‘Gundam' Comes To ‘Call Of Duty: Mobile' And Actually Looks Good

'Call of Duty: Mobile' will feature Gundams in an upcoming season. Following the weird Gundam cosplay setup in the regular Call of Duty, the Mobile version has seemingly gotten it right in a new update. In that, instead of trying to turn people into mecha, they have just put the mecha in the game as is. The list of mobile suits is as follows: Freedom Gundam, Deathscythe Gundam (Endless Waltz), and both the Nu Gundam and the Sazabi. While the trailer (shown below) and official site call the Sazabi a 'Gundam', that seems to be more of a banana peel slip-up, and as irritating as it may be, it is a minor issue. Especially when the good news is that the modeling for each of the mobile suits looks great and is properly Chinese with it. Just like the Metal Build toys, which I am entirely onboard with. This is because Call of Duty: Mobile is developed by TiMi Studio Group, which is a subsidiary of Tencent and is subsequently based in China. As with all Call of Duty: Mobile updates, you also get some special guns for each of the mobile suits included, and those designs also look great. In any case, I am just glad someone is doing a Gundam gaming collaboration properly and actually showing respect to the original designs. Sea Limited vs. Take-Two Interactive: Which Gaming Stock has an Edge?

Sea Limited SE and Take-Two Interactive TTWO are well-known video game providers. While SE's Garena Free Fire is hugely popular, TTWO rides on franchises including Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and Red Dead Redemption. Both stocks have been benefiting from rising consumer spending on mobile games, which, per SensorTower, reached approximately $6.85 billion in May, reflecting a 5.4% increase on a monthly basis. Per Statista, video game revenues are expected to see a CAGR of 7.01% between 2025 and 2030, hitting $733.22 billion, with mobile game revenues witnessing a CAGR of 5.4% to hit $163.98 billion by 2030. This offers major growth opportunities for both Sea Limited and Take-Two Interactive. So, SE or TTWO, which of these gaming stocks has the greater upside potential? Let's find out. The Case for SE Stock Sea Limited is riding on strong Garena (Digital Entertainment) revenues, which increased 8.2% year over year to $495.6 million in the first quarter of 2025. Bookings soared 51.4% year over year to $775.4 million, driven by the success of SE's flagship game, Free Fire. According to SensorTower, Garena Free Fire was the second most downloaded mobile game globally in May 2025, driven by the game's growing popularity in markets like India, Brazil and Indonesia. Garena's collaboration with Naruto Shippuden contributed to increased user engagement. While quarterly active users increased 11.3% year over year to 661.8 million, quarterly paying users were 64.6 million, up 32.2% year over year. Paying user ratio was 9.8% compared with 8.2% for the first quarter of 2024. Expanding gaming portfolio benefits Garena. In April, Sea published Delta Force Mobile, a first-person tactical shooting game, across markets in Southeast Asia, MENA, and Latin America that attracted more than 10 million downloads. The launch of Free City is also noteworthy. The company remains on track to achieve double-digit growth for Garena's user base and bookings in 2025. The Case for TTWO Stock In fourth-quarter fiscal 2025, Take-Two Interactive's NBA 2K25 posted a near-record performance and exceeded the company's forecast. To date, the title has sold nearly 10 million units, a 7% increase compared to NBA 2K24 during the same timeframe. The Grand Theft Auto series exceeded the company's expectations, and at the end of the fiscal fourth quarter, GTA V had sold in more than 215 million units. Red Dead Redemption 2 also outperformed, with net bookings growing 23% year over year. However, Take-Two Interactive's reliance on a few franchises is a headwind. The much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, originally expected to drive fiscal 2026 performance, has been pushed to May 26, 2026, falling into fiscal 2027. This delay represents a critical blow to near-term revenue expectations and highlights the company's inability to maintain consistent release schedules. TTWO's fiscal 2026 guidance of $5.9-$6 billion in net bookings represents a modest 5% growth. Take-Two Interactive's decelerating growth trajectory, combined with increasing cost pressures, makes the stock risky for investors. The company's guidance indicates that recurrent consumer spending will remain flat in fiscal 2026. Mobile revenues are expected to decline, along with Grand Theft Auto Online 's performance. Operating expenses have surged, with TTWO reporting a 3% year-over-year increase in fiscal 2026 expectations, primarily driven by higher marketing costs. TTWO's development costs continue escalating, with capital expenditures of approximately $140 million planned for fiscal 2026. Price Performance and Valuation of SE and TTWO In the year-to-date period, Sea Limited shares have surged 46.8%, outperforming Take-Two Interactive, which has appreciated 31.2%. Stock Performance: SE vs. TTWO Valuation-wise, both SE and TTWO shares are currently overvalued, as suggested by a Value Score of D and F, respectively. Valuation: SE vs. TTWO In terms of forward 12-month Price/Sales, Sea Limited shares are trading at 3.78X, lower than Take-Two Interactive's 6.22X. How Do Earnings Estimates Compare for SE and TTWO? The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Sea Limited's 2025 earnings is pegged at $2.68 per share, unchanged over the past 30 days. This indicates a 41.8% increase year over year. The consensus mark for Take-Two Interactive's fiscal 2026 earnings is pegged at $2.93 per share, which has declined 10.4% over the past 30 days. The figure indicates a whopping 42.93% jump year over year. SE Edges Past TTWO on Diversified Business Model Although Take-Two Interactive boasts of a greater number of well-known gaming franchises, Sea Limited rides on Free Fire's popularity, as well as growing Shopee (e-commerce) and Monee (fintech) businesses. Shopee's growing footprint in Asia and Brazil, as well as Monee's expansion into Brazil, one of South America's most underserved credit markets, signals a strategic pivot toward sustainable growth. Sea Limited currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), which makes it a stronger pick compared with Take-Two Interactive, which has a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell). Nine games loved by millions made FREE before they disappear from download – last chance to claim them

VIDEOGAME maker Sega will soon pull nine beloved retro games from app stores, according to reports. But not before making them completely free. 6 6 6 The Japanese company has revealed it is ending support for the titles, which were ported to iOS and Android several years ago. Before they disappear, Sega has made them free to download and has removed all in-app purchases, according to Android Authority. The games will still be playable after Sega ends its support - so you might want to go download them before they vanish from app stores. They work offline too, so you don't even need to be attached to Wi-Fi. Here's all the games that are affected: There doesn't appear to be an official announcement from Sega; however, the prices have already been removed on both the Apple and Android app stores. An in-game pop-up says: "Support for this game will be discontinued, but you can continue playing offline!" These games were part of the Sega Forever programme, which made classic retro games available on modern platforms. Sega reportedly already delisted other titles included in Sega Forever, including Altered Beast Classic and The Revenge of Shinobi Classic, from app stores in 2023. There doesn't appear to be an official deadline for their removal from app stores. So you should install them now while you have the chance. "Love me some retro action…. Or as I like to call them, 'games from my youth'," one person wrote on X. Another added: "Free is free! And some real classics in there." While a third person wrote: "Bro why is this not always the way. Literally every closed 'eshop' should just go out like this when they do (but they shouldn't)." 6 6 6

Enter the Gungeon is dodge rolling onto Android, with online co-op and exclusive content

TL;DR Bullet hell titles Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon are coming to Android. Enter the Gungeon adds online co-op and exclusive new content. Release is expected later in the summer, but you can pre-register now. Fans of ultra-challenging bullet hell games are in for a treat, because Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon are officially coming to Android and iOS. The gun-tastic ports will feature the original games in full, plus a few new features that aren't available on any other platform. In case you haven't heard of it, Enter the Gungeon is a top-down roguelike bullet hell game where you dodge-roll your way through punishing dungeons. It took the world by storm when it launched in 2016, and it's remained a popular title ever since. It launched on Android and iOS in China late last year, but it will now be available globally on mobile for the first time. The ports will have exclusive content and online co-op for the first time. It will be a paid title with the full game available, although you'll have to play the game to discover and unlock every character and weapon. There are nine characters (called Gungeoneers) and 243 guns in total, including some wacky options like a bullet that shoots spinning guns that shoot bullets. The mobile ports will also add touch controls and online co-op play, neither of which are available on other platforms. They will also feature Cult of the Lamp crossover content, which was previously only available on the Chinese mobile port. Exit the Gungeon is the sequel to the original game, and it launched in 2019 as an Apple Arcade exclusive. It carries over some of the roguelike bullet hell elements of the first game but adapts them to 2D platformer-style gameplay. It launched on PC, Mac, and consoles in 2020 but never managed to make as much of a splash as its predecessor. Both Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon are now available for pre-order on Android and iOS. The games are slated for launch later this summer, although pricing and exact dates have yet to be announced. Got a tip? Talk to us! Email our staff at Email our staff at news@ . These retro SEGA games are now free on Android until they disappear forever

Nick Fernandez / Android Authority TL;DR Nine retro SEGA games ported to mobile are now free without ads, but will lose support soon. You can still download them, and they will likely remain in your account forever. Free games include Crazy Taxi Classic, Shining Force Classics, Streets of Rage 2 Classic, and more. SEGA has a long history of supporting its retro titles, with many ported directly to Android and iOS as part of the SEGA Forever program. However, the company will soon pull support for nearly its entire remaining catalog of mobile ports, including classic Sonic, Crazy Taxi, and Shining Force games. There's no telling how long they will remain on the Google Play Store, but the good news is that they've all been made free. Previously, most were paid titles costing roughly $2, or were playable for free with IAP to remove ads. The announcement came not via any official channels, but rather via an in-game popup in the affected titles. It reads: 'Support for this game will be discontinued, but you can continue playing offline! If you'd like to learn more about great SEGA games to play, please click the link below.' The link leads to the SEGA homepage. This message implies that the game will still be playable after it's removed from the Play Store, provided you have claimed it on your account. This was the case for previous SEGA Forever titles that were pulled a few years ago, which included games like Phantasy Star Classics and Vectorman Classic. Unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before the rest of these games lost support. The SEGA Forever program was discontinued in late 2023, and the last port was added to Android way back in 2019. While the ports didn't always live up to emulation, they did have full controller support, with many getting tens of millions of downloads. Got a tip? Talk to us!
