Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz ‘hire Harry and Meghan's lawyer' amid family feud after growing close to the Sussexes

BROOKLYN Beckham and Nicola Peltz have reportedly hired Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's lawyer to help protect their reputations as their family feud escalates. Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have grown close to Harry and Meghan - who have also fallen out with David and Victoria Beckham. 5 5 They've now instructed the Prince's top legal eagle Jenny Afia to help with "reputation management". The British solicitor works for Schillings law firm and was recently seen speaking on The Princes And The Press documentary. A source told the Mail on Sunday: "All of a sudden they have enlisted the help of the Sussexes' long-serving lawyer. "Nicola and Brooklyn are getting fed up of stories running they don't like. Nicola likes to control everything and they have taken this rather drastic action. "For the Beckhams the irony isn't lost. They fell out with Meghan and Harry after they accused them of leaking stories – they were furious and Brooklyn knows that. "The two couples are very close indeed." Brooklyn and wife Nicola first sparked rumours of a huge rift between them and his parents when they snubbed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year. Billionaire heiress, Nicola has since faced accusations of 'controlling' Brooklyn and is believed to be at the centre of the escalating feud between the Peltz and Beckham families. Budding photographer Brooklyn previously fell out with his parents shortly after his marriage to Nicola. Yet with a fresh clash in full swing, experts have told The Sun how the eldest of the Beckham clan has chosen his wife over his mega-famous family. Amid the allegations over her conduct, a source previously said of the Lola star: "She is creating conflict where there is none and divides are springing up left, right and centre." Yet her mates have now taken a stand. One told MirrorOnline: "She is not isolating him [Brooklyn] at all. "He is free to do what he wants and he loves his wife and they are happy together. "They are each other's family.' 5 5

EXCLUSIVE Key sign that 'awkward' Nicola Peltz was 'distancing herself' from the Beckhams revealed in final photograph together - as three-year feud comes to an ugly head

Nicola Peltz positioned herself as an 'outsider' in her final photograph with the Beckhams, it has been claimed. The last photograph of the Beckham family with their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola before their feud went into overdrive was posted by Victoria on Boxing Day last year. Since then, relations have soured so much it seems almost beyond repair. Yet body language expert Judi James explained to MailOnline how trouble was already showing when the group spent Christmas together. She mused: 'Nicola's smile here looks charming and her pose is a mirrored version of Victoria's but it has seemed as though she might have been actively distancing herself (and Brooklyn) from the Beckham clan. 'It is not an unusual step for new wives hoping to encourage a husband to stand on his own feet rather than being overly-dependent on his parents. 'This line-up might be a reflection of that distancing although in the past it has been her and Brooklyn sitting apart from his parents, while here he poses apart from his wife, which could have added to any tension.' Judi also noted the difference between the last snap and previous family posts, explaining: 'The Beckhams are and have always been a very close family unit. 'Christmas pics in the past have always had a "team Beckham" vibe with things like matching pyjamas and very affectionate poses. 'When Brooklyn married to start his own life as a husband it was inconceivable that he'd leave the Beckham fold, so the expectation from fans was that Nicola would be added to the family group and integrated as a new member of team Beckham. 'It was pretty obvious that didn't work out though and there have been many group photos that signal awkwardness or even distancing from Brooklyn and Nicola.' Judi added that Nicola's placement on the end of the row showed her to be the 'outsider' of the group. She continued: 'Nicola's either been put or has chosen to stand on the end of the line here while her husband is embraced near the middle, on the other side of the group. 'Brooklyn is featured here in the hub of the family while Nicole is standing at the end, with Victoria's back to her. Victoria always poses in a way to focus on her husband, meaning she hasn't turned here to include or communicate with Nicole. 'If one of the other boys had come to stand behind Nicole in the line-up there might have been a better balance, but she looks as though she's on the edges here while Brooklyn has had his place restored at the bosom of the family.' Judi's comments come as the feud between Brooklyn and his wife and his family has come to a head. Now, MailOnline recounts the three years of swipes, jibes and pointed absences within the family. April 2022: Nicola 'snubs' Victoria at wedding Rumours of a feud between the Beckhams and their daughter-in-law were sparked on the wedding day itself, when Nicola opted to wear a Versace bridal gown instead of one of Victoria's designs. Whispers of ructions launched when it was claimed that Nicola refused to wear one of Victoria's eponymous designs - instead opting for various designs from Valentino, Christian Dior and Versace. As the wedding plans were underway, insiders alleged Victoria was displeased with Nicola's reluctance to involve her in the plans for the lavish affair. It was claimed the Beckhams' took a backseat on the big day - leading to yet more fury from Victoria, with a source telling Daily Mail: ''The top table was all Peltzs and it really felt as though the Beckhams were not at the forefront... 'There was a feeling that the wedding was all about the Peltz family, as you can imagine, as it was their house and their daughter and their son making the speeches.' Nicola later confirmed the rumours had begun after she didn't wear Victoria's design. While she denied there was a 'feud', she explained that Victoria's atelier simply hadn't had time to make the dress, as she insisted: 'No family is perfect.' Nicola said: 'It's not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, 'feud, feud, feud!?' I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they're labelling it feud?' 'I think it all started, and I've said this before, because I didn't end up wearing Victoria's wedding dress, but the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn's mom got to make that for me!... 'And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn't end up wearing it. But I, truthfully, was really excited to wear her dress. It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it. That's just not true.' September 2022: Victoria 'blanks' Nicola After months of confusion as to why Nicola hadn't worn her mother-in-law's designs on her big day, Nicola claimed Victoria blanked her for days in the run-up to the wedding. She claimed the initial plan was for her to wear a specially-made dress designed by Victoria, however she didn't hear from the former Spice Girl for days before she rung to say she wouldn't make the gown for her big day. The devastating news left Nicola stumped - since her stylist Leslie Fremar and mother Claudia were also set to join the design dream team. The plan was shot down in a call between Victoria and Nicola's mom. In a bombshell interview with Grazia USA, Nicola revealed: 'We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn't hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it.' Doting husband Brooklyn made his position clear amid the family feud, telling the publication that Nicola is his 'number one priority' and that they 'have each other's back 100 per cent'. Nicola, the daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz, attempted to set the record straight as she explained: 'I was planning on wearing Victoria's wedding dress and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. 'I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story.' Following the revelations from Victoria that she couldn't make her daughter-in-law's dress, Nicola recalled: 'So, I spoke to my mom and Leslie, and I was like, "Well, unfortunately, this can't happen, so what's the next step?" 'I've been a fan of Valentino and their couture for so long. I was really lucky to be able to travel to [the atelier] to try on the dress. That's really what happened.' Describing Victoria and David as 'great in-laws', Nicola admitted that it 'hurt her feelings' when it was reported that she had 'never planned' to wear a dress by her mother-in-law. She said: 'It does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it's just not the truth. It's just a bit of a bummer when you're like, "Oh, people think that," but it's just not true.' Brooklyn - who was always known to have had a close relationship with his parents and siblings in the past - made his position on the rift perfectly clear when he stated that his wife is his 'first priority', before adding that they always 'talk things through' and 'move on together' when it comes to rumors and speculation about their personal lives. 'To be honest, my wife is obviously my first priority and I never want to see her upset ever,' he said. 'We have each other's back 100 per cent and we just move on together.' March 2023: Beckhams put on an united front in Paris Amid ongoing feud rumours, Brooklyn and Romeo shocked fans when they turned out to support Victoria at her Fall/Winter Paris Fashion Week catwalk show. And fashion designer Victoria appeared to have finally got the chance to dress her daughter-in-law as Nicola had earlier turned up to the show in one of her garments. Proving that they certainly were on friendly terms again, an Instagram live video showed Victoria headed over to give a warm hug to her daughter-in-law at the end of her catwalk presentation, before embracing husband David. Taking to Instagram after the show, Victoria beamed with pride as she posed alongside devoted husband David and her kids (minus Romeo) for a family photo, with the group also including Nicola. Captioning the Instagram post, she penned: 'I couldn't do it without you, I love you all so much x #harperseven @davidbeckham @cruzbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham. Kisses from Paris (we miss you @romeobeckham!)' December 2024: Romeo starts dating Kim Turnbull Eyebrows were raised when Romeo started dating Kim Turnbull, given she once enjoyed a close relationship with his elder brother Brooklyn. Kim, is the well-heeled granddaughter of renowned post-war sculptor and painter William Turnbull, while her father Alex Turnbull and uncle Johnny were part of the post-punk band 23 Skidoo, formed in 1979. She previously dated Madonna and Guy Ritchie's son Rocco, and through that connection was part of a tightknit friendship group in 2016 which included Brooklyn Beckham. Kim and Brooklyn were undeniably close for a brief period – as photographs of them together at the time show - but suggestions that they were ever an item are wide of the mark, according to well-informed sources. April 2025: Cruz shuts down Brooklyn and Kim rumours As fans continued to question whether Romeo's girlfriend Kim had been romantically involved with Brooklyn beforehand, Cruz was quick to shut it down. He cleared up rumours when he responded to an Instagram post showing a picture of Romeo and Kim together. In a now-deleted message, one user commented: 'It's appropriate to date your brother's ex too? Cool.' Cruz replied: 'Brooklyn and Kim never dated.' April 2025: Victoria and David 'blank' miss Victoria's birthday... Neither Victoria or husband David wished Brooklyn and Nicola a happy third wedding anniversary on April 10 - or even 'liked' or commented on the happy couple's post about their milestone. In fact, none of the Beckham family publicly congratulated them, including Romeo who Brooklyn has reportedly fallen out with. Celebrating three years since they walked down the aisle on Thursday, the couple posted a throwback photo from their wedding day. Brooklyn, 26, captioned the photo: 'Happy 3 year anniversary baby x I love you with all my heart x I'm so lucky I get to spend everyday with you and wake up to your beautiful face everyday you are my world x I love you so much Nicola xxxxxxx.' Meanwhile, Ms Peltz's post - a similar caption to Brooklyn, 26, alongside her photos from their wedding day on Thursday - also failed to prompt any congratulations from her in-laws. ...then they 'blank' Victoria's birthday A week after their anniversary celebrations seemingly went unacknowledged, Nicola and Brooklyn returned the favour by not publicly marking Victoria's birthday. Sharing a sizzling throwback snap of a swimming pool smooch to mark his wife's 51st birthday, David wasn't holding back on the affection front. The celebrity couple's sons Romeo and Cruz were also quick to send loving messages to their mum on social media. However, no such message from Brooklyn or Nicola was posted. May 2025: Brooklyn and Nicola miss David's 50th birthday party Despite jetting into London on the week of David's 50th birthday, neither Brooklyn or Nicola were present at any of the lavish celebrations. They were notably absent from a big family party at the Beckhams' £10million Cotswolds estate, when David and Victoria were joined by their parents and siblings. The couple also failed to appear a few days later for David's birthday dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, west London. It's reported that they had been invited to all three parties and up to the last hours on each occasion, the family had hoped they would attend. But, says one source, 'each time Brooklyn left his parents hanging'. Following the birthday party snub, it was revealed Brooklyn also declined an invitation by his father to join him and his brothers on a 'boys' fishing trip to celebrate his 50th. May 2025: Nicola and Brooklyn spark 'Beckxit' Eyebrows were raised even further when it emerged Brooklyn and Nicola had rubbed shoulders with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at a dinner in Montecito, California. It was reported, the two women found 'common ground' over their new-found infamy as American wives who've allegedly driven a wedge through well-known, and much-loved, British families. Harry had apparently offered Brooklyn his 'unwavering support' amid the fall-out with his parents and siblings – a subject on which he's becoming something of an expert. However, sources told The Mail's Katie Hind that David and Victoria had no idea about the meeting, leaving them blindsided that their errant offspring had joined the 'other side' in what appears to be just the latest jibe at his parents. In fact, not only did the Beckhams not know of the event, those in their circles struggled to believe that Brooklyn and Nicola would agree to meet up with Harry and Meghan having snubbed five of David's 50th birthday celebrations. It was, they say, a particularly cruel blow. Brooklyn knows how hurt David and Victoria were when Harry and Meghan accused them of briefing stories about them,' said a source. 'David, who is very mild mannered, was absolutely furious. 'Brooklyn was very much around and spending a lot of time with his parents when this all happened. It was over five years ago but the upset and dislike is still very much there. 'Victoria was especially good to Meghan in the beginning and it all got thrown back in her face.' Also far from an intimate occasion, there were more than 20 people at the party, held at the Robbins' vast, $17 million, six-bedroom villa, with its 4,500 bottle wine cellar and 88ft swimming pool.

It's not just Brooklyn and Harry! The nepo babies who have fallen out with their famous families - from Kate Hudson to Brad Pitt

Children of the rich and famous have become major conversational sticking points over the past few years - envied for their genetically ordained wealth, prestige and illustrious careers seemingly handed to them a silver platter. But enjoying the riches of inherited cash and status doesn't always guarantee you wealth in all areas of life, as proven by one of Britain's biggest nepo babies, Brooklyn Beckham, who's family relations have recently been the source of heavy online speculation. As his father, David Beckham, celebrated his 50th birthday in style last month, it appeared everyone in the family's address book had been on the guest list, with the former England captain luxuriating in a slew of lavish parties in Miami, Paris and London. However, online sleuths and media outlets were quick to clock two key faces missing from the birthday affairs - his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz. The couple's absence has since fed into ongoing speculation surrounding an intensifying feud within the family, with both having failed to publicly acknowledge both David and Victoria's recent birthdays or been since pictured with them since Boxing Day. But Brooklyn isn't the only nepo baby to have held fraught relations with the very family responsible for his fame. Like the rest of the world, even the rich and famous are not immune to troubled family dynamics with Hollywood history showcasing dozens of similar familial breakdowns, bitter feuds and even estrangement. Even when in-part responsible for their family's lineage of fame, it seems there are countless celebrities who have endured painful conflict with their loved ones. Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus Rumours of a rift between Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, first arose in 2022, when news of the divorce between Billy and Tish, led to rumours of the couple's children - Noah, 25, sons Braison, 31, Trace, 36, and daughter Brandi, 37 -having split down parental lines. Suspicions of a rift between the pair deepened a few months later when it a source claimed that the Wrecking Ball singer had said she was worried the row would negatively impact her upcoming album. The songstress, who is currently due to release her ninth studio album titled Something Beautiful, claimed the singer worried tensions would 'overshadow' her career in the run up to a 'new era'. Miley notably did not include her father in her speech last year when she accepted her first Grammy, which she won for Best Pop Solo Performance for her hit track Flowers. Last month in April, Billy Ray also went public with his new budding romance with Elizabeth Hurley - and a separate insider alleged to New Idea that Miley had not been aware of the relationship when it came to light. More recently however - a source recently told TMZ that such rumours were unfounded, and that the father-daughter duo did not have any bad blood. Fans were also left speculating over a potential feud between Flowers singer and her mother, Tish, after she appeared to unfollow Miley on Instagram - a move she insisted was an accident and not a reflection of any altercation. Setting the record straight, the singer took to social media last week to address the rumours, denying claims that she and Tish had fallen out, also using the opportunity to put to bed rumours of any ongoing disagreement with her father. The timing raised eyebrows, as tensions within the Cyrus family have been making headlines for months; (Miley and Tish in February) 'I rarely comment on rumours, but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us. 'She's my best friend. Like a lot of moms, she doesn't know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me — simple, coincidental and uninteresting. 'My dad and I have had our challenges over the years,' she continued. 'Now, in my 30s, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.' She ended her post on a hopeful note, writing: 'Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.' Miley and Billy also seemed to have reunited to celebrate the singer's brother Braison's 31st birthday, taking to Instagram last week to share an affection family post with the three. Another Instagram post by Billy on Monday snubbed speculation of their feud, with the father-of-five writing that he was so proud of his daughter's 'guts and courage', and that the pair were 'close to healing'. Suri and Tom Cruise For more than a decade, Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise, has been estranged from her father, having cut ties with the actor when she was just a child. It's thought that her mother, actress Katie Holmes's divorce to the Top Gun actor was the tipping point for the father-duo relationship, with tensions over Cruise's membership to the Scientology church to be to blame for their frosty relations. Now 19-years-old, Suri reportedly has not been photographed with her father since 2013, and vanquished all connection to Tom in 2024 when she removed 'Cruise' from her legal moniker - instead adopting her mother's middle name, Noelle. The teenager now shares an extremely close bond with her mother, Katie, who took full custody of Suri after she divorced the Top Gun actor in 2012 after six-years of marriage. At the beginning of their whirlwind romance in 2005, Katie had agreeably become a member of the Scientology church, of which Tom has controversially been an advocate of for many years. But the church quickly became a source of contention for the couple, with Katie adamant that she didn't want their daughter to follow the faith, according to reports at the time. Sources close to Katie later claimed she feared that he might try to abduct their daughter, and her decision to step away from the Church of Scientology was reportedly an issue in their split. Tom first hinted at the father-daughter schism in 2013 when he was forced to sit down for a deposition in a lawsuit where he revealed that Suri was no longer a practicing member of Scientology. In 2018, a report in UsWeekly revealed that the Top Gun: Maverick star currently has 'no part' in his daughter's life, and that he was only permitted to visit the then 12-year-old up to 10 days a month but chose 'not to because she is not a Scientologist.' Despite their estranged relationship, it was reported last year that Tom was responsible for covering Suri's university tuition fees after she was enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. However, a source claimed that Suri is not willing to reconnect with her father, despite financial incentive, with reports claiming he 'does not exist ' to the teenager. 'Suri will not have any contact with her father, despite being 18, and even if he called, she would not answer. He does not exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter does not want to rely on him for anything,' an insider told 'She feels that she has one parent, and that is her mother.' Brat Pitt & his children Brad Pitt has been estranged from his daughter Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, as well as his three adopted children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 20, since an explosive fight on their private jet in 2016 resulted in Angelina Jolie, filing for divorce. Brad was investigated by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services for child abuse, which while ruled out, reportedly left his children ' traumatised '. After it was ruled he hadn't physically harmed his children, Brad was briefly granted joint custody of his brood in 2021 - a decision which was then was reverted back to Angelina having full custody, with the Fight Club actor only receiving custodial time with the minors. At the time of the row, Brad has reportedly been suffering with alcoholism and after his split from the family, he entered therapy before spending a year-and-a-half in Alcoholics Anonymous. After his split with Angelina, the Fight Club actor appear to grow increasing distant from his children, who opted to spend time with their mother over Brad. It took a grand total of eight years for Hollywood's golden couple to reach a divorce settlement, with the pair only having finalised their legal split last year. The couple's eldest and first biological child, Shiloh, legally changed her name to remove 'Pitt' from her title 2024 year. At the time, it was reported that Brad was 'aware and upset' about the decision, and that it served only as a reminder 'that he's lost his children', a source told People. 'He loves his children and misses them. It's very sad,' the insider said, adding that the distance between him and his children was a source of immense 'pain'. And her 16-year-old sister Vivienne appeared to have followed suit after she was listed as 'Vivienne Jolie' for a musical, The Outsider. Additionally, the former couple's adopted daughter Zahara, 20, also dropped the 'Pitt' from her name during her induction into the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta in 2023, introducing herself instead as Zahara Marley Jolie. Maddox, 23, is not believed to use Pitt on non-legal documents either. Of the pair's children to be most vocal has been their son Pax, who in 2023, allegedly called Brad a 'f***ing awful father' and 'world class a**hole', in a private Instagram post. According to the report, the teenager wrote: 'Happy Father's Day to this class a***hole. You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.' None of the couple's shared children have been pictured with their father in recent years. Even Brad's family have but estranged from the children, with his parents William and Jane Pitt, having desperately tried to maintain a relationship over the years, sending birthday and Christmas cards to no avail. A source told that Brad's family had desperately sought to keep in contact but that growing tensions over the fallout of the incident had lead Angelina to make the decision to cut ties all together. Kate Hudson and Bill Hudson Actress Kate Hudson has spent the majority of her life estranged from her father, Bill Hudson. Bill, who was vocalist in The Hudson Brothers, a band he formed in 1965, married Goldie Hawn in 1976 before divorcing her in 1982 after the births of their children, Kate and Oliver Hudson. He and Goldie split when Kate was just 18-months old, with her mother going on to date actor Kurt Russell, who she and her brother came to regard as their father. Over the years both Kate and Oliver have openly shared how they were estranged from their father for significant periods of time, including their more formative years as kids and as adults. In one fiery episode in 2015, Oliver took to Instagram on Father's Day where he shared a post that read 'Happy abandonment day', tagging his sister alongside. Following the incident, Bill appeared in an interview in which he appeared to suggest he had completely disowned both Oliver and Kate, insisting that he no longer saw himself as a father-of-five, but one of three. 'I no longer recognise Oliver and Kate as my own. I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name,' he told describing Oliver's social media as a 'malicious, vicious, premeditated attack'. Instead of rehashing the past, the singer-songwriter said that he and his kids have decided to focus on the 'present'; Oliver, Bill and Kate pictured in the 1980s In an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2016, Kate claimed her mother 'never spoke poorly' of her biological father, and that even as a little girl, she understood that her dad leaving the family 'didn't have to do with me and Oliver.' Despite the disappointment surrounding their fractured relationship, Kate still had empathy for her biological father in that same conversation with Stern, telling the host that she forgave her father. Despite the lifelong rift, the warring parties appear to have begun to wave the white flag in recent years, with reports in US Weekly claiming that Kate had been 'warming up' to her biological father. Agreeing with his daughter, Bill said the pair were focusing on growing their relationship organically afters 'years of ups and downs'. He said that instead of rehashing the past, the singer-songwriter said that he and his kids have decided to focus on the 'present.' Alongside her blossoming relationship with her biological father, Kate has also been seen becoming closer with her other half-siblings, whom the Talk About Love singer fathered after his split from Goldie. Last year, Kate revealed she and Oliver were 'communicating again' with their half-sister Emily - who Bill shares with the late American Graffiti star Cindy Williams - something that Bill said has brought him an immense amount of joy. Frances Bean Cobain & Courtney Love The only daughter of the Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, Frances Bean was born in 1992 just two years before her father died by suicide. Left onto the care of her mother, the two spent the best part of Frances's life enduring a tumultuous and fractured relationship. With both Courtney and Kurt known for having spent years struggling with addiction, Frances was exposed to her parents drug use from an extremely young age, with the musician couple famously admitting in a Vanity Fair interview that they had been using heroin during the pregnancy. The interview, which came just month after Frances's birth, was so serious that it even had her removed from her parents care by authorities. As the years went by, Courtney continued to battle drug addiction, and was embroiled in a number of legal battles throughout her daughter's early years. She lost custody of her daughter again in 2003 after she was arrested for breaking into her then-boyfriend's home and, according to People, overdosed on pain tablets and made a suicide threat. After a two-year stint in rehab, Courtney regained custody of her daughter - but harmony was not to last. Things came to a head in 2009 when Frances filed a restraining order against her mother aged 17, alleging the two had become entangled in a physical fight. At the time, Frances claimed her mother lived on drugs, was a conspiracy theorist and that she had even caused the death of their family cat and dog. She said her mother existed on '...Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes' and that she never ate. 'She rarely eats... She often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives.' She said her cat died after getting entangled in piles of Etsy fabrics, boxes of paperwork, trash and other possessions, while a dog died allegedly after swallowing a stack of Courtney's pills. She even accused her mother of forcing her into a taxi and taking her to her partner at the time, James Barber's home, where she proceeded to scream, throw rocks at his home and threatened to burn his house down. As a result of the accusations, Courtney was ordered to stay away from Frances, Uncle Fester, her paternal grandmother Wendy O'Connor and aunt Kimberly Cobain. However, as the years have passed, the two have began to repair their relationship and are now working on 'bringing balance'. 'When my mom is on a right and healthy path, she is one of the most fulfilling, beautiful, intelligent and kind people I ever met,' she said in 2019 during an episode of the RuPaul: What's the Tee? podcast. 'This is what I like to call the era of balance, and I hope that we're bringing in the era of balance,' she added.

Brooklyn Beckham's nan Sandra backs her grandson amid family feud with sweet gesture

BROOKLYN Beckham's nan Sandra has backed her grandson amid his family feud with a sweet gesture. The move comes just days after Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, were absent from David 's 50th birthday celebrations. 12 Posting to Instagram from a glitzy Los Angeles bash, the food influencer shared snaps with actress Nicola and Airbnb boss Brian Chesky. He wrote in his caption: "Big thanks to @airbnb for having me at their Summer Release. "They're rolling out some amazing new experiences and you can book mine on May 15th! "We'll be mixing cocktails, plating perfection, and experiencing the heat of my @cloud23 hot sauce." Brooklyn looked trendy in a black T-shirt and white baseball cap, while Nicola opted for a sleek black halterneck dress. The budding chef was even seen whipping up some grub at the event. While the Beckham clan remained silent online, Brooklyn's paternal grandmother Sandra made her feelings clear in the comments – inserting two raised hands emojis and a heart. One fan clocked Sandra's gesture, replying: "I love that Brooklyn's grandma always supports him. Everyone needs a grandma like Sandra." Another pleaded: "Please do the right thing no matter what your beef is. Your family is there for you through thick and thin. They got you where you are today. I lost my mum when she was 60 to cancer and a brother to suicide at 40, pls don't look back and have regrets. With the greatest of respect." A third chimed in with: "Go and speak to your family!!! Your Mum and Dad will always be there for you xxx." Controlling Nicola Peltz is next Meghan Markle - Brooklyn has chosen wife over family just like Harry The Sun told yesterday how Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, 43, are secretly supporting Brooklyn and Nicola amid their family row. The couple even had them over for dinner at their mansion in Montecito, California. A source familiar with the event said: 'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both. 'Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar.' The Duchess of Sussex and Nicola found 'common ground' after both were accused of wrecking their husbands' families, sources told The Sun. 12 12 12 12 Harry offered his 'unwavering support' to Brooklyn at the private get-together amid their ongoing 'toxic' family feuds. It came just days after David's 50th birthday celebrations, which were skipped by his son and daughter-in-law. While the dinner had been arranged before the acrimonious fall-out between the Beckham clan, the quartet were said to have 'found a lot of common ground'. Last night, a source familiar with the intimate event said: 'This was an unexpected invite, but one gratefully received by Brooklyn and Nicola, who both feel pretty battle-wounded. 'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both. 'Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar. 'Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a 'deep n' meaningful' as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers — the women to tear apart their husbands' families. 'Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her, and said there was shared common ground. 'They didn't meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence.' It is understood the quartet swapped mobile numbers, but it is not known whether they have stayed in touch. Brooklyn was only 13 when he last met Harry. He was having dinner with his dad at The Sun's Millies awards in 2011 when the young prince came over to say hello. David and wife Victoria, 51, also attended Harry and Meghan's 2018 wedding. Not long after, they gave them full use of their Beverly Hills home so they could 'hide out'. However, the four fell out when ex-Suits actress Meghan, 43, accused Victoria of leaking stories about her. Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar Source A source told The Sun at the time: 'Inexplicably, she feared Victoria was behind [the leak] — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous — and spoke to Harry about it. 'Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David. 'Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified.' Harry also reportedly snubbed David — at Meghan's behest — at the 2018 Invictus Games. Last week's catered Montecito soirée was a pre-arranged event, with Nicola invited through another VIP in attendance, one close to both Meghan and Harry. Around 18 other guests were in there, including Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy. They live down the road and have become good pals of Harry and Meghan, who quit as working royals in 2020 to live in the US. In January last year, Harry and Meghan were flown by Robbins in his private jet to Jamaica to appear on the red carpet at the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love. Last September, Robbins and his wife were at a joint birthday party for Tyler Perry and Harry at the actor's Montecito home. Tracy was also sent some of Meghan's As Ever jam. Harry, now 40, was famously pictured alongside Brooklyn's mum in her pop star days, meeting the Spice Girls in South Africa during his first-ever royal engagement. In his book, Spare, he claimed the memorable meet and greet — alongside Nelson Mandela — was arranged by the royals' PR machine to bolster the popularity of his father, the then- Prince Charles. News of the quartet's unlikely meet-up in Montecito — dubbed 'Beckxit' after the Sussexes' ' Megxit ' — comes amid a flurry of stories about the Beckhams' feud. Just as commentators have blamed US actress-turned-influencer Meghan for taking Harry away from his family, so friends of the Beckhams are pointing the finger at Nicola. They claim the Transformers star has been a 'nightmare' and driven a wedge between the family — accusations her side fiercely deny. 12 12 12 Meanwhile, this week the Princess of Wales appeared to pledge her support to Victoria in the row, wearing a £1,300 suit made by the fashion designer. Sources claim Kate's decision to wear it to the British Fashion Council awards event was an act of 'sartorial solidarity'. The Beckhams are distraught by the fall-out and insist the door is always open to their son - he can get in touch whenever he wants, and they hope he does Source Mum-of-four Victoria is believed to be 'incredibly touched' by the gesture. Former England captain David is also good pals with Kate's husband Prince William. Friends said he feels grateful to the ex- Manchester United star for 'looking after him' as he grew up in the spotlight. Last night, a source added: 'Brooklyn is utterly devastated by the past few months, and especially the fall-out from the last two weeks or so. 'He will always stay loyal to his wife, no matter what, and for her part it's fair to say Nicola is very headstrong — she has clashed with Victoria on numerous occasions. 'The Beckhams are distraught by the fall-out and insist the door is always open to their son. 'He can get in touch whenever he wants, and they hope he does. 'But right now, that seems very unlikely. ' Brooklyn and David and Victoria are desperate to make things right — but only time will tell if that is possible.' A spokesperson for Nicola Peltz declined to comment. 12

I'm no longer speaking to my pregnant sister - after she named her baby after a disease

What started as an 'obviously' jokey list of baby names developed into a family feud when this sister named her daughter after a nasty infection. Taking to the popular Reddit forum Am I The A**hole, a 20-year-old biology student thought to be from the US told how he gave his pregnant nurse sister a list of nasty medical terms that could double as girls' names. Medications, infections and unpleasant animals featured on the list and he included obvious entries like 'Viagra' and 'Hernia' to evade any ambiguity. But now the relationship has ruptured, with the brother telling his 27-year-old sibling that her final choice is 'unacceptable'. And the mother-to-be argues her brother is wildly overstepping his boundaries by believing he has a say in her child's name. Inspired by the gimmick list, she chose the name Malassezia - none other than a common fungal infection. 'Malassezia. The baby's name is Malassezia. One of the names on my joke list,' the post reads. 'Outside of the immediate issues (nearly impossible to pronounce on the first try, the "a**" smack dab it the middle of it, the first syllable being mal-, literally meaning bad or evil), it's also the name of a very common fungal infection. 'One that my sister and I are both genetically predisposed to. One that we've both had multiple times throughout our lives. Her daughter will almost certainly catch it at some time!' His sister and her husband were struggling with names and hadn't found one when the baby shower rolled around - just five weeks before the due date. As well as gifting her the '$900 wooden crib on her list', her brother added in the light-hearted baby name suggestions - a nod to their mutual involvement in biology. 'We have a really close relationship, and it was in line with both our senses of humor,' he wrote. Two weeks later, the expectant mother had decided on the name. 'I pointed it out to her, and she said that yes, she knew what it meant, and she knew my list was intended to be a joke, but she just really liked the way it sounded. 'I don't think the husband knows what it means - I think he'd reject it if he did. 'She says that it's so obscure that no one will ever think twice about it. Except, you know, when little baby Malassezia turns 14, finds a weird spot on her neck, and goes on her phone to google what it is... 'I told her that the name was completely unacceptable, and I was shocked that she chose it,' the post continued. 'I even suggested some similar names, like Mallory, Azalea or Anastasia, that would be more acceptable, but she wouldn't hear it! 'She said that since I'm not one of the parents, I have no business telling her what she can and cannot name her child and that I'm stepping way out of line. 'I think it's pregnancy hormones, and she'll regret the decision very soon after her daughter is born.' The majority of commenters side with the brother, and argue he should continue to fight to change the baby's name. One user wrote: 'I share your frustration and you're looking out for your niece. 'While your sis is right that it's her parental right, you're not stepping out of line. You're family and you're cautioning her.' Some even encouraged the poster to disrupt the process by revealing the true meaning to his sister's husband. 'I'd make a point of telling her husband what the name means,' wrote one. 'If it's not on the legal list of banned names then it devolves to common sense which is sometimes in short supply.' Another echoed the sentiment, saying: 'Just tell the husband what it means. He'll shut it down.' And many were concerned about the little girl's future, arguing that she'd be bullied if anyone discovered her name's meaning, and could face a lifetime of giggles from members of the medical profession. One worried comment read: 'How is your sister not thinking about the embarrassment that is going to come with this name? 'The doctors at every baby appointment will know. I wouldn't be surprised if doctors and nurses giggle when they see her chart. 'And when she's in school kids will likely find out what her name means and bully her. 'Tell your sister to think about her daughter's future. She's thinking too much about her feelings and not thinking about her daughter who would have to live with that name.' However, the more discerning in the audience believe the sister may be having fun with her panicked brother. It seems more likely, particularly in light of her profession as a nurse, that she is keeping up the gag until the baby's birth, where she might reveal a more orthodox name selection. One said: 'Is it possible your sister is trolling you back about the baby name?' Another chimed in: 'Thought the same. She's messing back.' 'This is where my mind went too,' wrote one person. 'Discussing baby names is a perfect opportunity for trolling, and watching people trying to be polite when you throw out some outlandishly hideous suggestion is just too much fun.' With only three weeks to go until the baby's arrival, avid Reddit users will wait with baited breath for another, hopefully explanatory, installment of the baby name sibling saga.
