Her accessories included a large pair of white sunglasses and a printed bandana headband. A navy blue baseball cap decorated with the letters "USA" and an American flag emblem could be seen sitting on the bathroom counter. Simpson's selfie was fittingly soundtracked by the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers classic "American Girl." The fashion mogul has been having a little fun with her personal style lately. On May 31, she tried out a goth glam look for a night out to the We Matter x Limitless Mental Health Dinner in Los Angeles. Her ensemble featured a black satin mini slip dress with lingerie-inspired lace trim around the bust. She amped up her look by wearing a black feathered cropped jacket over the dress, along with black sheer stockings and black pointy-toe platform boots. A ring adorned with two large turquoise stones added a pop of bright color to her all-black fashion moment. Simpson also recently shook things up by making a change to her signature blonde hair. While making a special appearance during the season 23 finale of American Idol on May 18, the mom of three debuted freshly dyed dirty blonde hair with sun-kissed highlights. Her longtime hair guru and friend, celebrity colorist Rita Hazan, described Simpson's new shade to PEOPLE as "desert sunset blonde." According to Hazan, Simpson "loved" her new hair color. "She was so happy to get a new look and switch it up," Hazan said. The Irish singer appeared in good spirits in her most recent Instagram post, just a few months after her ex-husband Ben Foden announced he's returning to the UK after living in the US for the last six years. The news was welcomed by The Saturdays singer, who earlier in March opened about her struggle with him living so far away from their two children. 'I'm excited to announce that I will be returning to the UK to take on the role of Director of Rugby at Scarborough College and Head Coach for Scarborough RFC, starting September 1st,' Ben previously announced on Instagram. The former rugby player has been living in the US for the last six years with his wife Jackie and their daughters Farrah, four, and Olympia, 12 months. 'This is an incredible opportunity to reconnect with family and immerse myself once again in the rugby world,' he added. 'As I step into this role, my goal is to help drive the growth and development of Scarborough College's rugby program, ensuring it competes at the highest level alongside the top schools in the region.' Una, 43, recently split from her jockey boyfriend Aidan Coleman, and shares Aoife, 12, and Tadhg, 10, with Ben. After the news emerged of her split from Aidan, she was pictured with newly-single co-star Danny Cipriani leaving in a taxi together at the Celebrity Bear Hunt premiere afterparty. Speaking earlier this month about Ben to OK! Magazine, Una said: 'It's unfortunate that he lives so far away. We don't have the 'every other weekend' set-up. 'It's a privilege to be part of that journey, and I'm excited to contribute to the future of rugby in this vibrant community. 'Rugby has profoundly shaped my life, providing me with countless experiences, lessons, and memories that I will always treasure. 'While I have truly valued the time spent away from the sport, I have come to realize that nothing can replace the unique emotions, challenges, and excitement that being involved in rugby brings.
