Ontario Provincial Police say they were called to the single-vehicle crash on Highway 516 in Sioux Lookout around 6:45 p.m. Police say the bus was carrying more than 30 adult passengers who were planting trees in the area. They say 25 people were taken to hospitals for medical treatment. One person is reported to have sustained 'life-altering injuries.' Police say they continue to investigate the incident. (Source: OPP Central Region) Ontario Provincial Police say a woman suffered 'life-altering injuries' in a rollover crash on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory on Thursday. The crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Highway 49, north of Lower Slash Road, OPP said. The woman was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to regional trauma centre to be treated for her serious injuries. The man driving the vehicle was also hospitalized. Highway 49 was closed for several hours for an investigation but has since reopened, OPP said. The Tyendinaga Police Service and the OPP continue to investigate.

Police say a woman has suffered life-altering injuries in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Calgary. It happened Wednesday evening, just before 7 p.m., on Stoney Trail at Glenmore Trail. According to police, the vehicle the woman was driving struck a semi-trailer and her vehicle rolled over. She was extricated from her vehicle and taken to hospital. Police say a woman has suffered life-altering injuries in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Calgary, on Stoney Trail at Glenmore Trail. Shortly after 7 p.m. on X, YYC Transportation said the northbound-to-westbound exit ramp was blocked. Later, YYC Transportation said northbound Stoney Trail was closed. As of 9:30 p.m., police said road closures related to the crash remained in effect. Investigation into what exactly caused the crash is ongoing.
