Pictures capture striking displays as airshow comes to its final day
Pictures capture the impressive displays at this year's Eastbourne Airshow.
The popular free seafront airshow, known as Airbourne, returned to the Sussex town for its 31st year.
The event sees four days of flying displays, military exhibitions, attractions on the ground, children's entertainment, fireworks, tribute shows, and more.
The airshow began on Thursday (August 14) and concludes today (August 17).
RAF jets at this year's airshow (Image: Claire Andrews) Those that took to the skies this year included the RAF Red Arrows, the RAF Typhoon FGR4, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight: Lancaster, Spitfire & Hurricane, the RAF Grob Tutor T1 and the Royal Navy Black Cats Helicopter Display Team.
The Argus' Camera Club members captured many striking images from throughout the four days of events.

Sophie Jasmin Mitchell, Tyler Clark, and Lorna Croft photographed the magnificent display put on by the Red Arrows, who painted the Sussex sky red, white, and blue.
Claire Andrews captured a variety of planes flying over Eastbourne including WW2 RAF aircrafts, fighter jets, and a spitfire.
The Red Arrows at Airbourne 2025 (Image: Sophie Jasmin Mitchell) This year's event also hosted the debut of the RAF's gargantuan A400M Atlas which performed a flypast on Thursday and Friday.
As well as displays in the sky, the event hosted a range of other activities for visitors on land.
The Western Lawns held a number of attractions including RAF and other aircraft simulators, fairground attractions, children's inflatables, bungee trampolines, water walkers, markets, military exhibitions, ground aircraft to observe, and food vendors.
