In recent years, I've come to appreciate coffee much more than I did as a regular Starbucks Vanilla Latte drinker (no hate, they're still delicious). I've started to branch out into the world of local coffee shops and small-batch beans, and the flexibility that comes with learning how to craft my own beverages at home. Article content Article content Article content Setup of this De'Longhi espresso machine was pretty quick and simple, as the touch screen displayed step-by-step instructions to get started. The machine walks you through everything from attaching the coffee bean hopper to running a pre-clean cycle and creating user profiles. Since my husband and I will both be using this machine, we created separate profiles where we can each save our favourite drinks, intensity settings and bean preferences. All in all, we went from unboxing the machine to drinking a trial espresso in about 15 minutes.
