FBI Has Secret Epstein Prison Tape With No ‘Missing Minute'
The FBI has a version of the surveillance video filmed near Jeffrey Epstein's prison block on the night of his death that—unlike the video released to the public—is not missing a minute of footage. Earlier this month, the Department of Justice released nearly 11 hours of CCTV footage taken inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center intended to show that Epstein had died by suicide. The Trump administration immediately faced questions about why the time code displayed in the video indicated that the minute before midnight was not included in the clip. The DOJ said the 'full raw' clip would have captured anyone entering Epstein's cell the night he died, but forensic analysis showed the video was edited repeatedly over several hours, with about a minute of footage missing. Now, government sources say the FBI, Bureau of Prisons, and DOJ inspector general all possess a copy of the video that contains the infamous 'missing minute,' CBS News reported. It's still not clear what that minute shows or why it was missing from the video the DOJ released, according to CBS. The FBI and the DOJ declined to comment, and the Bureau of Prisons told the network it 'had no additional information to provide.' The missing minute has been fodder for conspiracy theorists who believe Epstein—who was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges when he died the night of Aug. 9-10, 2019—was murdered to protect his powerful clients and associates. Attorney General Pam Bondi explained away the discrepancy in the video by saying that the system resets every night, 'so every night should have that same missing minute.' She hasn't shared any other footage confirming that explanation, though, and surveillance video experts told CBS that resets aren't a feature of most video systems. The footage was taken in a cell block in the Special Housing Unit where Epstein was held at the MCC. The block is near Epstein's cell, but doesn't show it. Instead, a common area and set of stairs leading to various 'tiers,' one of which held Epstein's cell, are visible in the back third of the frame. The FBI found that cameras directly outside Epstein's cell had malfunctioned the night he died. According to the FBI and the DOJ, anyone attempting to access the tier containing Epstein's cell from the common area would have been visible in the footage. But Julie K. Brown, the Miami Herald reporter whose reporting exposed Epstein in 2017 and 2018, told CNN's Jake Tapper earlier this month that there were actually other entrances to Epstein's wing besides the one shown on camera. 'It's quite possible that someone from another part of that area could have gone up into his cell,' she said. 'We don't know because we don't have anything on his cell door. The doors they show in that video are not of his cell.' The Daily Beast has contacted the DOJ and FBI for comment. The Epstein controversy has consumed the Trump administration for weeks after the DOJ and the FBI issued a memo earlier this month stating conclusively that the disgraced financier did not have a 'client list' and died by suicide. Those conclusions angered many of the president's own supporters, who expected the administration to provide bombshell revelations in the case. Trump himself was friends with Epstein for more than a decade before the two had a falling out in the early 2000s. On Monday, Trump contradicted a previous claim from his White House that he had cut ties with Epstein because the financier was a 'creep,' suggesting their relationship actually ended because Epstein 'stole' Trump's staff. He also said that he had 'never had the privilege' of visiting Epstein's private Caribbean island.

Mysterious ‘missing minute' from Epstein jail tape FOUND by FBI as conspiracy theories rage over paedo & his pals
THE mysterious "missing minute" from the Jeffrey Epstein jail tape has been found after conspiracy theorists raged over how the vile billionaire died. The FBI has a version of the surveillance footage filmed near the convicted paedo's prison block on the night of his death - and it isn't missing any seconds. 11 11 11 11 Around 11 hours of "full raw" CCTV footage released by the Department of Justice (DoJ) revealed Epstein's final moments inside the Metropolitan Correctional Centre in New York City on August 9 and 10 in 2019. It intended to show the vile billionaire had died by suicide as conspiracy theories raged over his death. But forensic analysis showed the video was edited numerous times over several hours - with a minute missing. The time code on the screen had jumped forward just before it struck midnight. When attorney General Pam Bondi was questioned about the video a few weeks ago, she claimed the Bureau of Prisons told her it was an antiquated process that occurred every night when the recordings automatically reset. Now government sources say the FBI, Bureau of Prisons, and DoJ inspector general all have a copy of a video that contains the bombshell "missing minute," CBS News reports. It currently remains unclear what the minute shows or why it was missing from the video released by the DoJ, the broadcaster added. The FBI and the DoJ declined to comment - meanwhile the Bureau of Prisons said it "had no additional information to provide". The missing minute sent conspiracy theorists into a spiral as they believe Epstein was murdered to protect his powerful elite clients and pals. He was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges when he died. Trump blasts 'are we still talking about this creep-' over Epstein as mystery swirls around 'missing CCTV & client list' CCTV released a few weeks ago from inside the prison showed a grey-haired Epstein handcuffed in an orange jump suit being led to his cell by a guard at about 7.49pm. The pair moved down a small flight of stairs on the left of the frame and walk to the right across the common area as they head to the cell. Footage didn't show Epstein's cell door but it would capture anyone walking to it, the DoJ said. Other than the guard leaving, no one walked across the common area towards Epstein's cell or away from it. At approximately 10.39pm, a guard appeared to walk in the direction of Epstein's cell and then reappeared within view of the camera at 10.41pm. This is believed to be the last time anyone entered the area of Epstein's cell before the next morning. Guards could then be seen walking around the common area at around 6.30am on the 10th as they deliver breakfast. At approximately 6.33am, more guards enter the common area and walk towards the area of Epstein's cell - presumably after he was found dead in his cell. 11 11 11 The disgraced financier was found hanged in jail on the 10th, but speculation has been rife that others were involved. FBI deputy director Dan Bongino pledged to release the footage after it had been a Donald Trump campaign promise. Bongino wants to end all debate by releasing proof that no one entered or left the cell before the suicide. The FBI has now concluded Epstein died by suicide and that he had no "client list" used to blackmail powerful figures, Axios reports. Investigators found "no credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals" and no "evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties". The video also supports a medical examiner's findings that Epstein died by suicide. Esptein pal Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related offences. She'll now be the only Epstein associate to face prison as the FBI said no more people would be charged. Prince Andrew, 64, paid millions to Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre in an out-of-court settlement three years ago, while denying sexual assault accusations. He stayed at Epstein's New York home, and was accused of taking part in an 'underage orgy' on Epstein's Caribbean island. In 2020, the FBI asked the Home Office for help to quiz Andrew but that investigation was paused last year. Attorney general Pam Bondi released hundreds of pages of information connected to Epstein in March, promising it would disclose "a lot of names" and flight logs that would "make you sick". 11 11 11 But the much-awaited release of flight logs and more was overhyped by Bondi and fell flat. Elon Musk has also accused Trump of being in the files after the pair's relationship broke apart. Musk provided no evidence and later deleted the post saying he went "too far". Depraved Epstein was found unresponsive by guards in his cell who quickly performed CPR before he was taken to hospital. He was pronounced dead shortly after with it ruled as suicide by hanging - which was later challenged by his own lawyers. The jail had been told Epstein should have a cellmate, and that a guard must check on him every 30 minutes. But on the night he died, his cellmate was transferred and not replaced and he was not checked on as often as required. Two guards fell asleep at their desks - and later falsified their records. Meanwhile, two cameras in front of Epstein's cell malfunctioned that night - while another's footage was "unusable". Protocol was also broken by removing Epstein's body from his cell and failing to photograph it as it was found. The Bureau of Prisons mandates that suicide scenes be treated with the "same level of protection as any crime scene in which a death has occurred". Epstein's death came just two weeks after another apparent suicide attempt when he was found unconscious with a bedsheet twisted round his bruised neck. I came face-to-face with Epstein & I'm convinced he DIDN'T kill himself By Chief Foreign Reporter, Katie Davis JEFFREY Epstein's "overly self-confident nature" has made a lawyer who represented his victims doubt whether he took his own life. Spencer Kuvin, who met Epstein several times, said the shamed criminal never thought he had done anything wrong - and arrogantly believed he wouldn't be jailed. He told The Sun: "From the times I met him and deposed him, and sat in mediations with him, he never, ever struck me as someone who questioned whether he had done anything wrong. "He was always overly self-confident in what he had done and his belief that he had never done anything inappropriate at all, ever. "There was never any inclination that he ever felt he wasn't going to get out. "He always felt 'this is something I got to go through, I'll be out of here in a flash, it's not a big deal'. "So it was rather surprising to me when he died in jail." When asked whether he thought Epstein was murdered, Mr Kuvin said: "I don't know. I'm not one for wild speculation. "I deal in reality and proof and evidence. "And what I could tell you is that the evidence is circumstantial but overwhelming that it was not suicide."

Dan Bongino ‘may step down from FBI'
The justice department and FBI on Monday released the 11-hour video in an effort to dispel rumours that the sex offender was murdered, but Maga hardliners noticed time stamps on the video skipped from 11.58pm to midnight, leading some to suspect foul play had taken place during what has been called the 'missing minute'. The discovery of the 'missing minute', caused by a lag when the surveillance system resets each evening, was blamed internally on Mr Bongino for his oversight, insiders told Axios. Despite the DoJ presenting it as 'raw' footage, it has since been claimed the video was likely modified using a professional editing tool, according to Metadata analysis by Wired. 'The fact is, Dan was for releasing the information with the video and had no problem until he got heat online,' a senior administration official told the news outlet. 'Bongino found the video with the missing minute. He vouched for it after a 'thorough review,'' he said, 'and he thought this would end the matter. When that didn't work, he lost his mind and ran out of DC'. Prospect of potential sackings The White House blow up is the clearest sign yet of turmoil within the administration over its handling of the Epstein files, and raises the prospect of potential sackings. One Bongino supporter told Axios: 'Dan is not the bad guy here. He shouldn't take the fall.' It comes as Maga firebrand Laura Loomer claimed Mr Bongino was 'seriously thinking about resigning'. He has not commented on Ms Loomer's claims. Ms Loomer, also wrote on X that Mr Bongino and Mr Patel were 'furious' with Ms Bondi over her 'lack of transparency' and called for the attorney general to be fired. On Friday, Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, sought to quell rumours of a split, writing on X that he 'worked closely with Patel and Bongino on the joint FBI and DoJ memo regarding the Epstein files'. 'All of us signed off on the contents of the memo and the conclusions stated in the memo,' he said. 'The suggestion by anyone that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo's composition and release is patently false.'
