BMW unveils four new models in Korea
BMW Group Korea showcased four new models set to launch in the country at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, Korea's largest automotive industry event, on Thursday.
The company presented two BMW electric vehicles — face-lifted models of the i4 M50 xDrive Gran Coupe and iX M70 xDrive sport utility vehicle — alongside two new Mini models, the all-new Mini John Cooper Works Electric and the new Mini Cooper Convertible, from its Mini brand.
The unveiling took place at the press day event of its booth in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the company, the face-lifted BMW models feature a sportier design and advanced in-car technology to enhance the driving experience over its previous models. The i4 M50 xDrive offers a driving range of 522 kilometers on a single charge, while the iX M70 xDrive delivers up to 600 kilometers, both based on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure, a global standard for electric range of passenger cars.
The new Mini models incorporate a more refined and minimalist design. In particular, the Mini JCW integrates motorsport-inspired drivetrain innovations to deliver a more dynamic driving experience.
'BMW Group Korea will continue to bring the core values of the BMW Group to life by introducing models that deliver an enjoyable driving experience while driving innovation for a better future,' said Han Sang-yoon, CEO of BMW Group Korea.
