On Arjun Kapoor's birthday, Kareena Kapoor Khan treated fans to a throwback from the sets of their 2016 romantic drama Ki & Ka. Taking to Instagram, Kareena shared an unseen behind-the-scenes photo and wished the actor. Karan Johar also wished the Singham Again actor.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Kareena shared a photo with Arjun and looks like it is from wrap up party of Ki And Ka. She wrote, 'Happy Birthday Arjj…have a fabb year ahead…lots of love always @arjunkapoor." Earlier, Karan Johar also shared a photo of Arjun and wished, 'Funniest guy in any room!!! Yaaron ka yaar and dil mein bahot saara pyaar! Happy birthday Fubu! @arjunkapoor have the best decade."
To note, Arjun Kapoor made his acting debut with the 2012 romantic drama film, Ishaqzaade, which turned out to be a blockbuster. Despite being a member of the 'Kapoor Khandaan', Arjun has made his own mark in the entertainment business with his impressive acting abilities.
Arjun gained widespread recognition for his performance as the main antagonist, Danger Lanka, which is a departure from his usual lead roles. In the film, he played the role of a modern-day Raavan as the film's plot was inspired by the Ramayan. The film also featured an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Jackie Shroff. Despite facing a big clash with Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the film, as per minted Rs 242 crores at the domestic box office.
Arjun will be next seen sharing the screen space with actors Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in the upcoming comedy sequel, No Entry 2. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film is expected to go on floors later this year. However, the names of the female leads of the film have not yet been confirmed by the makers.
Kareena is set to deliver a powerful performance in the upcoming crime drama Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar. This project reunites Kareena with Junglee Pictures and Gulzar, who previously collaborated on critically acclaimed films like Talvar and Raazi.
The film also features Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in what is described as a 'dream team" pairing. Prithviraj is reportedly cast as a police officer, while Kareena takes on a central and gritty role that promises to explore the grey areas of crime, punishment, and societal justice.
