Enzo Maresca says the rules around fixture scheduling before European finals need tightening after Real Betis, Chelsea's Conference League final opponents, had their last league game moved forward 48 hours to aid their preparations.
All Premier League fixtures will kick off at 4.30pm on Sunday, with Chelsea travelling to Nottingham Forest in a crucial showdown in the race for Champions League qualification. However, La Liga has allowed Betis to move their final-day fixture at home to Valencia to the Friday — handing the Spanish team a crucial extra 48 hours' recovery time before next Wednesday's final in Wrocław, Poland.
