Bullfighter, 35, is gored to death after taunting animal at packed festival
This is the moment a man was fatally gored after taunting a bull in Colombia.
The victim, Yovanis Márquez, 35, was among dozens of members of the public who participated in the 'corraleja,' a bullfighting festival, Saturday in Fundación, a city in the department of Magdalena, which sits near the Caribbean Sea.
Video footage showed Márquez looking around the sold-out bullring and shouting at the spectators as he prepared himself to challenge the bull.
In a second video, the bull could be seen standing in front the fencing with barbed sticks stuck behind its head as Márquez stared him down.
Márquez then took off running and tried to execute a somersault when the bull took a step forward and struck him with one of his horns.
Spectators screamed in horror as the bull went after Márquez as he laid on the ground, driving a horn into him and flipping him over.
A stunned Márquez stood up on his own and ran away as bystanders tried to assist him.
Márquez was rushed to an area hospital, but he arrived without vital signs and was pronounced dead on arrival.

One spectator told Colombian newspaper El Tiempo that Márquez had appeared to be alright immediately after the initial impact.
'He stood up as if he was fine, but the blood was flowing. It was only a few seconds before he fell to the ground.'
The event, which was part of the patron festival and bans the killing of bulls, continued despite the incident.
Márquez's death comes after a man was nearly killed by a bull at a festival in Xico, México on July 22 that is similar to the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Video showed a large crowd standing behind barricaded street as Roberto Pozos challenged the animal and kneeled on the ground.
As Pozos faced off with a honey-colored bull, a second bull charged in from behind and sent him flying into the air as the spectators screamed.
Pozos was airlifted to a medical center in Xalapa, the capital of Veracruz, to undergo reconstructive facial surgery.
Emilio Macías, a matador, was viciously gored by a bull at bullring in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala on March 1.
The bull tore through Emilio Macías' left buttock and struck his femur. It also pierced the rectum, colon and right hip.
Macías was taken to a hospital in Puebla, where he underwent an operation that lasted almost nine hours.
