Jennifer Aniston Is Minimalist for 2 NYC Date Nights With Boyfriend Jim Curtis

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis may be getting more serious. A couple of months after they were first linked, the two have gone public with their romance by stepping out on romantic, low-key date nights. On Monday, the couple was photographed out in New York City with Aniston's close friend Jason Bateman, and his wife, Amanda Anka. And on Wednesday, the four were seen again, leaving a hotel in the city. The Friends star has kept her wardrobe easy and monochrome for the outing with her new man. For their dinner date, she brought California to Manhattan in a breezy white spaghetti-strap sundress that she wore with caramel sandals and a brown crossbody bag. Curtis was dapper in a black tee layered under a blue button-up and paired with white slacks and tan sneakers. Then, for the day outing, the actor slipped on a simple black tank top and matching midi skirt. She completed the slinky outfit with black thong sandals, some gold necklaces and rings, rose-tinted sunglasses, and Bottega Veneta's crossbody Cassette bag in 'porridge.' (See the photos here.) Then, Curtis stayed cool in a cream button-up, blue jeans, and tan sneakers. While we do not know how Aniston and Curtis met, they both share a passion for health and wellness. Curtis identifies as a coach, but wears many hats as a wellness enthusiast, entrepreneur, and author, per his website. He also runs in starry circles. His 600,ooo Instagram followers include Jennifer Coolidge, Garcelle Beauvais, and Aniston's Friends costar and close pal Courteney Cox. He has also worked with stars such as Miranda Kerr and Julianne Hough. Here is everything you need to know about him and their relationship. Jess Cartner-Morley on fashion: Forget date night – I'd much rather dress up to party with my friends

It is strange that we talk about date-night dressing so much when we all know that the most fun nights to outfit-plan are really nights out with friends. Well, not actually strange at all, just the patriarchy doing what it does, I guess, and making it feel as if the world as seen from a male point of view – in this case, the view of a frock from the other side of a restaurant table on date night – is automatically the point of view that matters. The Guardian's journalism is independent. We will earn a commission if you buy something through an affiliate link. Learn more. In a fashion context, it just makes no sense. I mean, I accept that I'm generalising wildly here, and I don't for a moment claim to speak for everyone. But my own experience, which I would wager is a fairly common one, is that it is an evening out with friends when I'm going to get maximum appreciation for the fashion content of my outfit. Men just want you to look … nice? Which is fine, but there's a lot more to style than that. Like I say, I am generalising, and not all dates are boy-girl anyway, but still: for many women, dressing up for friends is one of life's under-appreciated joys. On a friends night, you can be wildly overdressed for pizza and your pals will appreciate your look for what it is: enthusiasm for their company. Or you can turn up in your work clothes because you had to run straight from the office, and they won't give a toss and just be thrilled to see you. You can wear your new leather trousers and know you will get the chance to tell, at great length, the triumphant story of how you tracked them down on Vinted. You can wear totally impractical shoes and nobody will roll their eyes when it means you have to get an Uber to a bar a quarter of a mile away. Fashion is a love language in female friendship. It is woven into the fabric of camaraderie between women. There is no place on earth where you will be more generously complimented than in front of the mirrors of the ladies' loos, after everyone involved has had a few spicy margs. I'm not being sexist – it might well be that the same goes for men, but I don't hang out by the urinals so I can't speak to that. What I can tell you is that chat about clothes is, first and foremost, a delivery mechanism for support and cheerleading, woman to woman. Wear something bold, and you will get flowers for your originality; wear something low-key, and you will be lauded for your subtle good taste. Style is a channel of communication. Some features will always get a mention, when women talk about clothes. For instance: dresses and skirts that have pockets. Responding 'it has pockets!' when another woman remarks upon what you are wearing is shorthand for 'I enjoy fashion even though I have more important things to think about, and I think I recognise you as a kindred spirit'. See also: responding to an admiring comment about a pretty pair of shoes by saying they are 'surprisingly comfy' and playing down your snazzy dress by revealing, without being asked, that it is 10 years old and from Zara. But the love language of fashion between the girls isn't just about solidarity, it is about joy. It is about clothes that are chosen not because they make you look taller or thinner, but because they make you smile. Which are, of course, the clothes that make you truly beautiful. It is about outfits that get captured in selfies, that you treasure not because of what you were wearing but because of the good time you had, and so are knitted into core memories. Nights out with friends, with pals who know your silly side as well as your smart side, who might rib you for wearing double leopard-print but would defend to the hilt your right to do so if anyone said a word against it, are the nights that are the most fun to get dressed for. Lauren Sanchez leaves little to the imagination in a sheer backless dress as she enjoys a romantic date night with Jeff Bezos in Saint Tropez

turned heads in a risqué sheer dress as she enjoyed a romantic date night with her husband Jeff Bezos in Saint-Tropez, France on Wednesday. Just weeks after tying the knot in Venice, the newlyweds looked happier than ever as they stepped out for dinner at Cherry restaurant. The billionaire Amazon founder, 61, and Lauren, 55, were every inch the doting new husband and wife on their cosy evening. Lauren went braless and showed off her incredible figure in a backless leopard print number, flashing a black thong beneath. She walked hand-in-hand with husband Jeff, who dressed smart in navy polo shirt and grey trousers. The couple beamed while departing the Italian restaurant, which over looks the ocean. The famous couple said 'I do' in the romantic city of Venice back in June. Their $50million wedding had a star-studded guest list with many A-listers such as Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian and Leonardo DiCaprio in attendance. Now Lauren wears a $5million diamond wedding ring that has fans as well as jewellers in an uproar. One of their A-list wedding guests recently revealed what their lavish nuptials were really like as they disclosed that none of the Jeff couple's 200 guests were told to sign non-disclosure agreements. Sara Foster, the daughter of David Foster, shared details about the glamorous Venetian wedding on Thursday's episode of her The World's First Podcast. While talking to her sister Erin Foster, she surprisingly revealed: 'No one signed NDAs. No NDAs.' She also said that the ceremony was 'very intimate' when asked to dish on the 'wedding of the century.' 'There's nothing. It's so interesting how the optics were this over-the-top, you know, protestors ... It's just not, it's not what it was. It actually felt very intimate.' The newlyweds shared a sweet moment during dinner as Lauren tenderly placed her head on the billionaire's shoulder She also revealed that there were 'definitely a lot of people that were not photographed' but chose to keep mum on the identities of the low-key attendees. 'I can't. I mean, that's, like, so lame. I'm not gonna do that. But it's very interesting how many people went un-photographed. It was definitely a very interesting setup.' Ellie Goulding performed at their reception, while Usher also sang at their pajama-themed brunch the next day. The happy couple got married in a restored amphitheater on the island, as Sánchez wore a high-neck, long sleeve lace Dolce & Gabbana gown that took over 900 hours of atelier to make, per Vogue. The gown featured a flared skirt, long veil, and a tight-fitting waist, with tons of buttons going up the middle.

Selena Gomez Tests Out the Suit and Sandal Combo for a Summer Date Night

Dressing up for summer in high heats and the arid Cali climate can be a bit of a tough one. Selena Gomez appears to have cracked the code. On Sunday (July 13), the pop star and Rare Beauty founder stepped out for date night at—where else?—celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi with fiancé Benny Blanco. If reports are to be believed, there's a lot of planning toward a rumored Montecito-set wedding—why not start over some red sauce? Regardless, for the occasion (eating cheesy ravioli with her love on a hot California night), Gomez opted for a sleek suit and sandal combo, giving a little bit of subversion to her usual ladylike and refined sense of style. Gomez wore for a tailored black suit, wearing a bateau neck black top underneath a black blazer, with matching suit pants that feature an ever-so-slight kick flare. On her feet, a pair of black Proenza Schouler cable thong sandals. She accessorized with—of course—her marquise diamond engagement ring, and added the fringed black Paloma bag from one of her favorite brands, Ulla Johnson. Glam stayed tested and true, wearing her newly debuted long hair—the bangs didn't last long—in soft natural waves, with a set of soapy pink nails, and a petal rose lip. Husband-to-be Benny Blanco kept to his own sartorial rhythm: the super producer wore a loose white and yellow floral shirt with camel colored pants, going sockless in brown leather loafers with gold hardware, and stacking gold chain necklaces.
