Coronation Street star announces she's pregnant with first baby after marrying boyfriend in romantic ceremony

Melissa, who played Imogen Pascoe on the ITV soap, shared the news with her fans on social media on Monday. We made a wish and it came true…Baby H-J - we can't wait to meet you. Forever grateful." The happy news comes eight months after Melissa and Dan tied the knot in a lavish ceremony. The actress and disabled rights activist looked stunning in a white off-the-shoulder bridal gown. One snap shows the newlyweds jokingly posing with pals during the wedding reception. While another clip shows the happy couple entering their reception to cheers from their guests. The happy couple were surrounded by their loved ones and her ex-Corrie co-stars. She has also had roles in hit shows including The Interceptor, The Split and I Hate Suzie. The actress has also made appearances in Casualty, Doctors and Silk. Melissa is also a disabled rights advocate and often fights for better on screen representation of disability.

Ruby, best known for her role as Peri Lomax, and her beau Nathaniel, who debuted as Dillon Ray in 2023, might not cross paths on screen often but off-screen their romance is blossoming since going Instagram official last year. Love clearly is in the air for the pair as Ruby took to her Instagram on Tuesday (May 6) to commemorate a whole year of romance with Nathaniel. She delighted fans by posting a quartet of adorable pictures, alongside the caption: "1 year with u" capped off with a pink heart pierced by a blue arrow. Co-star Nadine Mulkerrin commented: "Cutiessss" followed by a string of red hearts, while ex-Corrie actress Kimberly Hart-Simpson chimed in with "Perfect" and a single red heart. I smell more Hollyoaks's babies in the future" followed by a laughing emoji, hinting at her own relationship with co-star hubby Rory Douglas-Speed, who plays Joel Dexter.
