SH1 closed, person trapped after two vehicle crash in Motutere, Lake Taupō
A crash involving a car and truck near the township of Motutere has left one person trapped.

State Highway One is closed following a serious crash near the township of Moturere.
Emergency services are responding to the incident near Jellicoe Point where it's understood a car has collided with a truck at around 7.45pm.
A fire and emergency spokesperson says three crews working to extract one person who is trapped.
Hato Hone St Johns says they're treating two patients at the scene.
The road is closed between Taupō and Tūrangi, with motorists advised to expect delays.
