66-year-old at-risk man missing in Logan Heights
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 66-year-old at-risk man went missing Thursday in the Logan Heights neighborhood. Jesus Vega was last seen around 2 p.m. walking from the 500 block of Dewey Street, the San Diego Police Department posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 9:59 p.m. Vega is described as standing 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown eyes, a gray mustache and is balding. He was last seen wearing a red zip-up sweater, gray sweats and no shoes. Remains found at Torrey Pines State Beach identified as 10-year-old girl Vega is considered at-risk due to a medical condition and may need help, police said. Yuba City police search for woman missing for more than a week, possibly in San Francisco
( — The Yuba City Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a woman who has been missing for more than a week. • Video Above: What should you do if someone you love goes missing? Sierra Sweeting, 27, was last seen the morning of May 19 near Plumas Court and Live Oak Boulevard in Yuba City, according to YCPD. Investigators believe Sweeting may be traveling to Mission Street in San Francisco by an unknown means of transportation. 'Extreme Heat Watch' underway in Northern California, 104-degree weather forecast Sweeting is described as a Black woman with dyed blonde hair, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing leggings, a black beanie, and a black jacket. Police consider her at-risk because of medical concerns. Modesto police looking for missing at-risk adult, Amparo Cortes
( — The Modesto Police Department is asking for the public's help to find an at-risk missing adult, Amparo Cortes. According to MPD, Cortes is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and short white hair. He was last seen wearing a white cowboy hat, a plaid white shirt with blue lines, and blue jeans. MPD stated that he was last seen leaving the 1500 block of Moccasin Drive in Modesto on foot at around 5 p.m. Officers ask that if you do see him to contact 911 immediately.
