North Bay police have released security cam footage of a break-and-enter suspect caught on camera Sunday in the McLaren Street area. North Bay Police Service is seeking the public's help to identify a suspect in a recent break-and-enter at a residential property. The incident took place Sunday afternoon at a residence in the McLaren Street area. 'Video surveillance footage from the scene captured an individual believed to be responsible,' police said in a news release Monday. North Bay break and enter North Bay police said the suspect is believed to be a male riding a grey bicycle wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with rolled-up sleeves and black shorts. He was wearing a hat with a red rectangular logo, shoes with yellow toes and was carrying a beige backpack. 'Police are also aware of additional and similar incidents reported in the area,' the release said. Similar cases in the area 'These cases are currently under active investigation and it is not yet known if they are connected.' Residents in the area are being asked to check their security cameras for any footage of the suspect between Sunday evening and overnight until Monday morning. 'Even minor details may help advance the investigation,' police said. Police 'have increased patrols in the affected areas and will continue proactive efforts to deter further incidents,' the release said. 'All residents should remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour immediately.' Police stop break-and-enter, arrest two suspects
Two suspects have been arrested after police stopped a break-and-enter at a construction site. Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to a break-in in the 200 block of Giles Boulevard East. When police arrived on scene, the found two men illegally went into the property and set off a motion sensor. The Windsor Police Service secured the perimeter, doing a search of the building. Both suspects were found on the third floor and were arrested without incident. Wire-cutting tools were seized. A 59-year-old man and a 46-year-old man were arrested and charged with break-and-enter at a place other than a dwelling.

Police charge man linked to break-and-enter investigation in Gravenhurst
Provincial police in Bracebridge have charged a man linked to a break-and-enter investigation in Gravenhurst. On Sunday, just before 11 a.m., OPP officers were dispatched to a business located at the corner of Muskoka Road South and James Street. Police say the suspect allegedly smashed the door to a business, however was unsuccessful in gaining entry. Officers gathered evidence and spoke with witnesses in the area. The next day, they arrested and charged a 34-year-old of Gravenhurst with break and enter, mischief and fail to comply with probation. The man was held in custody and will appear for a bail hearing to answer to his charges.

Search warrant leads to arrests and recovery of stolen property in Guelph

On Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Vanier Drive. A 34-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested following the search with several break and enter charges. Police said a large amount of suspected stolen property was found. 'Investigators have since linked many of the items to recent residential break and enters and thefts from vehicles in various areas of Guelph,' said police in a news release. Police said they are working to return the recovered property to its rightful owners. They've encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity. The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges may be laid.
