Whether it's adding a few extra plants to brighten up the flowerbeds or getting patios sparkling clean, spending more time outdoors often highlights the need for a backyard makeover.
Fortunately, you don't have to break the bank to spruce up your garden.
Local supermarkets and budget retailers may have just what you need for very reasonable prices.
And B&M has certainly become a go-to destination for gardening essentials, offering affordable buys that make a big impact.
This week, shoppers spotted a reduced item that is the perfect solution for unsightly lawn edges.
It takes just seconds to install and can create a pretty divide between your grass and flowerbeds, without forking out for a wall or wooden sleepers.
The stone effect lawn edging comes in a pack of four and is reduced from £4 to £2.50, saving you £1.50.
The team at B&M say the "stunning" bargain is the ideal way to "frame your garden", with each panel measuring W26 x H22cm.
Their online description adds: "A stylish and durable touch to your outdoor space and perfect for adding definition to flowerbeds and pathways."
Gardening fans have been going wild for the gardening buy after one shopper shared a picture on the BARGAIN LOVERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range & More Facebook group, which has 818,000 members.
The four easy steps to get your tired lawn lush for summer & you don't need to worry about pigeons ruining it either
"Would look nice for the centre of the front lawn", one person said.
A second gushed: "I need to go and get some off these."
"No way! We need to grab some of them", echoed a third.
A fourth insisted: "This would look cute at the bottom of the fence."
"Can someone get me 10 packs please?" pleaded a fifth.
And a sixth wrote: "Got some yesterday £2.50 box."
Other shoppers, however, are not sold on the lawn gadget.
"Looks well cheap and tacky", one person blasted.
Somebody else claimed: "I doubt they'll stay nice for long."
A third revealed: "Not good if you have kids! Snap straight away."
Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: "Absolute cheap, tacky tat my friend had them in her garden and she was fuming how they looked.
"We all had a good laugh - she was laughing I mean and made her husband remove them."
How to save money at B&M
Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.
The scanner lets you see if an item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.
Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.
Here's how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:
Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
Once you've installed it on your device, click on the option labelled "more" on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
You'll then find an option that says "barcode scanner". Click on this and you'll open a camera screen.
Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
You don't need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.
If this one has left you on the fence, there are always other ways you can make your garden look elegant and sophisticated on the cheap.
Another item available at B&M to help elevate your garden and also give you extra privacy is an Arch Metal Trellis available for just £3.
Not only does the trellis look nice but it's also 62cm tall meaning it can help add privacy.
It's available in two designs - a fleur de lis and a bee pattern - making it a fitting addition to any garden.
A description on the B&M website reads: "Add a decorative focal point to your garden with this Arch Metal Trellis.
"Perfect for climbing plants and flowers."
With temperatures rising in the summer months you can enjoy a relaxing day in the sun without worrying about your neighbours.
A trellis can provide an exciting opportunity for green thumbs to show off their gardening skills with vines and climbing flowers.
It's perfect for growing vegetables like cucumbers, peas and pole beans, as well as flowers like wisteria, clematis and jasmine to add a bit of colour to your garden.
