Wrap battle as McDonald's brings back fan favourite to rival Popeyes
Mcdonald's Snack Wrap is officially returning to menus on July 10, 2025, after being discontinued in 2016 due to complexity in preparation.
The fast-food chain teased the return of the Snack Wrap, initially hinting at July 14, 2025, before confirming the earlier date.
The Snack Wrap, which includes grilled or crispy chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese, and ranch or honey mustard in a tortilla, was first introduced in 2006 and boosted sales.
Popeyes announced the addition of crispy chicken wraps to their menu starting Monday, available in classic, spicy, and honey mustard flavors for $3.99 each.
McDonald's USA president Joe Erlinger confirmed the Snack Wrap's return in 2025, citing its 'cult following' and numerous customer requests.
