Coinbase shares fall 11.2% after profit drop
LONDON :Coinbase's Frankfurt-listed shares tumbled 11 per cent on Friday, a day after the cryptocurrency exchange reported a drop in adjusted profit for the second quarter, as gains in subscription and services revenue were offset by weaker trading activity. Shares in the company fell almost 7 per cent in after-hours trading on Thursday following the release of its results.

Coinbase Reports Drop in Profit
Coinbase COIN 5.06%increase; green up pointing triangle Global reported a sharp drop in quarterly profit, even as revenue grew from the same period last year. The biggest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange said it earned $66 million, or 24 cents a share, in the first quarter, compared to $1.2 billion during the year-ago quarter.
