Kylie Minogue looks ethereal in pale pink gown as she raises a glass to celebrate her 57th birthday and the fifth anniversary of her wine brand at private members club in London
Kylie Minogue pulled out all the stops on Wednesday night to celebrate both her birthday and a major milestone for her wine brand at a London private members club. The Princess of Pop looked as thought she hadn't aged a day from when she first shot to fame in Neighbours in 1986, as she rang in her 57th birthday and marked the fifth anniversary of her business, Kylie Minogue Wines. To commemorate the special occasion, Kylie unveiled a limited-edition Côtes de Provence rosé bottle, crafted especially for the anniversary. Coordinating her outfit to match the rosé, the singer cut a radiant figure in a floaty pale pink gown adorned with an organza flower and sparkling piping at the neckline. And Kylie didn't resist letting her hair down as she celebrated two momentous occasions, taking to the dance floor to show off her moves. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. While she capped off the celebrations by joining friend and collaborator, The Blessed Madonna, in the DJ booth. Kylie took to the mike, to perform a surprise rendition of their hit, Edge of Saturday Night and remix, Can't Get Blue Monday out of My Head', for the lucky guests. The Spinning Around hitmaker launched Kylie Minogue Wines in 2020 on her 52nd birthday, with the brand having now sold over 20 million bottles globally. She first released a southern French rosé made from a blend of 80 per cent Carignan and 20 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon from the southern French coast. The salmon pink Vin de France rosé was kept on its lees for three months in stainless steel for added complexity. In an exclusive interview with The Drinks Business, Kylie revealed that drinking Provence rosé during sweltering nights in Nashville while recording her 14th album, Golden, is what inspired her to want to make her own. She told the publication: 'It was exceptionally hot and humid that summer, and it was an exciting time, being in Nashville and writing songs with no distractions.' 'While dining outdoors one night, my manager Polly and I were drinking Whispering Angel to cool down from the heat, which got me thinking how great it would be to have my own rosé.' 'I love pale pink rosés and all the associations of the Mediterranean that go with them.' Keen to be involved in all stages of the production process, Kylie chose the wine's long-necked, bell-shaped bottle finished with a pearlescent capsule. She also designed the label featuring her name repeated in relief and her signature in black in the centre. The Padam Padam chart-topper later launched a lees-aged Sauvignon Blanc from Gascony and a Pays d'Oc Merlot. While in November, a drinks industry source revealed that her prosecco had become hugely successful, saying: 'The prosecco has been a massive seller for Kylie. 'It is a good quality product - just as you'd expect from someone like Kylie – and it is very drinkable.' 'She wouldn't have put her name to an inferior product and she's reaping the rewards of a successful brand.' Showing her packed and busy schedule, Kylie's night of celebrations came just a day after she took to the stage for the first of four nights at London's O2 for her Tension Tour on Tuesday. Showing her packed and busy schedule, Kylie's night of celebrations came just a day after she took to the stage for the first of four nights at London's O2 for her Tension Tour on Tuesday (seen) The singer ensured all eyes were on her as she entertained her legions of fans in a skintight blue latex jumpsuit with matching gloves and ankle boots. Speaking to The Sun after the performance ended, the Australian star told how her Tension Tour almost didn't happen. She said: 'It's been a lot of work and we almost didn't get there, but it's great.' Asked if she watches her performances back, Kylie added: 'I don't watch it on YouTube, but I do see it on socials and that way, sometimes with a phone, the angle is weird or the colours are off, but it gives you another perspective.' On her love of performing, she said: 'My love for doing this only grows and grows. Thank you for understanding and being there for me on my journey. For me, it began in a mystical time known as the Eighties.' Kylie's Tension Tour is split into five acts with the star kicking things off with her 2024 single Lights Camera Action before going into other hits like In Your Eyes, Get Outta My Way and Spinning Around. Later in the show, Kylie performed some of her earlier hits including Better The Devil You Know and The Locomotion. The final act features some of her most-loved hits including Padam Padam, Can't Get You Outta My Head and All The Lovers before an encore featuring Tension and Love At First Sight. The star is the highest-selling Australian female artist of all time and the third best-selling in the UK, but has only now begun to make a name for herself in the US following the success of her viral 2023 hit Padam Padam.

Molly-Mae Hague takes a private jet to Disneyland Paris to celebrate 26th birthday - days after being rushed to hospital after lavish Dubai holiday
Molly-Mae Hague has jetted off to Disneyland Paris for a family holiday as she prepared to celebrate her 26th birthday on Monday. The TV icon-turned-entrepreneur, 25, took to her Instagram stories on Sunday as she teased an array of snaps from her trip - days after the star returned from a Dubai getaway with her fiancé Tommy Fury. Capturing her daughter Bambi, two, inside the airport ahead of their flight, she captioned: 'Let's go Disney!!!' The Love Island alum followed up sharing a snap of Bambi inside a private jet, with the interiors embellished with plenty of balloons and a delicious cake. Molly-Mae didn't scrimp on the decorations as she also snapped a customised birthday garland with her face on. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Another very sweet picture saw the influencer planting a kiss on her daughter as the duo posed in front of the stunning cake. Later on in the day, the fashion entrepreneur informed her followers she had landed in Paris by sharing a look at her chauffeur-driven car and the city sights. The ITV star appeared over the moon as she prepared to celebrate her birthday in style, not long after sharing an array of photographs from her stunning trip to Dubai with Tommy Fury, 26. The influencer and the boxer have reunited after their shock split in August, with a source telling The Sun that they are in the 'honeymoon period again'. They marked their reunion by jetting off for a week away with their daughter Bambi and Molly-Mae has been documenting the trip on her Instagram page. In her latest post, shared to the platform on Wednesday, Molly-Mae showed off her incredible figure in an array of swimwear as she showed off her holiday wardrobe. Molly-Mae and Tommy touched back down at Manchester Airport on Wednesday following their romantic holiday abroad. The star later revealed though that she had been rushed to hospital shortly after arriving home. The Maebe founder, 25, explained in her recent YouTube video on Saturday that she was suffering with 'severe pain' in her leg following the long-haul flight and was told to urgently go to A&E to get it checked. Molly said she feared she had a blood clot in her leg after feeling a 'sharp, stabbing pain' in her leg which then moved to her knee and ankle. She soon called 111, when she started to feel her leg go numb, and was told by a doctor to go straight to hospital. She said: 'Basically yesterday I thought I had a blood clot and half of today I thought I had a blood clot in my leg. 'Obviously flying home from Dubai I was on the plane for like nearly eight hours… I didn't drink like hardly any water. 'You know when you're in mum mode and you're just not really thinking like you're trying to tame your child. 'I was in so much pain, like it was in the back of my knee, so so strong. Like it didn't feel like a dead leg, it was like a sharp stabbing pain… 'Then it's moving down into my calf, into my ankle, into my foot, like my whole calf is just in so much pain.' 'I was in A&E for absolutely hours. It was absolutely packed, it was such a sad environment, so many poorly people.' But after waiting for four hours in A&E for a blood test, Molly was told she needed to wait another hour and then a further three for the results to see a doctor. Worried about not getting back to take Bambi to nursery in the morning, Molly went back home. She said: 'I need to leave. Like I can't stay here any longer… We had like nothing with us this morning.' The next day, Friday morning, Molly woke up with a lot less pain until she was hit with a wave of dizziness, nausea, and shortness of breath later that afternoon. She said: 'I had this awful awful like dizzy spell where the room was spinning. I thought I was going to vomit… 'I had this really really funny time where I was like I couldn't breathe properly… almost like a bit of a panic attack but like it was just horrible.' Rushing back to hospital, Molly went back to the hospital to get a full round of tests - which came back clear. She continued: 'They said that I'm completely fine, like all my vitals… my heart rate, blood test, everything was absolutely fine. 'Like there was nothing that showed them any sort of concern or anything about a blood clot.' Molly later stressed to her fans the importance of taking blood clots and health seriously. The Dubai trip marks Molly's sixth holiday of the year having already jetted off to locations including Switzerland, Paris and St. Moritz already in 2025. She also flew to Dubai with Tommy in March with their daughter Bambi, and they have now recreated the trip with another relaxing voyage to their favourite destination. At the time, Molly-Mae referred to their first trip as 'the best holiday of her life' after fans were sent wild over whether she and Tommy had reunited.

EXCLUSIVE 'I thought I was going to die': Brit tourist rescued from 8ft hole HE dug on Brazil beach tells of terror, but admits 'I think it's just a guy thing where you go to the beach and dig a hole'
A British man who became stuck in an eight-foot hole on a beach in Brazil has told how he 'thought he would die' before being rescued by locals in a terrifying three-hour ordeal. Jensen Sturgeon was celebrating his 22nd birthday in Rio de Janeiro while on holiday with friends on April 26 when the group decided to visit the iconic Copacabana Beach. Mr Sturgeon, a baggage handler at Gatwick airport, began digging a hole while his friends sunbathed and was even handed a shovel by a bemused worker to aid his efforts. But after reaching eight feet he struck water, leading the sand around him to collapse and leaving the Briton stuck. Mr Sturgeon told MailOnline: 'My mate started sunbathing and I thought it would be a great idea to dig a hole. 'We got about eight feet deep and then obvs found water at that point and then it all just came down on me. 'My head was even under the sand. I was trying to shout for my mates and I knew they couldn't hear me.' After fighting against the sand, Mr Sturgeon managed to free his head and call for help, with some 30 people gathering around him in a bid to get him out. 'I was quite scared,' Mr Sturgeon said. 'At one point I looked behind me and I could see a huge pile of sand. I thought if that fell on me that would be it. 'All that was going through my head was, this is it. I really thought I was going to die that day.' It took three hours for the crowd to rescue the tourist, using piece of wood, shovels and lengths of rope to pull him up to the surface. At one point, he was even handed a beer, which he drank in a bid to stay hydrated. He was eventually rescued to cheers and applause from onlookers, as some filmed the dramatic rescue. Mr Sturgeon said: 'When I got out I couldn't stand properly. Everyone was trying to talk to me but I just had to sit back down. My legs were so sore for the rest of the holiday.' After his ordeal, Mr Sturgeon and his friends returned to their hotel where they spent the evening watching TV and eating pizza. Despite his ordeal, the Brit said didn't seek medical attention and will probably do it again. 'I think it's just a guy thing where you go to the beach and dig a hole,' he said. 'I feel like I will end up digging another hole on a beach.' Mr Sturgeon was surprised and 'overwhelmed' when the video footage of the rescue went viral last week, making headlines across Brazil. In a video filmed after the incident, he said: 'I'm Jensen from England and I'm the guy who got stuck in that hole. 'But luckily I had good people to save me. Obrigado to the people of Rio that helped me out.'

'I'm been nursing since 1967 - some of my patients are younger than me'
At Milton House in Gargrave, an 80th birthday is being celebrated. Such milestones are regularly marked at the residential care home for the elderly in North Yorkshire - but this time, the octogenarian is a member of staff. Barbara Joseph will be starting her night shift instead of enjoying her gifts of cake and whisky. Ms Joseph has been a registered nurse since 1967 and says she has no plans to retire from the job she was "meant to be in". "I just love looking after people. People need me to look after them, so I do it." She joined Milton House in the 1990s and still does two shifts as a night nurse each week, clocking on just before 8pm and off the next morning. Nowadays, some of the residents are younger than her. Only slightly her senior is Patricia Elton-Conden, 86, who says Ms Joseph is a welcome sight on her evening rounds. "I'm always happy when she's here. You can talk to her about anything really, and she's always there with an ear for it. "I can't really explain how wonderful she is - she tells me about the places she's been, which is important when you can't go out any more. I do love her to bits." She was part of a post-World War Two recruitment drive to train nurses from Commonwealth countries, and arrived from Trinidad in 1967 for her placement at Skipton General Hospital. Deputy manager Geraldine Platt was even trained by Ms Joseph when she started at the home herself. "I thought she was amazing. She was very thorough, very kind and her work ethic is outstanding," recalls Ms Platt. "I've known Barbara to leave a Christmas dinner and come in when someone's been ill. That's the kind of nurse she is." In 1970, Ms Joseph was present when Prince Charles opened the new Airedale Hospital, and she also met the late Queen Mother. She worked in Manchester and London, but settled back in Skipton with her family. "Everyone was very kind and very welcoming. It just drew me right back, and I had to come back to Skipton." Ms Joseph joined an NHS that was only 20 years old and where staff were still regularly treating patients with diseases such as polio and tuberculosis. "In my time you'd take courses at school and then go on the wards. That's where you really got nursing experience, working on all of the different units. "I love the way we were trained years ago because to me, that was really looking after people". She has to take refresher training every three years to maintain her registration, but does not want to cut back on her hours and says she would feel "a bit lost" without work. She travels to Milton House by bus and gets plenty of steps in doing a job she loves, which has kept her fit. "I walk, I go and travel to interesting places, I visit museums. I love my sports – any sport really, I'll go and watch the Commonwealth Games and things like that. "When I was very fit I used to play squash." The birthday party at the home was attended by staff past and present, including many who have long since retired. A low-key family gathering is also planned, but Ms Joseph will be back on shift the next evening. At the prospect of taking a day off to celebrate, this stalwart of the nursing profession just laughs.
