Maloney is a free agent after leaving Wigan in March and is eager to get back in the dugout.

With Dundee set to lose a chunk of their current squad, club chiefs are aware the clock's ticking on an appointment.
Meanwhile, Rangers are closing in on the appointment of their new manager.
