I'm A Celeb star is cruelly dad-shamed by online trolls for sharing picture of his four-year-old son drinking milk from a bottle

Jake Quickenden was cruelly dad-shamed on Thursday for sharing a video of his four-year-old son drinking from a bottle of milk. I'm A Celeb star Jake, 36, and his wife are parents to children Leo, four, and Kit who was born earlier this year. On Thursday evening Jake shared a sweet clip to his Instagram of Leo in his pyjamas larking around on his bed - and he was drinking from a bottle. The post divided fans as some questioned why he was still using a bottle at the age of four, while others defended Jake. The trolls penned: 'A little old to be still drinking from a bottle!!', 'Why is this kid still drinking a bottle of milk? He's way too old.', 'Why's that child still drinking from a baby bottle ???', 'What's more scary is the kids drinking from a baby bottle.' Others were more positive, saying: 'Awww this is so cute.', 'Your little son is so cute drinking his milk!!!! Adorable xxxxxxx.', 'Imagine posting a video of your child saying something so emotional and beautiful. In clean pyjamas, in a cosy bed, smiling and chatting with his daddy… only to have people pick up on the fact he's drinking from a bottle. 'The internet sucks sometimes, honestly.' Jake has previously opened up about being targeted by vicious trolls over his parenting. The star said he finds it hard not to let the cruel comments influence his mental health as he appeared on Loose Women with Leo sitting on his knee. The trolls penned: 'A little old to be still drinking from a bottle!!', 'Why is this kid still drinking a bottle of milk? He's way too old' He said that the comments affect him more because they are about his son - who he shares with Sophie Church - as he admitted that he often finds himself arguing back with the trolls. He explained: 'When you do have platform unfortunately you're always going to get it, you're going to get people question your decisions, you're going to get people questioning the way you father. 'It's quite upsetting, I'm starting to get my head around it a little bit more because I always feel like if you meet me and you know me then you wouldn't say it. So why do I let these people affect me when they don't know me? 'I argue and I let it affect my mental health and it gets me down. Trolls always pick on the things they know will hurt you, it affects you more when it's your child.' The dedicated father also said that Leo has 'changed my life' as he gushingly described him as 'the most amazing little boy'. Following Leo's birth, vicious trolls claimed the newborn 'needs Botox' and that he's 'weird looking'. Speaking to The Sun soon after, Jake said: 'Obviously the emotions I felt when he was trolled was anger and like surprise. 'I understand if someone doesn't like me, I can be a bit annoying so I get that. But to troll a baby to try and get a reaction out of me, is a little bit low.

I'm A Celeb star cruelly dad-shamed after sharing clip of son, four, drinking from baby bottle

AN I'm A Celeb star has been cruelly dad-shamed after sharing a clip of his four-year-old son drinking from a baby bottle. Jake Quickenden and wife Sophie are parents to children Leo and Kit, who was born at the start of the year. 4 The star revealed his kids are his biggest inspiration, telling us: 'Everything I do is for them. But Jake's recent Instagram post has baffled some fans, as he shared a video of Leo who was in his pyjamas on the bed with a bottle of milk. The adorable tot, who is four-years-old, was claiming to have seen his grandad, Jake's dad, in their home. Jake's dad, Paul Quickenden, passed away in 2008 after battling a rare form of bone cancer. The star, in disbelief, wrote: 'I don't know whether to be totally terrified or cry my eyes out here, me and Leo was just playing in my room and he randomly just started saying this stuff, literally out the blue!! 'He then described him and everything lol he's seen a couple pics but yeah total madness. What would make him come out with that??? They say kids see.' But some fans were more focused on the bottle that the four-year-old was drinking from, questioning if he was 'too old' for it. One person wrote: 'A little old to be still drinking from a bottle!!' A second added: 'Why is this kid still drinking a bottle of milk? He's way too old.' A third penned: 'Why's that child still drinking from a baby bottle ???' And another added: 'What's more scary is the kids drinking from a baby bottle.' But others were quick to share positive comments about Jake's sweet post, with one person writing: 'Awww this is so cute,' a second penned: 'Wow, this is so beautiful Jake,' and a third said: 'Your little son is so cute drinking his milk!!!! Adorable xxxxxxx' Another fan defended Jake's decision to give his son a bottle, adding: 'Imagine posting a video of your child saying something so emotional and beautiful. In clean pyjamas, in a cosy bed, smiling and chatting with his daddy… only to have people pick up on the fact he's drinking from a bottle. The internet sucks sometimes, honestly. My son is 4, he has ASD and still only uses a bottle to drink from. If he chooses to drink from a bottle for the rest of his life then I will be getting us matching ones. Let's do better folks.' Jake first rose to fame on the X Factor back in 2012 and while many have faded into obscurity, Jake Quickenden has firmly cemented himself as a household name. But, recently, the 36-year-old admitted there's a dark side to it all, which rarely gets talked about but affects everyone in the industry - money. Jake told us: 'I'm always worrying about work, you see work come and go, you're wondering when your next job's coming in. 'Obviously you go on a show such as Big Brother and you're loved by some people and hated by others, and there's a lot of factors that you have to think about with reality TV. 'It can be a tough place to be sometimes.' As well as the X Factor, Jake has appeared on I'm A Celebrity, Dancing on Ice, SAS Who Dares Wins and MasterChef to name a few. He has also appeared in a number of stage roles and is making a name for himself in the theatre world. Speaking to The Sun via WhichBingo, the dad-of-three said: 'I'm obviously worried from job to job because money is the main thing that kind of keeps you ticking over. 'You want to pay your mortgage, you wanna be able to go on holiday when you choose and stuff, so I guess there's always a worry if you're not working, that you're not earning money. 'I'm not a multi-millionaire, but I've got savings in case some work doesn't come in for a year and I'm auditioning and it doesn't go my way. 'You've got to use your head and think, in the past when I was younger I'd probably just spend all my money and blow it and then not think about the consequences, but when you're a father and you've got a family and a house and a car to pay for then you do have to put a bit of money away for a rainy day or in case work's not coming in.' 4
