‘That's another two years on UC then' trolls say as proud nan shows off gender reveal filmed 'round by the bins'

A NAN-TO-BE has taken the internet by storm after proudly sharing her son's gender reveal ''round by the bins''. Following the exciting news that she was going to become a grandma to a baby boy, Sharon Jones took to TikTok where she shared the sweet moment. 2 2 However, despite the wonderful family addition, the clip landed on the so-called wrong side of TikTok, as brutal online trolls declared the child hasn't ''got a chance''. At the start of the video, the grandma could be heard telling the couple - son Ross and his partner Chelsea - to ''twist and turn'' the confetti poppers. After some struggle, Ross finally managed to crack the popper open - with heaps of blue paper shreds announcing the newborn would be a little boy. ''Oh s**t, my eardrum popped,'' the father-to-be said in pain, as he proceeded to help pregnant Chelsea. As Ross was also choking on a teeny paper that had, unfortunately, landed in his mouth, another member of the family - thought to be Sharon's partner - popped the balloon. ''Little boy,'' said the nan-to-be, as she filmed the confetti mess near the family's house, before revealing what her grandson would be named. The potential monikers included Levi, Brandon, Jackson and Vince, with the names all written in blue on a disposable paper plate. However, some social media users reckoned that perhaps it was all one long moniker - Levi Brandon Jackson Vince. Thrilled with the news, the sweet couple posed with the plate - and they had also coincidentally dressed in blue, with Chelsea sporting a light blue sweatshirt and joggers and her partner rocking a hoodie with blue elements. Proud nan Sharon wrote in the caption: ''my son Ross and his partner Chelsea having a gender reveal and it [it's] a boy.'' My gender reveal was totally ruined by the Card Factory - I found out it the worst way ever we were having a boy and left disappointed 'Gender reveal behind the council sheds' Since being uploaded online under the username @ sharonannjones50, the sweet clip has gone viral, amassing over a whopping 1.6million views in just four days. It's also won the nan-to-be more than 51k likes, close to 4k shares, with a further 5,379 people flooding to comments - where the reaction was mainly brutal. The world's most expensive gender reveals GENDER reveals are becoming bigger and more elaborate day by day, with people constantly thinking of different ways to up those before them. And money is no issue for a lot of these couples - with some spending hundreds or thousands on the event. Read on for some of the most expensive gender reveals in history. Ste Hamilton Wealthy property tycoon and YouTuber Ste Hamilton decided to gift his wife-to-be Isabella Rowles with a £300,000 Lamborghini, which would be in either pink or blue to reflect their baby's gender. Steven and Isabella and friends and family attended an extravagant event at the Belfry Hotel and Resort near Birmingham to find out they were having a baby boy. "It was worth every second of the hard work to see the happiness in everyone's faces on the day," Ste said, after spending a further £40,000 on the big reveal. Logan Paul The wrestling star and YouTuber and fiancee Nina Agdal staged a public wrestling match for their gender reveal. A wrestler in pink trunks took on one in blue, with the one in pink emerging victorious - signifying that they are having a baby girl. Inga Stumbriene The Lithuanian influencer hired planes to fly in the sky as she, her fiance and their nearest and dearest watched. The planes dropped a load of blue confetti - revealing the pair were having a boy - but people insisted it was the "most polluted" gender reveal ever. Anonymous couple One of the most recent jaw-dropping gender reveals happened in May 2024, when a couple decided to DYE a waterfall to reveal if they were having a boy or girl. After the videos circulated on the social media, the public demanded for the couple to be punished, with some suggesting they should go to jail. Others were concerned about water contamination, as the pair had used a powdered chemical known as "Blue Lagoon" into the Queima-Pe River, which feeds the waterfall. One TikTok troll wrote: ''Where did you guys do your gender reveal? Oh just round by the bins.'' ''Some kids just haven't got a chance,'' read another mean comment. '' 'My eardrum has popped' That's another two years on universal credit then...'' a third said. ''Gender reveal behind the council sheds,'' someone else penned. Luckily for the new couple and their family it wasn't all vicious trolling, as one kind person hit back at all the keyboard warriors. ''they're all smiling and happy, congrats,'' another said.

Beyonce shocks fans with gender reveal during Cowboy Carter tour... as baby's adorable name is revealed

Beyonce is already a doting mother to Blue Ivy Carter, and twins Rumi and Sir. While the 43-year-old hasn't discussed plans to have more children, she was more than happy to do a gender reveal for some fans at a recent stop on her Cowboy Carter tour. At the end of Wednesday's show in New Jersey, Bey picked out a young couple from the VIP section who had been trying to get her attention throughout the concert. Taking an envelope from the pair, she smiled and opened it before reading out the word, 'cowboy'. 'It's a boy! God bless you. Congratulations! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it,' she gushed. The couple later took to social media to announce that they were naming the unborn child Carson. Their first born is already named Carter, after Beyonce, and their second child is a son named Cade. 'Last night at Beyoncé's concert, she took the time, in the rain, to give us a moment we'll remember forever by doing our gender reveal!' the father wrote on Instagram. 'We are so grateful that she took the time to do that and the boys are gonna be so excited to hear that Beyoncé announced their baby BROTHER to the world!' he continued. 'She saw our sign earlier in the evening right before she was going to start a song and said she'd be back, and she kept her promise at the end of the show! 'Cade is gonna be so happy to finally have a baby to help take care of and Carter is going to be very excited when he sees Bey holding his picture on the sign.' The father-of-three also thanked Beyonce's fanbase, the Beyhive, for supporting him and his wife through their journey. 'The love from the Beyhive has been overwhelming! Thank you for being a part of this chapter with us and THANK YOU again to Beyoncé for going so above and beyond, it was unbelievable,' he finished. Beyonce first born Blue Ivy has been a big part of the Cowboy Carter tour, working as a backup dancer. She's also had youngest daughter Rumi on stage at select stops too. Beyonce and Blue suffered an awkward mishap on stage during one of the Chicago stops of the Cowboy Carter tour last week. While performing the song Protector, Blue, 13, got her earring caught on Beyonce's long blonde hair. The mistake happened as Blue briefly rested her head on her mother. When she tried to pull away, she realized that her jewelry had become completely tangled in Beyonce's hair. Trying not to panic, Blue attempted to separate her earring from the messy mane without disturbing Bey, who was in the middle of crooning along to the song. She eventually managed to pull the difficult feat off, with her mom seemingly none the wiser to the potential debacle. Fans on social media were quick to praise Blue's professionalism, with many saying that she learned it from Beyonce. 'The way Blue removed her earring, Beyoncé looking behind her to check, & blue confirming? THIS IS PROFESSIONALISM,' gushed one. 'Look at lil Mrs professional. I def would have yelled and been dramatic at that age,' added another. A third added, 'She's really good, grown ups can learn a lot from her professionalism.'

Card Factory mess up Mum's gender reveal after she found out in 'worst way ever'

A mum claims her baby's gender reveal was 'ruined' when she found out in the 'worst way ever'. Jess Gildenhuys was in Card Factory's Hardwick Road store in King's Lynn with her husband Josh Gildenhuys, 33, buying her mum a birthday card when the couple spotted gender reveal confetti cannons and balloons for sale. The 33-year-old had just had her 20-week ultrasound that morning, and the doctor put the gender of her baby in an envelope as she was planning on having a gender reveal party with her family. The soon-to-be mum-of-three wanted to buy the items, but first checked with a staff member that the store could ensure the colour of the products could be kept a secret from her and her husband. The retailer have offered their 'sincere apologies' to Jessica (Image: Kennedy News/Google Maps) Jess, owner of her own business, Hello Moon Crystals, claims the staff member told her they could keep the gender a secret from her by removing the labels from the cannons. However, the business owner said that when the couple went to buy the items, the colour of the confetti cannon came up on a screen in front of the till as 'coastal blue.' Jess was 'shocked' and even more frustrated to see the colour of the cannon was visible on the receipt too. She had been looking forward to finding out the gender of her new baby with her two daughters, Jupiter and Athena Gildenhuys, aged six and three. Jess, from King's Lynn, Norfolk, said: "It's the worst way ever to find out the gender of your baby, you couldn't even write it. "You absolutely do not expect your gender reveal to be inside a Card Factory. "I was so shocked. It's hard to be shocked in that situation and keep your cool when you're in a public place. I didn't want to make a big deal of anything. "I've already got two girls. I was convinced this was a girl because I thought I was destined for girls. I'd already bought girl's clothes as well. "It was disappointing because we didn't find out as a family but it's also a funny story to tell I guess. She said she sent Card Factory an email a few days later and said they asked which store this had happened in and that they were sorry for her disappointment. Footage shows the couple using the confetti cannon and balloon at a family party with her family, where their daughters found out they would be getting a new baby brother. But sadly, Jess and Josh already knew the gender of their baby, as for them, the surprise had been ruined. Jess said: "Because this is our last baby for sure, we wanted to make things a bit more fun and do something as a family. "It was disappointing the way we found out. It was ruined in that way. At least it made it fun for everyone else. I am a very positive person in those kinds of situations. "At least it wasn't just me, at least I was with my husband. "I didn't want to say anything to the person at the time either because I didn't want to come across rude or disrespectful or anything. "I just can't believe I'm going to be a boy mum. I'm like, 'oh my god!' "It's exciting though, it'll be fun, I'm sure." She shared a video of her experience on TikTok with the words: "@CardFactoryUK ruining our gender surprise." The situation left viewers divided in the comments. One said: "You can't blame them, they've simply scanned the barcode, not realising it would come up as blue or pink." Another wrote: "Oh dear haha. Maybe next time, get a friend or family member to get the items." A fourth said: "You poor thing. I can't imagine going through such a thing in my whole life. Sending so much sympathy to you and your family." A Card Factory spokesman said: "We've been in touch with Jessica to offer our sincere apologies. "We've also issued reminders to our teams to advise customers that these items can show up on our till screens and receipts. "We would like to try help make amends to Jessica and her family and encourage her to make contact with our customer service team."

In the video, the brother and sister were filmed breaking into a cupcake that contained either pink or blue frosting. Ahead of ripping into their sweet treat, Blake predicted that the new arrival would be a girl – and low and behold she was right. 'It's a girl!' she cried out after seeing that the cupcake was pink inside. 'Is it?' Sean was heard asking. 'You've got pink in there?' 'Yeah!' Blake confirmed. The presenter was joined by her husband Sean Gilmartin and their two children Blake and Nash in the adorable moment which aired on Wednesday 'We're so excited,' Kayleigh said of the news in the studio. 'We as a family are ready to be outnumbered. 'We are moving from man-to-man coverage to zone defense, so we will be outnumbered in our family and it's been a special time.' Kayleigh concluded the segment by reading aloud a Bible verse from Psalm 139. Fox News fans delighted over Kayleigh's sweet gender reveal and sent messages of congratulations. Taking to the comments, one said: 'Congratulations Kayleigh! You have a beautiful family.' 'Thanks for sharing your beautiful news with us,' another said. 'Congratulations to you and your husband and children,' a third added. A fourth added: 'I love this so much!!! I love seeing the difference between your son and daughter with the reveal, so adorable!!' The exciting development comes two months after Kayleigh previously shared news of her pregnancy live on Fox News in March. 'Sean and I are expecting our third child which we're so excited about,' she said at the times, to whoops and cheers from her co-hosts. Kayleigh, who served as White House Press Secretary between April 2020 and the end of President Donald Trump's first term in January 2021, even shared a photo of her ultrasound scan and said she'd been enjoying a 'very special time' with her family. She finished her announcement with two Bible quotes and joked: 'With all that said, can I unbutton my jacket now? 'It's very tight. I'm busting outta here.' Co-host Harris Faulkner, who was sitting on the couch next to Kayleigh, offered congratulations on behalf of the Outnumbered team. Kayleigh then produced a frame of the ultrasound she brought from home and said she has similar frames for her two older children on display there too. In 2023, Kayleigh told that she'd struggled to conceive Nash. In 2020, she had an elective double mastectomy after discovering she carried the BRCA2 gene mutation. It increases the risk of breast cancer by 84 percent and ovarian cancer by 27 percent. She said she and her husband knew they wanted to have a second child shortly after Blake was born in the summer of 2021. Writing in her book Serenity in the Storm, she explained how her first pregnancy had 'happened rather quickly' and 'with relative ease.' But Kayleigh says she began to grow concerned in early 2022 when she still wasn't pregnant. She credits intensive prayer with helping her to conceive Nash.
