Ex-Prem assistant ref jailed after luring man to flat, locking him inside and raping him
AN ex-Premier League assistant referee has been jailed for raping a man. Steven Wilson, 55, lured the stranger from a taxi rank to his flat by promising to take him to a party with 'a lot of girls'. Advertisement He locked him in and forced him to perform a sex act before raping him in 2009 in Worcester. Wilson evaded justice until 2021. The victim recognised him from an article about his other sex crimes and told cops. Wilson, of Rowley Regis, West Mids, was found guilty of rape and sexual assault at Worcester crown court.
