Oasis fans stunned by staggering price of a hotel room in Cardiff as chains spike rates ahead of reunion tour
OASIS fans have flocked to Cardiff in their thousands for the first night of the band's reunion tour.
And many will have paid through the nose to secure a comfy bed after belting out a set of sing-along anthems.

The city has the most expensive average price for two adults sharing a room of the five British and Irish cities hosting the band.
Now sitting at £588, prices for a night's stay in the city have shot up by 420 percent, according to
new research from
In just three weeks time, the average cost of a hotel room in the city drops to just £113.
The Gallagher brothers' home city of
Manchester
has the biggest percentage mark-up, with the average cost soaring 454 percent to £421.

remains on par with a usual Friday night at £527, while
Dublin
has the best value of the tour with rooms at an average of £356, up 70 percent.
The research conducted looked at the rates of
hotels
within one mile of each venue on the first night of the scheduled Oasis concert in each city. The rates of the rooms three weeks later were compared with the same day of the week.
It looks like the expense will be worth it though, with Noel Gallagher telling pals 'the band is on fire'.
