Fetterman Defends Job Performance as Health Concerns Persist
BOSTON—Sen. John Fetterman dismissed questions about his job performance and mental health as an ideologically motivated smear campaign, saying it was time to move on from what he cast as a manufactured scandal.
'For me, it's very clear, it's just part of this weird smear, this thing,' Fetterman (D., Pa.) said at a joint event with his delegation partner, Sen. Dave McCormick (R., Pa.). 'I'm here. I'm doing that job. I'm defending on all those things and all of those important votes. I've always been there.'
