We Found 120+ Of The Best Memorial Day Sales—Here's What To Shop

We updated this story to check all deal prices, and added additional travel deals. The holiday weekend is in full swing—and this year's Memorial Day sales do not disappoint. Our seasoned deal editors have been sorting through discounts for weeks in an effort to track down the biggest savings. So far, we secured several Forbes Vetted exclusive deals, including 27% off a Helix Mattress or a Brooklinen Sheet Set with code FORBES27, as well as an additional 10% off (on top of the 20% sitewide discount) at the beloved sunscreen brand Supergoop using code FORBES10. Other worthwhile sales we've found include up to 70% off furniture and décor at Wayfair and up to 50% off summer-ready styles at Many of this year's best offers are already live and going strong. 'Now that Memorial Day weekend is here, you're not likely to see prices drop much lower than they currently are. So if a deal catches your eye, add it to your cart. We've spotted all-time-low prices on everything from Hoka sneakers to LED face masks,' says supervising deals and coupons editor Kara Cuzzone. With that in mind, we've listed all of the best Memorial Day sales below. During its Memorial Day Sale, Tuft & Needle is offering 20% off the Original Hybrid Mattress, which combines three types of foam and individually wrapped coils to relieve pressure, contour your body and isolate motion. It's also topped with a cooling cover to help ensure plenty of airflow while you snooze. Now through May 27, you can take 20% off this model and the Original Mattress, as well as 40% off bedding (excluding pillows and body pillow covers). Just about every brand you can think of is running a sale this holiday weekend— you could easily spend hours shopping Memorial Day deals. To help you shop efficiently and effectively, our deals editors put together a few tips on how to make the most of Memorial Day sales. It's crucial to go into any major shopping event with a plan. Otherwise, you could forget about an important purchase, or end up tempted by impulse buys. A wish list will help keep you focused and make you less likely to overspend. Most Memorial Day sales are live all weekend. Shopping earlier ensures your favorite items won't go out of stock. There is a chance some retailers may offer special discounts on the holiday itself, but that typically only applies to big-ticket items like mattresses and appliances. Beauty products, clothing, tech and furniture likely won't drop much lower in price between now and May 26. It can be tempting to get sucked in by the first big markdown you see on a product you've been eyeing. But we recommend doing a little extra research to make sure you can't get the same item for less somewhere else. Since many major retailers will be running sales this weekend, it's worth checking a few sites to ensure you're getting the best deal. Shopping through our Memorial Day deal lists is another way to get the best offer—we price check every deal that we recommend to our readers. Memorial Day is always the last Monday in May. This year, it falls on May 26. Historically, Memorial Day has been a great time to save on big-ticket home items like mattresses, patio furniture, major appliances and TVs. In recent years we've also seen an increase in offers from fashion and beauty brands. In short, you can think of the holiday weekend as sort of a mini Black Friday where you can find deals across nearly all product categories. Yes, Amazon is running a Memorial Day Sale this year. During the event, you can save up to 35% on thousands of products from top brands like Bose, Dyson, Hydro Flask and more. Most Memorial Day sales will likely end on May 26 this year. Some retailers may extend their offers through May 27, or even the entire week, but to be safe we recommend shopping before the end of the day on Monday since extensions are never guaranteed. The Forbes Vetted deals team has over 15 years of combined experience researching the best deals online across all categories. Assistant deals editor Jordan Thomas, who wrote this article, has been covering major sale events at Forbes Vetted for nearly three years. Deals editor and co-author Maya Gandara brings over six years of experience as a shopping writer and editor. Before joining Forbes Vetted, she led the shopping vertical at StyleCaster.

Weekend starting off with partly sunny skies

Today: Partly sunny, high 67 Tonight: Mostly clear, low 48 Sunday: Isolated showers, high 70 (54) Memorial Day: Partly cloudy, high 66 (58) Tuesday: Rain showers, high 73 (59) Wednesday: Chance of t-storms, high 74 (58) The holiday weekend begins with partly sunny skies as cool temperatures stick around. The good news is that a center of high pressure south of Ohio will keep weather locally dry continuing a decent break from the rain. During the overnight hours conditions are expected to stay calm and cool. Temperatures will fall to the mid-upper 40s. This is roughly 10 degrees below normal for this time of year. Otherwise, the weather tonight will stay fairly uneventful. Sunday brings in a few more clouds during the day. A few areas may even see an isolated chance for rain showers by the afternoon. Most areas, however, will stay dry. Highs will reach the upper 60s. Calmer conditions and more sunshine return by Memorial Day Monday, but cooler than average temperatures will stick around. More widespread rain makes its way back to central Ohio by Tuesday. The rest of the week will see at least some chances for scattered showers and storms every day. This includes the chance for rain during most of the Memorial Tournament. Temperatures will stay on the cooler side but slowly approach seasonable by next weekend. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
