If Next shoppers like a specific product, brand or deal that's exclusive to the Next program, it indicates to Costco that it may do well across their larger, standard wholesale membership. Next also reinforces connections with suppliers and boosts the value of the "elite" membership tier. For shoppers, the benefit is that they can buy directly from vetted suppliers at "," gaining exclusive access to deals that aren't available to standard Costco members.
