CMA requests more details on National Building's planned bonus issue
Nomu-listed National Building and Marketing Co. (NBM) received a request from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) for more information on its planned capital increase via a bonus issue. In a Tadawul filing today, Aug. 10, the company said it will submit the required details in line with regulations and will announce any further developments in due course. On March 29, NBM's board approved a 150% capital hike by issuing 1.5 bonus shares for each share held, capitalizing SAR 180 million from retained earnings.

HDFC Bank's Board to Consider Issue of Bonus Shares on July 19
HDFC Bank Ltd. said it will consider a bonus issue of shares on July 19, when the country's largest private sector lender is scheduled to announce its quarterly earnings. The proposal for bonus shares could boost the bank's stock, which is trading near all-time highs with gains of more than 12% this year.

Edaa implements securities increase on Arabian Pipes
The Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) announced implementing securities quantity increase for Arabian Pipes Co. (APC) on the accounts of eligible shareholders today, June 12. According to data available with Argaam, APC shareholders recently approved the board's recommendation to increase capital from SAR 150 million to SAR 200 million via a 3-to-1 bonus issue. The process will be financed through capitalizing SAR 50 million from the retained earnings.
