The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is expected to release the results for the 2nd PUC or Class 12 (Exam 3) for the year 2025 shortly. To pass the Karnataka PUC II Exam 3, students must secure at least 33 per cent marks. Those who fall short of this requirement will receive grace marks, with teachers allowed to grant up to 5 per cent. The Karnataka PUC II Exam 3 was held from June 9 to 21.

The Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2 was conducted from April 24 to May 8, 2025, at 332 centres across the state. Out of the 1,94,077 students who appeared, 60,692 passed. Furthermore, 71,964 students retook the exam to improve their scores, with 41,719 succeeding. The results were announced on May 16. In Exam 2, the pass rate for girls was 36.38 per cent, while boys had a pass rate of 34.34 per cent. The science stream recorded a pass rate of 35.14 per cent, commerce had 35.74 per cent, and the arts stream had the lowest pass rate at 25.38 per cent.
What happened in Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 1?
In Exam 1, the pass percentage was 73.45 per cent. In the Arts stream, 1,53,043 students appeared, with 81,553 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 53.29 per cent. In the Commerce stream, 2,03,429 students took the exam, and 1,55,425 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 76.07 per cent. The Science stream performed the best, with 2,80,933 students appearing and 2,31,461 passing, leading to a pass percentage of 82.45 per cent.
