On summer weekends Fforest Farm opens its doors for a series of evening barbecue feasts, some led by guest chefs (£24pp). Take in stunning views of the valley from outdoor dining tables for a menu of locally sourced produce that might include barbecued whole chickens marinated with lemon and rosemary. It's worth arriving with enough time before supper to pick up the walking trail that leads directly from the farm, through a nature reserve, all the way to the pretty town of Cardigan and the river Teifi (about 4 miles/90 minutes there and back).
