Kilmarnock's signing announcement video was latched upon by the trolls who poked fun at her skin condition. But Stout had the last laugh when he hit the net directly from a free-kick on her debut, helping her new team to a 6-2 victory over St Johnstone. It shows the talented teen lining up the dead ball at the edge of the box before wrapping her boot around it, curling it round the wall and into the net with the goalkeeper rooted to the spot. In his message, which was shared by Tam Cowan, McCoist said: 'Its strange surroundings so let me explain myself, my flight got cancelled and I'm now on a train to Birmingham to watch Aston Villa. 'This is the trials and tribulations of professional football for you Skye, it's just a wee warning for you because I've just heard you've just signed for Kilmarnock which is absolutely fantastic news. 'I played down there for three years and it was three of the best years of my footballing life and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It's a fantastic club with great people. 'You do well Skye, enjoy your football and hopefully one of these days I'll get a chance to come and see you play. Good luck.'

Kilmarnock's Skye Stout sent message by Ally McCoist after vile abuse
The teenager was announced by Kilmarnock as a new signing for their SWPL2 side earlier this week but the club later deleted their posts after vile abuse was aimed at her. Trolls targeted Stout due to a skin condition but she has since received widespread support including from people such as former First Minister Humza Yousaf. There has also been tweets from former Celtic striker John Hartson, ex-Glasgow City midfielder Denise O'Sullivan and many others and now former Kilmarnock striker McCoist has also sent her a video message. It was shared online by BBC Scotland's Tam Cowan, who is a friend of McCoist's. Better known for his time at Rangers, McCoist recorded the video while travelling to work for TNT Sport in the Premier League. And he used that as an opportunity to tell Stout that things are not always glamourous with his flight to Birmingham cancelled.
