Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Darlington as temperatures to hit 31C
Temperatures are set to soar into the 30s for Darlington today with pollen levels also expected to be high.
The Met Office said it's going to be a "hot day" with the temperature peaking at 3pm.
From 3pm to 5pm, temperatures will reach a scorching high of 31C and the heat will linger until about at 9pm with temperatures of 23C.

The Met Office has predicted today will be a "mostly dry and hot day with sunny spells". It also said there will be generally light winds, although perhaps more breezy and also cooler near coasts.

It did also warn of potential thunderstorms later in the afternoon, but this is not expected to hit Darlington.
And it'll be hot elsewhere too. The North East and North Yorkshire are to see some of the hottest temperatures in the country. Highs of 30C have been forecast in both Bishop Auckland and Ripon.
The Met Office has also warned UV and pollen levels will be high today, before gradually decreasing over the weekend.
