Stacey Solomon's career so far Stacey Solomon has been a familiar face on viewers' screens for over a decade. Let's take a look back at her career. The X Factor (2009): Stacey competed in series six of long-running ITV singing competition The X Factor. During her time in the show, she was mentored by Danni Minogue in the 'Girls' category. The star finished in third place, behind Joe McElderry and Olly Murs. I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (2010); In late 2010, Stacey headed to the infamous I'm A Celeb Aussie jungle. After 21 days, she triumphed to win the tenth series. It was through I'm A Celeb that she met future husband Joe Swash - who'd won two years earlier and was hosting the ITV2 spinoff. Celebrity Juice (2011―2013, 2016―2019): The star appeared as a panellist on 21 episodes of the comedy panel game show hosted by Keith Lemon. Stacey was a regular in the 21st series, broadcast in 2019. Loose Women (2016 - present): Stacey has been a permanent panel member of the daytime show since 2016. She previously made guest appearances in 2011 and 2012. Sort Your Life Out (2022 -present): This BBC show sees Stacey, with the help of an expert team, transform participants' living spaces after removing clutter. "You will smash it. Good luck Stacey, I love you to the moon and back." In the final episode of Stacey & Joe, the star told viewers she didn't have sex with husband Joe for a year. The couple revealed their plans for the future in the very last scene. Joe, 43, said: "Maybe we could make another kid next year..." Stacey, 35, shot back: "I don't think so." Giggling, she added: "I don't think we had sex in 2024. We haven't seen each other!" The series saw Stacey balancing a booming career, including a new perfume range, while juggling parenthood with hers and Joe's kids Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, plus her sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships. But while showing the positives, it has also highlighted the spats Stacey has with Joe. The couple had just shot scenes in a counselling session and Stacey was left in tears. She had booked the couples therapy session to support Joe, 43, following his ADHD diagnosis. Viewers also watched Stacey grow increasingly irritated by Joe's inability to carry out basic household tasks. Joe also raised eyebrows when he was shown returning home from a fishing trip five hours late, leaving Stacey to juggle their kids and an important work meeting. This week, a source close to the couple told The Sun: 'Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. 'She's not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.' Despite this, The Sun previously confirmed Stacey & Joe will be returning to the BBC for a second series. Stacey & Joe is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Stacey Solomon wears her wedding dress to TV BAFTAs amid marriage counselling with Joe Swash

Stacey Solomon re-wore her wedding dress tonight for the BAFTA TV Awards, which has been safely tucked away in her wardrobe since she married Joe Swash in 2022. Stacey Solomon has shared an intimate Instagram story with her fans as she disclosed her decision to re-wear her wedding dress for the BAFTA TV Awards ceremony in London this evening. The 35-year-old mother of five, who tied the knot with actor and host Joe Swash in 2022, had kept her bridal gown stored away until this momentous occasion. Opting to don her wedding attire again for the BAFTA TV Awards red carpet tonight, Stacey was sure to be feeling nostalgic. The beloved TV personality, who rose to fame during her breakthrough on X Factor in 2009, uploaded a clip featuring her stylist and buddy Faye working diligently on the sewing machine to alter the dress. ‌ In the video's description, she expressed: "Today I'm wearing my wedding dress. It makes me so sad that this is my favourite most special dress I ever bought and I've only ever worn it once." ‌ She further explained that her singular use of the dress inspired her to get Faye to adjust it just enough to be perfect for the red carpet, the Mirror reports. Stacey's revelation was met with a surge of support from her followers. One fan exclaimed: "That's a fabulous idea Stacey." ‌ A third chimed in with excitement: "Omg" Can't wait." Stacey, beaming with joy, shared photos of her revamped wedding dress on her main Instagram feed. Posing in the altered gown at her Pickle Cottage residence, she captioned the post: "Off to the BAFTAs. I'm so excited and so grateful to have been nominated for TWO @bafta this year. What in the heck is life. ‌ "Thank you BAFTA for this honour. And thank you to my @sortyourlifeout family and @bbciplayer for giving me the chance to present the most special show, it's the best job in the world and I love every second of it. "I decided to have my wedding dress re worked for today because wearing it once feels like a travesty to me. I wanted to get her out of the box and take her out on another special day. "Thank you @fayesawyerstylist and Issy for transforming my wedding dress into something so special and beautiful. I love you girls. Thank you penny for making me feel so beautiful as always. HERE WE GO! Fingers crossed." ‌ ‌ Last year, Stacey and her team bagged a National Television Award for Sort Your Life Out. However, earlier this month, Stacey turned the spotlight on herself, filming her own reality TV show. The BBC reality programme follows her and Joe's life at their expansive Essex home, complete with their children, ducks, and dogs. But watching the show themselves has seemingly brought to light issues in their marriage that they had previously ignored. ‌ Following the airing of their first series, Stacey and Joe have decided to seek guidance from a marriage counsellor. Despite their challenges, the show's popularity has led the BBC to greenlight a second series. A source told OK! : "They underestimated how difficult it was going to be doing this reality show and having cameras around, and watching it back hasn't been the easiest thing." ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! "The insider also noted: "The pressures of all the kids and work while balancing their relationship has been hard, they won't deny that. "They're going to therapy because they love each other and would never want to get to the point where they don't want to be together anymore. "Yes, there have been ups and downs and it's been quite a rollercoaster - but they know there's no shame in therapy and both realise it's the best thing for their relationship and to iron out their issues."

Stacey Solomon's co-star says 'this could be our last series' in heartfelt plea

Stacey Solomon's co-star has urged her social media followers to apply for the new series of their BBC programme as releases national plea online Fans of Stacey Solomon's hit decluttering show Sort Your Life Out have been urged to apply as one of the programme's stars hinted at its future. The BBC series that has been winning hearts and tidying homes has been the subject of much speculation regarding whether it would get another run. ‌ Since its launch in November 2021, the transformation programme, fronted by the 35-year-old star alongside a crack team of organisers and cleaners, has gathered a legion of fans, clinched a National Television Award, and elevated viewership figures significantly. ‌ Despite five series worth of transformations, whispers about a potential sixth series have left many viewers restless with anticipation. Addressing this, Dilly Carter, a beloved face on the show known for her organising genius, suggested fans make some noise to support the show's return on the Beeb. Taking to Instagram, Dilly stirred excitement with a throwback photo featuring her fellow crew members and a family benefitting from their life-sorting magic. She penned: "Sort Your Life Out series 1 bounced onto our screens in November 2021. Who remembers Steph and her gorgeous girls?" "Fast forward to this week, May 2025 and we are about to start filming for series 6," reports Essex Live Dilly highlighted: "The show has been streamed all over the world millions of times and in that time we have won 2 major TV awards, a @royaltelevisionsociety and a @officialntas and next Sunday we go to the @bafta for our second nomination." ‌ While thanking supporters with a touching confession, Dilly said: "Who knows maybe this time we could win? Fingers crossed. The show goes from strength to strength and that's only possible because of YOU the viewer supporting it so THANK YOU. "But this could be our last series if you don't apply. We need families of all shapes and sizes to apply. "Do you need the declutter of a lifetime? Would you like us to be coming to your home to STRIP, SORT and SYSTEMISE? If so apply today. The link is in my bio. It will be the best decision you ever make to get back in control of your home." ‌ Upon reading Dilly's plea, some fans shared their thoughts on how the show could evolve, with one suggesting: "Love the show and the life-changing impact. How about opening up to single people too? There are many living alone who find it even harder to get out of the mess they find themselves in and help hard to ask for." Others recommended that the show consider revisiting households that have featured before. Meanwhile, Stacey continues to juggle her packed schedule after she and her other half, Joe Swash, 43, gave viewers a sneak peek into their domestic life, to the delight of fans eager for a glimpse of the couple's interaction with their five kids at home. Their programme, Stacey and Joe, which first aired in April, gives fans a peek into their daily lives - encompassing everything from work and parenting to friendships, family dynamics, holidays, and personal challenges. The series also delves into more profound topics like couples therapy and mental health, including Joe's ADHD diagnosis.
