The Bold and the Beautiful fans are speaking out after painful scenes involving a legacy character. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was not acting like himself in recent scenes on the CBS soap.
After months of being off-screen, Bill returned and was a shell of himself, letting Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Hope (Annika Noelle), and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) rip into him. It was not the Dollar Bill Spencer fans know, that's for sure.X was on fire, with The Bold and the Beautiful fans ranting about the way the legacy character is being written on the show.
'The original Dollar Bill Spencer is gone. The writers officially ruined him to prop,' wrote an X. Another X read, 'Why are the writers rewriting history. Bill loves his children. These scenes today are ridiculous.'
A different fan declared, 'This is really pissing me off…I can't #Bill Spencer would never take this from would knock him down to get to his son!!!' One fan asked, '#BoldandBeautiful Will the real Dollar Bill Spencer please stand up and tell all these losers to F off.'

There was an X that read, 'First of all, @BandB_CBS ✍️ why in the h--l's 🔔 is $Bill seeking permission from a waffling, cheating dressmaker, to see his son?! Knock his a-- out of your way, $Bill go to the nurses station, and ask to see your kid.' A fan wondered, 'Where are they coming up w this narrative w Bill???'
One fan called what was happening with Bill 'gross' and hopes he 'cusses' Hope (Annika Noelle), Steffy, Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) out.
'DD's acting was incredible & before I loved to hate Bill Jr. I don't recognize Bill anymore. Some of the actors don't want to come back ´cause the writing of their characters is a disgrace. I wouldn't be mad if DD left, seeing as how his character became a flop,' insisted a fan on X.

Not everyone was upset about how Bill was written and treated in recent scenes. One fan thought he deserved the lashing because he got Luna (Lisa Yamada) out of prison.
A fan shared on X, 'Bill character deserved tongue lashings today. He got Luna released & pardoned then suddenly kicked vulnerable Luna to curb to fend for herself. Bill said hateful things to son Liam (far beyond constructive criticism) that he can't take back. Bill=jerk.'
Now that Bill knows that Liam (Scott Clifton) has a brain tumor, The Bold and the Beautiful fans should see more of the character. Here's hoping the real Bill returns to save his son, not the sap we saw the past few days.
