UAE: ADNIC's net profits exceed $64mln in H1-25
Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) reported AED 235.28 million in net profits after tax in the first half (H1) of 2025, higher than AED 205.17 million in H1-24. Insurance revenues increased to AED 4 billion in H1-25 from AED 3.29 billion in the first six months (6M) of 2024, according to the interim financial results. Earnings per share (EPS) hit AED 0.40 as of 30 June 2025, compared to AED 0.36 in H1-24. Results for Q2 In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, ADNIC's net profits stood at AED 115.71 million, marking a year-on-year (YoY) rise from AED 104.22 million. The ADX-listed company generated insurance revenues amounting to AED 1.98 billion in April-June 2025 as compared to AED 1.73 billion in the same period last year. The EPS climbed to AED 0.20 in Q2-25 from AED 0.18 in Q2-24. Haris Mylonas, CEO of ADNIC, commented: 'Our achievements in H1-25 reflect ADNIC's commitment to intelligent underwriting, efficient cost management, and strategic evolutionary growth.' Saudi Re posts 17% higher profits in H1-25; revenues cross $196.7mln
Saudi Reinsurance Company (Saudi Re) generated net profits after Zakat attributable to shareholders worth SAR 87.99 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, up 16.89% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 75.27 million. Insurance revenues soared by 52.93% to SAR 738.18 million in H1-25 from SAR 482.69 million in H1-24, according to the financial results. The earnings per share (EPS) amounted to SAR 0.76 as of 30 June 2025, against SAR 0.84 in the year-ago period. Financials for Q2 In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, Saudi Re's net profits hiked by 20.92% to SAR 52.58 million from SAR 43.48 million in Q2-24. Insurance revenues stood at SAR 414.77 million in April-June 2025, an annual leap of 50.42% from SAR 275.74 million a year earlier. Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), the Q2-25 net profits jumped by 48.50% compared to SAR 35.40 million in Q1-25, whereas the insurance revenues grew by 28.25% from SAR 323.40 million. Egypt: Bupa Arabia's profits fall to $13.8mln in H1-25; revenues up 2%
Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company delivered 12.76% lower net profits after Zakat attributable to shareholders at SAR 666.48 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, compared to SAR 764.02 million in H1-24. Insurance revenues increased by 2.11% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 9.12 billion in the first six months (6M) of 2025 from SAR 8.93 billion, according to the interim financial results. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 4.46 in H1-25, an annual decline from SAR 5.10. Results for Q2 In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the net profits of Bupa Arabia shrank by 29.25% to SAR 286.25 million from SAR 404.60 million in Q2-24. Meanwhile, the insurance revenues hit SAR 4.71 billion in Q2-25, reflecting a YoY increase of 3.36% from SAR 4.56 billion.
