Bazooka Joe, We Meet Again
Very late one recent night, on the road and worn out from the day, I walked down a hotel hallway to fill my ice bucket. Heading back to the room, I noticed something on the carpet. Even without my glasses, even without kneeling down, I knew what it was. Tiny, snugly wrapped, red-white-and-blue—it was a long-lost friend from summers past. I felt myself grinning.
