Saskatoon police investigating concrete mixer truck rollover
Saskatoon police are investigating a single vehicle rollover involving a concrete mixer truck.
According to the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD), the crash was reported around 12:46 p.m., Thursday at the intersection of 22nd Street and Neault Road.
Fire crews responded to the scene and observed a fluid leak from the truck, which upon further investigation was determined to be water, posing no environmental hazard.
The SFD says the driver, who pulled themselves from the vehicle, was assessed by firefighters and then walked to a Medavie ambulance for a more thorough medical evaluation.
The fire department says the scene has been secured and traffic is being rerouted. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
The Saskatoon Police Service has taken over the scene for further investigation.
