassination, reputational damage and trial by media'. 'Domestic violence is a serious issue in our society,' solicitor Sarah McMahon said. 'Any individual in genuine fear should have the right to seek protection without vilification.' Ms Matthews was previously married to British expat Ross Matthews. Both were members of the Liberal Party at the time. Their marriage reportedly ended in 2022, before she began dating Latham. Mr Matthews has distanced himself from his ex-wife, breaking his silence on social media to address the furore. 'Please stop messaging me,' he posted on X after the scandal erupted. 'I don't speak to Nathalie and do not care. Thank you.' Leaked WhatsApp messages reported by The Daily Telegraph showed sexually explicit exchanges between Latham and Ms Matthews. 'Very hard thinking about you,' he wrote to Ms Matthews during parliamentary sitting hours, shortly after 11am on February 20. 'Need badly to taste you,' he wrote that afternoon, alongside an emoji of a tongue. 'Made it back for first vote after dinner,' he said at 8.38pm. Latham told Daily Mail Australia the reproduction of the WhatsApp messages was 'not accurate' and has insisted the communications did not impact his work. Matthews describes herself as the managing director of Skynet Global Logistics, a company engaged in freight forwarding, a role she has held for 19 months according to LinkedIn.

Trump Epstein Lawsuit: Why Wall Street Journal Defamation Case Could Backfire In Discovery
President Donald Trump formally sued The Wall Street Journal and News Corp founder Rupert Murdoch on Friday for publishing a piece making allegations about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein—but the effort could ultimately work against Trump's interests by forcing him to turn over information about his relationship with the disgraced financier. Donald Trump, now-wife Melania Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell pose together at ... More Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, on February 12, 2000. Getty Images Trump sued The Wall Street Journal, Murdoch and the journalists who wrote the story about a 'bawdy' letter Trump allegedly sent Epstein for his 50th birthday, which reportedly included a drawing of a naked woman and Trump telling Epstein, 'Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.' The president alleges the newspaper and its employees defamed him by publishing the story, which Trump maintains is false, and by 'falsely represent[ing]' the letter 'as fact,' with Trump claiming the reporters and Murdoch reported on the letter despite knowing it didn't exist. The Journal is likely to next ask the court to dismiss the lawsuit, but if that request gets rejected and the case moves forward, it will then go to discovery, meaning both Trump and the Journal can seek evidence from the other party that could help their case. It's 'reasonable' to expect the 'Journal would then seek information from Trump about the nature of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,' Katie Fallow, deputy litigation director at the Knight First Amendment Institute, told Forbes, noting that could include any communications Trump had with Epstein or records detailing their friendship. The specific information the Journal could seek will likely depend on the claims it makes in its court filings in the case—which haven't been submitted yet—Fallow said, but noted the 'general rule' in defamation cases is that parties 'can seek discovery of anything that is relevant to a claim or defense raised in a proceeding in a lawsuit.' That means depending on the claims the Journal makes in its defense, any evidence it tries to get from Trump in discovery 'could go broader than just about this letter' and provide additional information about the president and Epstein's relationship, Ballow said. 'I would think that [the Journal's] attorneys … would say we want to, in order to determine whether anything here was false, see the context of the relationship between Trump' and Epstein, Fallow told Forbes about what evidence the newspaper could try to get during the discovery phase. 'But it would sort of really depend on the specific request.' What Has The Wall Street Journal Said? The Wall Street Journal and Murdoch have not commented at all on whether they intend to pursue broad discovery against Trump in the case, and have not yet submitted any court filings detailing their legal arguments. A spokesperson for the Journal's parent company Dow Jones said in a statement the company '[has] full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting' and 'will vigorously defend against any lawsuit.' If the lawsuit goes to the discovery phase, it will likely take years to play out and for any documents to become public. The case could also then go to trial after the discovery phase concludes, with Trump's complaint requesting a jury trial to determine whether or not he was defamed. That being said, the litigation could also be resolved more quickly, if the court decides the case should be dismissed or the Journal reaches a settlement with Trump. Big Number $10 billion. That's how much Trump is asking the Wall Street Journal to pay in damages if he wins the lawsuit. What Does Trump's Letter To Epstein Allegedly Say? According to the Journal's reporting, Trump's birthday letter to Epstein features dialogue for an imagined conversation between Trump and Epstein, saying: 'Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything. Donald: Yes, there is, but I won't tell you what it is. Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is. Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey. Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it. Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that? Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you. Donald: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.' The Journal did not publish the letter in full, and Trump has strongly denied its existence and that he drew the accompanying drawing, saying he 'never wrote a picture.' Surprising Fact Trump's defamation lawsuit comes after Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell previously sued Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre for defamation. That lawsuit led to a slew of documents regarding Epstein and others he associated with becoming public, after the Miami Herald successfully petitioned the court to have documents unsealed. Julie K. Brown, the Herald journalist who first uncovered the allegations against Epstein, noted the parallels between the two cases, writing on social media Friday, 'We sued to unseal the docs that revealed the extent of Epstein & Maxwell's sex trafficking operation. The lawsuit by Trump opens the door to learning the extent of his friendship with Trump.' Will Evidence In Trump's Defamation Case Become Public? While any evidence that gets filed in the defamation case is likely to be filed under seal, meaning it's not available for the public to view, parties including the Journal or other media organizations could ask the court to unseal the documents and make them public. Federal law favors such information being in the public interest unless parties can prove there's a compelling reason for it to remain under seal, such as protecting trade secrets, The New York Times notes,, and media outlets have sought to unseal records in cases that are particularly high-profile, citing public interest in the case. That's what happened in Maxwell's case against Giuffre, as well as in voting machine company Dominion Voting Systems' defamation lawsuit against Fox News. Numerous documents detailing alleged conversations between Fox News executives and journalists were publicly released as part of that case in 2023, after The Times and other media outlets asked the court to unseal them. Key Background The Journal's report on the alleged letter comes as Trump is increasingly coming under renewed controversy over his relationship with Epstein, who was accused of sexually assaulting more than 100 women and died in prison in 2019. Trump was known to be friends with Epstein during the 1990s and early 2000s, telling New York Magazine in 2002, 'I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy.' 'He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,' Trump said. The president then reportedly had a falling out with Epstein after a 2004 real estate dispute, and he has never been accused of any sexual misconduct in connection with Epstein. Public fascination in Epstein's case has kept up since the financier's death because of Epstein's associations with high-profile figures such as Trump and President Bill Clinton—who has also not been accused of any wrongdoing—while key Trump allies like now-FBI Director Kash Patel have pushed conspiracy theories for years alleging a government 'cover-up' of the FBI's full files on Epstein's case. Justice Department officials in the Trump administration, including Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi, long promised they would release the Epstein files, but the DOJ abruptly reversed course earlier this month. The agency released a memo saying no further files would be released, also shooting down popular conspiracy theories about the case, such as the existence of an Epstein 'client list.' That sparked a widespread backlash from Trump's base, who have called for Bondi to resign, and intensified scrutiny on Trump, who has tried to downplay the Epstein claims as a 'hoax.' Conor McGregor's fiancee Dee Devlin ‘clearly not happy' after MMA star's latest indiscretions
Dee Devlin is 'clearly not happy' with Conor McGregor despite standing by his side amid scandals, an insider claimed. In the past week, the MMA star has been snapped snogging a mystery brunette on a Florida beach before enjoying a cosy dinner with her, and US rapper Azealia Banks accused him of sending her unsolicited 'd*** pics'. And, in November last year a jury found the father – who shares four children with fiancee Dee – had sexually assaulted Nikita Hand. Ms Hand was awarded almost $450,000 in damages after the jury ruled she was attacked by the UFC fighter McGregor at the Beacon Hotel in December 2018, The Sun reports. Dee was photographed walking side-by-side with her husband-to-be on the court steps throughout the civil case. Then in January this year, McGregor faced fresh allegations after a woman accused him of raping her in a VIP bathroom at the Kaseya Center in 2023. McGregor denied the allegations. The alleged attack took place after Miami Heat's NBA Finals game against the Denver Nuggets on June 9. Florida prosecutors, however, declined to pursue criminal charges for the alleged assault with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, citing insufficient evidence in the case back in October 2023. Despite this, loyal fiancee Dee has remained supportive of the MMA star. On his 37th birthday last week, just a day after pictures emerged of McGregor kissing a woman on the beach, Dee shared a loved-up tribute to her man. Dee uploaded a post on her Instagram story from a fan account which read: 'Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile.' Putting on a united front, she also posted a series of photos of herself and the fighter beaming together. But an insider told the Mail: 'We are being told to believe that this is a happy, loving relationship behind all the headlines. 'I think a lot of things clearly point to the fact that she is not. 'From early on in the relationship, she has had a great deal to cope with. I would be very concerned with how much she can take.' A source also told The Sun: 'Dee is incredibly loyal and Conor knows that. 'She is often there with him behind the scenes, but just not in the limelight. He has also made it very clear he is bankrolling her now, which plays a huge part in the dynamic of their relationship – and makes it almost impossible for her to leave.' They added: 'She quietly accepts his behaviour and because she's been there from the beginning, she's always willing to move on. 'She'll stick with him, even if he pushes her loyalty in return.' In light of Dee's never-wavering public shows of support, relationships expert Jo Hemmings told The Sun she is 'addicted to his chaos'. Although, she did warn there will be a 'tipping point' when she's 'reluctantly forced to leave' and it may be the close pals of Conor – who she dubs a 'bloody car crash' – that play a big part in it. Jo notes that instead of writing something herself, amid the kissing scandal, Dee shared a fanpage post that read: 'Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile.' 'What's interesting is it's third person, she reposted probably one of the nicer things someone could say about Conor, instead of 'what the hell is she doing with this fool,'' she says. 'To call what she's gone through 'entertainment' suggests she enjoys there never being a dull moment with him and that she feeds off there being jeopardy every step of the way. 'She doesn't want the dull and predictable, she's addicted, almost addicted to him. But it's getting to the point where her hand is being forced and she could be coerced into leaving him.' 'The problem is these things tend to take on a force of their own,' she tells us. 'Because there is a picture, not rumour or speculation, he will be scrutinised to the point of no return. 'Dee may be pushed into a situation, reluctantly, where it's no longer good for her mental health to stay with him. The more it gathers pace, the more likely her hand will be forced. 'Family, friends and people close to her will become more persuasive in not allowing her to let the situation carry on. 'She's looking absolutely downtrodden, foolish and weak and could easily be tipped over the edge, not only to protect herself but to protect her children. 'It must be horrible to see their dad behaving like that and people talking about him unpleasantly online. 'She may leave him to protect her family because clearly family has been the most important thing to her throughout all of this.' This comes after McGregor put on a cosy display with Dee after the recent scandals. The UFC star posted several beaming snaps on Instagram after celebrating his birthday. Dressed in pink, he posed in shades and posted pics of his kids and of Dee Devlin's hands resting on his chest. It comes after he was seen smiling and snapping pics with Dee aboard the luxury yacht off the coast of Italy. Pictures from his luxury yacht trip in Italy show the MMA fighter sparring and soaking in the sun alongside Dee. In moments, Conor could also be seen gently patting his partner on the bum on the expensive boat, which was adorned with balloons in the colours of the Irish flag. Dee is yet to comment on the mystery women seen with her fiance, and the allegations made by US rapper Azealia Banks. The 212 hit maker shared explicit photos that allegedly show the UFC brawler on X, alongside his threat 'don't be a rat cos (sic) all rats get caught'. While Dee – who's dated Conor for 17 years – hasn't broken her silence, but she's weathered even more sensational accusations levied against him in the past.

Epstein's former model girlfriend claims disgraced financier and sex offender was once ‘best friends' with Donald Trump
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were 'best friends' who were 'up to no good,' a model who dated the disgraced financier claims, as the president tries to distance himself from the Epstein case. They were 'best friends,' Stacey Williams, who dated Epstein for several months in the 90s, told CNN on Friday evening. Last October in an interview with The Guardian, Williams publicly accused Trump of groping her in Trump Tower in 1993 in front of Epstein. He has denied these allegations. 'That was his bro, that was his wingman,' she said of Trump to Epstein. Throughout the four or five months she dated the financier, Trump's name came up a lot, Williams recalled to CNN's Brianna Keilar. 'The only friend that he would mention every time we saw each other or had a phone conversation was Donald,' she said. 'They were very close and they were up to no good.' Williams later added that Epstein also often mentioned Ghislaine Maxwell, a socialite and Epstein associate who was convicted in 2021 on charges related to her role in a scheme to abuse minor girls with the financier. The Independent has reached out to the White House for comment. Stacey Williams said in an interview her ex Jeffrey Epstein was 'best friends' with Donald Trump as the president tries to distance himself from the Epstein case (The Guardian) Keilar read the alleged birthday card Trump wrote to Epstein for his 50th birthday that the Wall Street Journal first published Thursday. Trump vehemently denied the allegations and has since sued the publication and its parent companies for defamation. Williams started laughing when Keilar walked through Trump's response to the bombshell report. 'Trump called that letter 'fake.' He said it was out of character for him because he never 'wrote a picture'…in his life,' Keilar said, quoting Trump's denial. Asked whether she believes this letter sounds 'out of character' to her based on her experiences with both men, Williams replied incredulously: 'What, are you kidding me? I know what they were up to together. It happened to me.' 'I have the post assault postcard with a love note,' she added, referring to a postcard of an aerial view of Mar-a-Lago she says Trump sent to her agent later in 1993. In what appeared to be black Sharpie, according to The Guardian, the card read: 'Stacey – Your home away from home. Love Donald.' 'I know what they're up to together and I know what that means,' Williams told the network. 'It's very clear it wasn't baking or fishing.' Williams and Epstein started dating after the second time they met. It was at a 1992 Christmas Party at the Plaza Hotel that Trump threw, she recalled. Months later, she and Epstein were walking down Fifth Avenue. The financier 'was joking about how Donald thought I was hot…and wants to talk to you' before suggesting they visit Trump at his office, she recalled. Trump and Epstein were 'very close and they were up to no good,' Williams told CNN (NBC News) 'So we went up to his office in Trump Tower and, within a couple of minutes, Donald was outside of his door and his hands were all over me. They were on my breasts, they were on my butt. They were on, you know, my hips up and down while the two of them just kept having a normal conversation,' Williams told Keilar. They were discussing 'irrelevant' things, such as how Williams was just featured on another cover of Sports Illustrated, she said: 'They were back and forth smiling and grinning and carrying on a conversation while Donald ran his hands all over me.' Assistants were walking back and forth while the incident occurred, she said. 'If it happens in a dark alleyway, you defend yourself. But when it's hidden in its brazenness like that, which is Donald Trump's forte, you go into shock,' Williams told the network. 'So I froze and it was over very quickly. It was a few minutes.' As she and Epstein got into an elevator to leave, she realized 'Jeffrey's energy had changed.' Williams recalled: 'He was, he was like seething, he was enraged. He wouldn't make eye contact with me.' When they returned to Fifth Avenue, he blamed the incident on her. She remembered: 'He looked at me and he just started yelling at me saying, 'Why did you let him do that?'' She had the same thought herself. 'I remember thinking like, 'Why did I?' I felt like I was coming back into my body at that moment and I was confused,' she said. When she first came forward with her assault accusations, Williams said she believed the incident was 'coordinated' between the two men. Pressed as to why what led her to that conclusion, she told the network that she was known in the industry to be 'combative' with people who would harass her on the street or expose themselves. 'Jeffrey was aware of that and I think he was excited,' she said. 'I think the gist in my mind, given what [Epstein] knew and the way it played out, was, 'Hey, I'm gonna deliver this person to you who's actually not gonna let you get away with what you do.' And I did 'cause I froze,' she said. Trump's friendship with Epstein spanned the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s, and Trump's phone number — and First Lady Melania Trump's — were included in Epstein's infamous leaked address books. Trump's name also appeared seven times in passenger logs for Epstein's planes. The pair reportedly fell out in 2004, when Epstein and Trump both tried to buy a Palm Beach estate. The next year, the FBI began investigating Epstein for child sex trafficking. He pleaded guilty to a state charge of soliciting sex from a minor in 2008. Trump distanced himself from his former friend after Epstein's arrest in 2019, when Trump was president. He has previously denied the allegations made by Williams. Williams' comments come as the president tries to keep the Epstein case at an arm's length. Last week, the Justice Department announced it had found no evidence to support the existence of a so-called 'client list.' The department also said no 'further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted,' months after it released 'Phase 1' of the Epstein files in February and the attorney general said her team was reviewing a 'truckload' of information. The DOJ asked a court on Friday to unseal the grand jury transcripts in the Maxwell and Epstein cases. The grand jury testimony is a small portion of the thousands of documents related to the Epstein investigation and criminal case.
