De Rossi: ‘Fantastic' Ranieri job at Roma
Roma and Italy legend Daniele De Rossi praises Claudio Ranieri, saying he's been doing a fantastic job at the Stadio Olimpico. De Rossi started the season as Roma's coach but was suddenly sacked in September and replaced by Ivan Juric. Neither the ex-Torino coach lasted long at the Olimpico as Ranieri was appointed in November to become the third Roma coach in 2024-25. De Rossi spoke to reporters, including Football Italia, in the mixed zone of the Stadio Franchi for Pepito Day, Giuseppe Rossi's farewell match. 'It's a great opportunity to meet up and say goodbye to Pepito. Rossi was an incredible player and a wonderful and fantastic person,' De Rossi said. 'We joked that today there are great coaches and great players, but I'm the only one who both played with him and coached him since I had him in my squad for a short time at SPAL. It's a pleasure to be here.' When asked his thoughts on Ranieri's job at Roma, De Rossi replied with just one word: 'Fantastic.'

Champions League line-ups: Inter vs. Monaco
Inter are still missing Hakan Calhanoglu, but bring back Nicolò Barella with Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram to host AS Monaco. It kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 GMT. You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today's Champions League games on the Liveblog. Both these teams are already guaranteed a place in at least the play-offs, but Inter could tip their top eight status with a point here, and further consolidate their spot in the on-going draw with victory. Hakan Calhanoglu and Francesco Acerbi are still out of action, while Tomas Palacios was loaned to Monza today. Mehdi Taremi is not at 100 per cent, so Simone Inzaghi takes no chances by starting Thuram and Lautaro Martinez, even with the Derby della Madonnina against Milan coming up this weekend. Denzel Dumfries and Barella are one yellow card away from suspension. AS Monaco already have a spot in the play-offs too and have some slim hopes of reaching the top eight, so will be out here looking for victory. Former Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria is passed fit to start, but ex-Torino man Wilfried Singo is out injured along with Folarin Balogun and George Ilenikhena. New signing Mike Biereth is not on the Champions League list. Monaco beat Barcelona Crvena Zvezda, Bologna and Aston Villa in the tournament so far this season. Inter: Sommer; Pavard, De Vrji, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Asllani, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Lautaro Martinez, Thuram Monaco: Majecki; Vanderson, Kehrer, Salisu, Mawissa; Camara, Zakaria; Akliouche, Golovin, Minamino; Embolo Ref: Peljto (BIH)
