Disney to Put Comics on Webtoon's Platform
Webtoon WBTN 2.41%increase; green up pointing triangle Entertainment reached a deal to put Disney's DIS 1.04%increase; green up pointing triangle iconic comic brands on its platform, sending its shares surging after hours.
The online-comic platform said Tuesday that the team-up will see comics from the Disney, Marvel, 20th Century Studios, and Star Wars brands coming to Webtoon's mobile vertical-scroll format.
