India Takes Cautious Line as US Tariff Clock Ticks Down

India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said over the weekend that trade negotiations are guided by the country's 'national interests' and the government wouldn't be tied to any deadline. New Delhi has also toughened its stance in the talks, threatening retaliatory duties on some US goods.
