Turkey Keeps Year-End Inflation Forecast Unchanged at 24%

The monetary authority still expects inflation to slow to 24% by year-end, the same as in its previous quarterly presentation in May, Governor Fatih Karahan said on Thursday. The projections serve as short-term targets for policymakers, whose official longer-term goal is to bring price gains down to 5%. For 2026, the bank's forecast was raised to 16% from 12%.
