I got my lip filler dissolved – my lips ‘exploded' and people say I ended up looking like a character from Monsters Inc

A WOMAN was left looking like a character from the animated movie Monsters Inc after getting her lip filler dissolved. The recent months have seen plenty of beauty buffs having epic glow-downs and embracing their natural features - which also means getting rid of their juicy pouts. 3 3 However, for one woman, Kimia Ahwazi, the journey to a more natural appearance went horribly wrong after she got her lip filler dissolved. Taking it to TikTok, the young dark-haired beauty shared a series of selfies after the procedure - which, she joked, caused her lips to ''explode''. Following the treatment, Kimia, thought to be from the Netherlands, noticed significant swelling - which is a normal side effect. This is because when filler is injected or dissolved, the body reacts to the minor trauma by releasing white blood cells, which causes inflammation and swelling, warned the experts at Karidis Clinic. ''The lips are particularly susceptible because there are so many blood vessels. '' Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are also more prone to swelling as they act as humectants, attracting 1,000 times their weight in moisture,'' they explained. However, nothing could prepare the Dutch beauty for what was to come, as mortified Kimia said it kept ''getting worse''. ''Was literally about to explode,'' Kimia said in the now-viral video, where her pout had ballooned up around three to four times its normal size. Horrified by what she was seeing in the camera, the beauty buff said she even considered taking drastic measures and was ''about to sue someone''. Checking out her reflection, Kamia, who posts under the username @ kimiaahwazi, even went was far as comparing herself to '' Marge Simpson ''. I'm so obsessed with filler that my huge lips touch my nose - trolls can't understand what I'm saying, but I don't care Despite the jaw-dropping results, Kamia tried to cheer herself up by ''overlining them for the vibes'' - and bizarrely confessed she even ''started to like the plump''. 'Quack if you need help' Since being posted online, the clip has taken the internet by storm, winning the beauty buff a whopping 3.1million views, over 95k likes and 11k shares. What are the risks of lip fillers? THE RISKS of dermal fillers depend on whether the procedure was done correctly and the type of filler used. The NHS recommends you speak to your practitioner about the risks beforehand. Serious problems are rare but can include: Infection A lumpy appearance under the skin, which might need to be treated with surgery or medicine The filler moving away from the intended treatment area, which may need to be removed using surgery Scarring Blocked blood vessels in the face, which can cause tissue death and permanent blindness You should see your GP if you have any complications that need medical attention and speak to your practitioner if you're not happy with the results or experience lumpiness. Source: NHS Close to an astronomical 800 people flooded to comments, many totally gobsmacked. One person wished her a speedy recovery - whilst also comparing her to a famous Monsters Inc character, Fungus. ''Not to be rude but.. Know that scream extractor scene in Monsters Inc? Yeah.. Hope you're doing better.'' Another joked, writing sarcastically: ''Amazing! Very natural effect, I hope this is what you were looking for.'' Meanwhile, someone else thought she belonged in the gang of iconic childhood dolls.

Courtney Stodden shows off her 'radical' pout after removing lip fillers and embracing a more natural look

Courtney Stodden proudly showed off her 'smaller' lips after revealing she'd removed her fillers. The TV personality, 30, shared her new look on Instagram as she opened up on her journey of embracing a new look after years of inflating her lips. She said: 'I started getting lip filler at 17. Back then, I truly believed I had to change myself to be accepted - even by me. I didn't give myself the chance to love who I really was.' SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO Courtney added: 'I was chasing perfection, running from insecurity, and hiding behind enhancements. 'But recently, I made a decision that felt radical: I completely dissolved my lips! They feel small, but real! 'And I absolutely love them this way. For the first time, I'm beginning to learn that I am enough. 'This isn't about rejecting beauty - it's about redefining it on my own terms. I've learned that real confidence isn't in what we add, but in what we choose to embrace. 'To anyone who feels like they need to change to be enough: you don't. You already are.'

I'm so obsessed with filler that my huge lips touch my nose – trolls can't understand what I'm saying, but I don't care

A WOMAN has left people stunned after showing off her plump pout which is so big that her lips touch her nose. Sarah-Jane has long been a fan of filler, and goes bigger virtually every time she goes. 4 4 4 And in her latest TikTok video, she debuted her new lips after her most recent appointment. "God forbid a girl gets her lip filler done and God forbid she gets them so big that they touch her nose," she said in the video. "God forbid!" But trolls almost immediately flooded the comments section criticising Sarah-Jane's new look, with some admitting they can't even understand what she's saying because of the size of her lips. "Can't hear you - you're mumbling!" one wrote. "I really can't understand a word and that's not having a go, it's fact," another added. "Thought she was saying go to bed!" a third laughed. "You can barely talk because of those baboon lips," someone else sighed. While others took aim at the aesthetician that had allowed Sarah-Jane to have so much filler. "Whoever did this for you shouldn't be allowed to practice anymore," one sighed. I feel sorry for myself but trolls were right - I was Quagmire but Zoe saved me from destroying my face, says Molly-Mae "That's the problem it's not well regulated in the UK, so literally anyone can do these basically medical procedures to your face in their shed or whatever," another added. "I'm disgusted at the person that does the lip filler because she obviously isn't certified to carry on filling these lips with filler.," someone else said. "Should be a crime!" "I'm all for making yourself feel good but this shouldn't be allowed," another commented. "Whoever is doing this needs to be investigated!" However, there were those in the comments section who defended Sarah-Jane, insisting she's more than entitled to do whatever she wants to her face. Source: NHS "Honestly don't know why people hating," one said. "She's happy doing what she wants just leave the women alone she's happy." "If it makes you feel good and confident go for it, it's not our business," another added. "Exactly. It's her very own preference!" a third wrote.

Love Island star unrecognisable after dissolving her lip, cheek and chin filler as she shows off VERY dramatic snaps

A LOVE Island star looks unrecognisable after dissolving her lip, cheek and chin filler while leaving fans stunned with the before and after snaps. Liana Isadora Van-Riel was an Islander in the second season of the revived series of Love Island which aired in 2016. 6 6 She entered the villa on the 20th day of the episode, and was dumped on day 33. The former Islander, who is now 29 years of age, welcomed a child recently after quitting stripping and social media. And now she's completely altered her appearance after getting her face filler dissolved. Taking to TikTok after revealing she had quit Instagram earlier this year, Liana shared a candid before and after shot. "Feel self conscious now I've dissolved my lip, cheek and chin filler," she penned over the top of a recent snap where she looked more natural than she has done in the past. She then shared a snap of herself before getting her filler dissolved and wrote: "Until I remember how bad my filler blindness was." The difference between the snaps was stark, with Liana's face looking more natural and less puffy in the first snap. Meanwhile, the second snap saw her face looking puffier and more inflated. Fans were stunned by the before and after snaps, with them quick to comment on the stark difference. "Holy hell! JUMPSCARE! You 100% made the RIGHT decision," said one person in the comments section. Controversial Love Island star reveals she's secretly become a mum Another person wrote: "Ngl that was a bit of a jumpscare, dissolving them was THE move omg." A third person said: "First photo, stunning beauty. the old filler photo, jump scare. save your face and money, never get fillers again. you are naturally gorgeous and I'd spend money to look like you." While a fourth penned: "Filler blindness, eyebrow blindness, eyelash blindness, tanning blindness.. so happy you can see now! Natural and beautiful!" A fifth then said: "Hey you're gorgeous let's not do that again.. okay?" What are the risks of lip fillers? Source: NHS And a sixth wrote: "I cannot understand why a Dr would take fillers that far??? "It should not be allowed." When Liana appeared on Love Island nine years ago, she was coupled up with Adam Maxted. The pair were then separated when they were voted as one of the weakest couples by the rest of the Islanders on the show. Liana and Tom Powell, another hunk who she coupled up with, then received the fewest votes from the public and left the island. Liana revealed some of the things fans don't see on the show. She told The Sun: "You're completely cut off.' "They give you these basic little phones where you can text each other but nobody really uses them, they're only really there for the whole 'I've got a text' aspect." Liana was a stripper before going into the villa but has since quit her former job. It is not clear if Liana is in a relationship, but she regularly shares posts about her baby daughter and how she navigates motherhood. And in a recent post she gave a glimpse at her relationship status and said: "To any girls dating a guy who has a baby under one. RUN. "I promise you if he can leave the mother of his child at the most vulnerable time of her life, he can do so much worse to you. "And if she left him, even worse cause NO woman would choose to do that first year postpartum alone unless there's a seriously good reason to not have that man around." 6 6 6
