Love and friendship can take so many forms if you know where to look. Sometimes it can be small gestures, like when a dog comforts their bestie, but other times it can take much bigger forms. If you ask the barn kittens on the receiving end of love from their pals, it's way too big!
These barn kittens at Sachtjen Farms are still tiny, but that didn't stop their curious cow neighbors from saying hello. In fact, one of the farm owner Stephanie's cows became absolutely smitten with her new kitten pal, but the baby cat wasn't so sure! Luckily, there were more barn kittens for this friendly cow to snuggle up to, and she wasted no time making friends.
I love a gal who knows what she wants! This July 5 video had me cracking up, and I have a feeling you'll love these animals' antics too.
What a sweet cow! This gentle giant is a definition of kindness, though the kittens might disagree. To them, she must look like nothing more than a large nose!
"The kittens are like 'this is terrifying but I kinda like it,'' one commenter joked. To some extent, it must feel like getting groomed by a mama cat, but with a much larger tongue! Whatever they make of it, they'll have to get used to it if they want to continue napping in the like another commenter pointed out, cats are more patient than we give them credit for. They wrote, "My favorite thing about cats is their tolerance to being uncomfortable purely because they don't want to move."
It's so funny, but so true. Some cats will let children cuddle them close and sing together, no matter how much they may despise it. After all, comfort is king!
Barn Kittens and Cats
While most pet owners have either indoor cats or outdoor cats, farms often have barn cats like these little cuties. As kittens, they may not do much besides looking adorable and making friends, but when they grow up, they have a very important job: hunting rodents!
Keeping mice and rats away from the farm is healthy for both plants and wildlife, so a barn cat's role is more important than you may think. Whether they make friends with the animals like these kitties or prefer to keep to themselves, cats can be farm animals, too.
