Stolen side by side and power tools in Huron-Kinloss

RCMP seek assistance searching for thieves in Drummond, N.B.

Thieves forced their way into a residence on Route 108 in Drummond and stole furniture and personal belongings, said an RCMP news release. The residence was unoccupied during the incident. Police said they believe the theft occurred between May 20 and 22. Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or recorded surveillance footage on those dates is asked to contact Saint-Léonard RCMP. Brampton man facing dozens of charges following break-ins at commercial and office buildings
Daniel Irvine, 38, of Brampton, is facing dozens of charges following a break-and-enters investigation. (PRP photo) A 38-year-old man from Brampton is facing dozens of charges following an investigation into several commercial and office building break-ins. Peel Regional Police said the break-and-enters occurred from February to May 2025 in Brampton. Daniel Irvine, 38, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with 48 counts of break, enter and commit an indictable offence, and two counts of break, enter with intent to commit an indictable offence following a 'thorough investigation,' police said in a news release. The charges have not been proven in court. Irvine was held for a bail hearing and appeared in a Brmapton court. Teens charged after breaking into mall, bear spraying security guards

THE CANADIAN PRESS/David Lipnowski Two teenagers have been arrested and charged after they allegedly broke into CF Polo Park, stole from stores and bear sprayed security guards. According to Winnipeg police, the teens were observed breaking into a truck in the parking lot of the mall Sunday morning. When someone witnessed it and called police, the pair ran into the mall. Police say the pair broke into a store, prying open drawers and stealing a laptop. They were seen trying to break into a second store to steal a cash box, but security guards confronted them. The pair allegedly sprayed bear spray at several guards and then tried to run away. They were caught by police near a mall entrance and arrested. An 18-year-old and a 15-year-old male were both charged with 18 offences, including break and enter, weapon offences and breaching court orders. They have both been detained in custody.

Man charged after alleged break-in at Elliot Lake ski hill

(File photo/City of Elliot Lake) A 36-year-old Elliot Lake man faces criminal charges after Ontario Provincial Police arrested him for allegedly breaking into the chalet at Mt. Dufour Ski Area, a local community-run non-profit ski hill. OPP responded to an activated alarm at the facility on Ski Hill Road around 1:30 a.m. on May 24. Mt. Dufour Ski Area operates a full-service chalet with a licensed lounge, rental equipment, and a canteen that serves meals to support the hill's operations. 'A smashed rear window was observed and alarm motion determined movement in the kitchen area of the chalet,' police said in a news release. Officers located the allegedly intoxicated man inside the canteen's kitchen area, they said he was 'helping himself to food.'
