Sanam Harrinanan enjoys Love Island themed hen do two years after winning the show as she prepares to marry Kai

SANAM Harrinanan enjoyed a Love Island themed hen do, two years after being crowned as the winner of the show. The former ITV2 personality is preparing to marry her 27-year-old co-star, Kai Fagan. 9 9 Sanam, 27, first rose to fame on the ninth series of Love Island where she entered on day 29. After lasting a further 29 days in the villa, the pair were voted as the winners by the public, taking home the £50,000 prize pot. However, two years after being crowned in the winter series of Love Island in 2023, the duo are set to be married. But before their wedding, Sanam celebrated the forthcoming nuptuals with her gal pals. But in a tribute to the pair meeting on the show, her friends decided to throw her a Love Island themed bash. Going all out for the occasion abroad, her pals decked out their lavish hotel digs with special decorations. Each attendee drank bubbly out of custom plastic white champagne cups with their names written on them. Each chalice contained the same font that is used for each of the water bottles in the villa. There were also other items which included the word 'love' written in a table stand neon light - another tribute to the phrases that appear all over the villa walls. Wall bunting decoration that was also brought in came with palm tree details. I ordered an £8 bag from Shein – it looks super expensive but there's a major flaw with it that no one can work out

SHE thought she had found the perfect bag on Shein. But little did one bargain hunter, Leah Higgins, know that her £8 clutch would come with a major flaw. 2 2 With her hen do around the corner, the bride to-be decided to order a bunch of bags from the China-based marketplace, Shein. Last week, one of them - a stunning pearl clutch for under a tenner - finally arrived, and Leah was amazed by the order. However, unbeknownst to her, the gorgeous accessory had a massive flaw - Leah was not able to open it, no matter how hard she tried. Desperate to solve the mystery, the thrifty fashionista took to TikTok where she sought help. ''Right, this is a shot in the dark. If anyone can help me, please help because I am seriously losing my marbles here. ''I ordered a bunch of bags from Shein for my hen do and one of them has arrived. ''She is stunning, she is everything I imagined she'd be. This looks a lot more expensive than the £8 I paid for her,'' Leah said in the video, showing off the jaw-dropping clutch. ''But when I tell you, for the past hour I've been trying to open this bag and I can't figure it out for the life of me.'' According to the fashion lover, who gave the bag a shake to prove there's a something inside, even her partner had attempted to open it - but with no luck. What's more, he pointed out, there are also no images of the bag open. Despite her hardest attempts to pull the bag open from the middle, Leah (@ leaahhiggins) was unsuccessful and she begged other TikTokers for a helping hand. ''HELP ME IF YOU HAVE THIS BAG PLEASE HELP ME,'' she wrote in the caption of the now-viral video, which has racked up more than 4.6million views in just five days. More than 2,000 viewers flooded to comments to share their suggests - some more hilarious than others. A fashion expert's verdict on buying a wedding dress from Shein Fabulous' Fashion Editor, Clemmie Fieldsend reveals why you shouldn't be shopping at Shein for your wedding dress. "When it comes to your big day, you want to feel your best and look your best. You want to feel special and, more importantly, be comfortable in what you're wearing, are you going to get that from Shein? I doubt it. Look, in an ideal world you're getting hitched to the person of your dreams and what you wear is irrelevant. But let's be honest, it's kind of a big deal. If you're spending your hard earned cash on food, drinks, favours and everything else to celebrate you and your partner with your nearest and dearest, you deserve a dress that makes you feel like a million dollars. But a £30 frock from Shein is a gamble. It might be ill fitting, it might be badly made or just the complete opposite to what you expected. High street bridal dresses are ten a penny these days with brands such as Asos, Karen Millen and even Primark selling bridal wear. Make a day out of it and hit your local high street or shopping centre to try on as many as you can until you find 'the one', don't wait for the postman to deliver disappointment." One joked: ''It's voice activated just say open sesame and there you go.'' Another advised: ''The gold thing push it as in away from you, it should open. if it don't turn it around and try again.'' A third fashionista commented: ''I have just bought this! It's magnetic so pull the sides apart, hold the gold top thing and pull the other side of the hard shell.'' After taking the internet by storm, Leah also posted a follow-up video where she revealed some people had told her to ''crack it like a nut''. ''And once you open it once, it will just continue open because the magnet is so strong on the inside that you just kind of have to loosen it a little bit. In the update clip, Leah placed a pair of tweezers in the teeny opening in the middle, as she pulled the two parts apart - and was gobsmacked when the clutch finally opened. Although she was then scared to close it, the clutch now opened with no problem - and the mystery was finally solved.

Woman Fears ‘Everyone' Will Hate Her as She Plans to Ask for More Money for Her Sister's Bachelorette

The woman said it's not the first time that she's had to ask those going to the bachelorette for more money than initially plannedNEED TO KNOW A woman is anxious about asking the bride's friends for more money to attend the bachelorette party that she's planned Explaining the situation on Mumsnet, she revealed it will be the second time that she's increased the price of attending the event "I'm really stressing about asking for the money now as I know everyone is going to be really annoyed," the woman saidA woman is panicking about covering the cost of her sister's bachelorette after telling attendees to contribute the wrong amount of money. The woman explained in a post on Mumsnet that she didn't include the cost of the bride's travel to the bachelorette party when initially working out how much attendees would need to pay. Having previously forgotten to include the cost of taxis and food in the initial price, she said, asking for the bride's travel expenses will now be the second time she's changed the price of attending the event. 'They're all going to hate me, aren't they?!' she wrote, before adding, 'I've never been to a weekend hen do and had no idea that it was my job to organize and cost up literally every aspect of the weekend, but apparently in her circle that's what the organizer does." 'Everyone is also expected to cover every expense for the bride, which I'm flabbergasted by!!!' she continued. The anxious woman revealed that she's unable to cover the remaining expenses for the bachelorette party on her own. 'I'm a SAHM [stay-at-home mom], so I only have a limited budget, so I can't afford to pay for her travel myself, but I'm really stressing about asking for the money now as I know everyone is going to be really annoyed,' she wrote. While responses to the post were divided on whether the attendees should have to cover the cost of the bride's travel, many agreed that the best solution was for the woman to be upfront about her concerns. 'Sounds stressful, but just send the message, you'll probably feel better once it's done and if you can't afford it yourself, it needs to be sent,' one person commented. 'I don't think the bride should be paid for, however…if, as the OP says, this is how it's done in the bride's circle of friends, then the bride may already have contributed to the costs of 8 previous brides in her group going on their hen dos,' another said. 'It would be a bit unfair on her if she were the only one who had to pay for her own.' 'You might have to just take the hit for this one OP [original poster], depending on the people invited & their finances,' one person wrote. 'I have also got a friend's hen do next weekend and of the 12 people going, I know that at least 4 of them would say no or would say yes but then be unable to attend the weekend as a result of having to pay more money at this late stage," the same person continued. 'Lots of people budget quite tightly now, there's no space for unexpected expenses,' they added. Read the original article on People Solve the daily Crossword

Jack P. Shepherd and his fiancée Hanni Treweek got their wedding preparation underway over the weekend, two weeks before they tie the knot. The Celebrity Big Brother winner, 37, and Hanni, 35, who was a colleague of the star's as a storyline writer and researcher on Corrie, will tie the knot on July 26 after getting engaged last June. And as they count down to the big day, Hanni got wedding ready during a girls' day out at The Ivy restaurant for her hen party. Hanni looked stunning in a high-neck white lace mini-dress as she danced the night away to live music. It came after she enjoyed lunch and cocktails at The Ivy, where she posed for snaps with her pals and drank from a giant 'Bride' straw - with her hens all wearing Jack masks. Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday, Hanni also revealed that herself and Jack had been at a lesson for their first dance, as she shared a mirror selfie of the pair in a studio captioned: 'Hungover but dancing through as Mrs Shepherd to be.' She captioned her hen party snaps: 'The non hen party party, two weeks before the wedding. 25 years of a special friendship with these beautiful girlies, how lucky are we. 'I love you all so much, thank you for throwing me a non hen party party it was perfect. The next time I see you I'll be walking down the aisle.' Back in June, Hanni shared a sweet post about her husband-to-be as they celebrated a year since getting engaged. Hanni shared a sweet tribute to her husband as she counted down the days to the nuptials. Sharing a collection of throwback snaps from their trip to the Serengeti where he asked her to be his wife, Hanni wrote: '365 days of being your Fiancée. 51 days until we become Husband & Wife. 'Looking back at the most special memories with you, Tanzania will always hold a special place in my heart ⛺️❤️ Happy one year anniversary. What a magical year it's been ✨.' Resharing the post on his Instagram Story, Jack wrote: 'Happy one year anniversary @hannitreweek. I'm so lucky to call you my future wife.' Jack and Hanni got engaged during a romantic safari holiday in the Serengeti in June 2024. Flashing her sparkling engagement ring, Hannah beamed for the camera before kissing her new fiancé. Captioning the snaps, she gushed: '05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!' Jack and Hanni have been dating since 2017, after meeting on the soap when she worked in the press office. She later became a storyliner on the ITV show, before quitting to work as a fashion influencer. Despite being colleagues, their romance actually began when Jack impressed Hanni at a mutual friend's wedding. Sharing snaps she said: 'Looking back at the most special memories with you, Tanzania will always hold a special place in my heart ⛺️❤️ Happy one year anniversary' Speaking to OK! Magazine in 2020, Jack recalled: 'Then our mutual friends got married and we were both guests at the wedding. 'We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.' The duo then later bumped into each other once again in a Sainsbury's, which led to an exchange of texts and a blossoming romance. He told The Daily Star: 'I texted her afterwards and said 'that was awkward' and she told me she thought she looked a mess and then we started texting from there. 'I actually thought she looked fit – I just saw the girl I fancy wearing Lycra! We quickly went on our first date and we just clicked.'

Steve Jobs' model daughter Eve, 26, celebrates her hen party with a glitzy bash in Capri ahead of her star-studded wedding to British Olympic showjumper Harry Charles

Tech royalty Eve Jobs, daughter of the late Apple founder Steve Jobs, celebrated her hen party in style on the Italian island of Capri, ahead of her August wedding to British Olympic showjumper Harry Charles. The model and equestrian, 26, wore a sparkling white mini dress and veil as she joined a group of girlfriends for the sun-soaked weekend, which included yacht trips, late-night parties, and poolside lounging at a private villa overlooking the sea. In one photo posted to her Instagram account, Eve is seen sitting in a pink-seated buggy with a wide smile as she revels in her pre-wedding antics. 'What a weekend with my favorite girls,' she captioned the post. Among those who liked the photos were Phoebe Gates, daughter of Bill Gates, and Olympic skier Eileen Gu. Guests included a mix of friends from the fashion and equestrian worlds, many of whom appeared in coordinated outfits for both daytime antics and evening celebrations. One image shows the group walking down the steps of a local ristorante, dressed in relaxed resortwear. Another showed them strutting through the cobbled streets of Capri at night, with Eve leading the way in her veil and glittering white dress. The party gathered by the Tyrrhenian Sea at sunset, where Eve posed for photos with a group of close friends, including one shot of her wrapped in the arms of Eden Mack, a creative development assistant at Apple TV+, against a backdrop of dark blue sea and cliffs. At the villa, decorative touches included pink inflatable pool loungers and a floating silver sign reading 'BRIDE' tied with string. The celebration comes just weeks before Eve is due to marry Harry, 25, a gold medallist with the British equestrian team at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The pair confirmed their relationship at the Games and are expected to tie the knot in a private ceremony in the Cotswolds in August. Eve, whose mother is the philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs, is a rising star in both equestrian sport and fashion. She has appeared in campaigns for Louis Vuitton and posed for Vogue while maintaining a competitive showjumping career. Harry, son of former Olympic showjumper Peter Charles, has represented Great Britain internationally and is currently one of the sport's top-ranked athletes. The party gathered by the Tyrrhenian Sea at sunset, where Eve posed for photos with a group of close friends, including one shot of her wrapped in the arms of Eden Mack, a creative development assistant at Apple TV+ 'What a weekend with my favorite girls,' she captioned the post The couple share a passion for horses and are frequently seen supporting each other at events. The Cotswolds wedding is expected to draw a high-profile guest list, with friends and family from both the tech and aristocratic worlds likely to attend. Sources close to the family say invites have gone out to figures from fashion, sport, and business, with speculation that Princess Beatrice and Jennifer Gates may be among the attendees. Eve, a model and show jumper in her own right, has two older siblings and one half-sibling. Reed Jobs, 33, and Erin Jobs, 29, will likely be at the wedding. However it's currently not known if her half sibling Lisa Brennan-Jobs, 47, will attend. Aside from her siblings, Eve has a plethora of high-profile friends descended from other tech billionaires - including Jennifer and Phoebe Gates, the daughters of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who will likely be in attendance. In 2023, Eve was spotted mingling amongst high society's wealthiest members at a gala in New York City, including Rupert Murdoch's ex-wife Wendi Deng, who she struck a pose with for photos, and Lili Buffett, the granddaughter of billionaire investor and philanthropist Warren Buffet. Former US vice president Kamala Harris is also expected to attend the event thanks to her long-time friendship with Eve's mother and one of the richest people in the world, Laurene Powell Jobs. Laurene and Kamala have been friends for more than 20 years, with the billionaire philanthropist backing Kamala's run for US presidency last year, which she eventually lost to President Donald Trump. And while Eve is tech royalty, there may even be real royalty at her and Harry's wedding. According to Tatler, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expected to attend too. On top of Eve's impressive connections, Harry has his own entourage who will surely bring the party. His father is Peter Charles, whose team won Britain's first team jumping gold medal for 60 years at the 2012 London Summer Olympics. His Olympic teammates Scott Brash and Ben Maher may also attend, having claimed victory in team jumping together at the Paris Olympics. No details have been released about Eve's bridal style yet, but a designer collaboration is surely in the works for the fashion model. Eve also frequently appears on front row seats at Paris Fashion Week, attended her first Met Gala in 2022, and is regularly seen at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party wearing designers such as Molly Goddard and vintage Donna Karan. She may even go in another direction entirely and pay tribute to her late father, who died in 2011 when she was just 12 years old, and wear something from his favourite designer, Issey Miyake. The iconic Japanese designer, who died in 2022 at the age of 84, was behind Steve's iconic black turtleneck uniform that 'helped make him the world's most recognisable CEO', according to Gawker. However, neither Eve nor Harry have divulged any details on what their wedding looks will entail at the time or reporting. Eve, a self-described 'horse girl', started riding when she was just six years old and had made some considerable achievements, including winning a bronze medal in the team event at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. She was front and centre to watch Harry win his gold medal last year and shared a loving post on Instagram with the caption: 'TEAM GOLD!!!!!! Beyond proud of you my love!!!!'
