Bankers Prep Up To €2 Billion Debt for DSM Animal Nutrition Unit
Bankers are willing to lend up to €2 billion ($2.3 billion) for DSM-Firmenicgh AG's animal nutrition and health business, as the sale process draws closer to a conclusion. Final bids for the unit are expected this month, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified because the talks are private. Bankers are working out how much debt could be made available to back a bid, they added.

Mauritius Seeks Floating Power Plant Supply to Avoid Blackouts
Mauritius is seeking international bids to supply electricity from a floating plant using heavy fuel oil to bolster capacity and avoid blackouts. The power barge should have a capacity of between 90 and 110 megawatts, according to a request for proposal issued by the state-owned Central Electricity Board on June 18. The process will close on Aug. 15.

23andMe Judge Questions Limits for New Auction for Bankrupt Firm
The judge overseeing the bankruptcy of 23andMe questioned the limits proposed for a second auction that is designed to push bids higher than a current $256 million offer from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals for the genetic-testing firm. US Bankruptcy Judge Brian Walsh asked lawyers for Regeneron and 23andMe to justify the limits they're supporting, but which have been criticized by the only other bidder, a California-based research institute backed by former 23andMe Chief Executive Officer Anne Wojcicki.
