Zawe Ashton and fiancé Tom Hiddleston expecting second child, Entertainment News

Zawe Ashton is expecting her second child with fiance Tom Hiddleston. The 40-year-old actress shared the news with Vogue on Saturday (June 7), alongside a maternity photo shoot in which she appears in a pale blue Emilia Wickstead gown with a matching cape. Zawe confirmed she would debut her baby bump later this weekend at the SXSW festival, saying of her red-carpet look: "I feel really lucky to be working with someone that I know and who's been such a champion of me at this sensitive red-carpet dressing moment. "I feel like I'll be very held on an evening where, as an expectant mother, you can feel a little bit exposed." Zawe and Tom, who have been engaged since 2022, welcomed their first child together later that same year. She and the 44-year-old have not publicly disclosed their child's name or gender. Zawe, who has been a long-time admirer of Wickstead's work, also told Vogue: "We met years ago at the British Fashion Awards when she dressed me and we attended together. "We had the most fabulous night and instantly felt like kindred spirits. We aligned so much on fashion and womanhood, and I've always loved her designs. They embody a seamless blend of classic and contemporary, and she's also just an incredible craftsperson. "You feel the level of detail that goes into every piece when you wear them." [[nid:700641]] Wickstead, 42, who designed the maternity gown Ashton will wear at SXSW, described the commission as "especially meaningful and full circle". "Zawe wore a soft pink gown from us during her last pregnancy - quietly glowing, with a little secret only she knew," Wickstead said. She added: "Now, to celebrate her second in this beautiful blue from our pre-fall collection, and to share it with the world, feels like a sweet continuation of that story. I'm so honoured to be part of it. "Zawe is also such a vibrant, clever and special friend and muse of the brand - she's been wearing Emilia Wickstead for years, and I love being part of her journey." A source told Us Weekly following the birth of Zawe and Tom's first child they are "loving being new parents and are filled with joy". They added the pair "have been having the struggles of new parents and aren't sleeping much but are thrilled". Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast in November 2023, Tom said fatherhood had changed his outlook on life. He added: "I think I probably knew it would, but I could never have imagined how deeply it would until it happened," he said. "And yeah, it's before and after."

Miley Cyrus reveals latest tattoo is tribute to her mum Tish

Miley Cyrus has revealed her latest tattoo is a tribute to her mother Tish Cyrus. The 32-year-old singer who has a range of body art has had the word 'muse' inked on her shoulder after describing her mum in the same way during an appearance at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Women's Luncheon in New York City. She was attending the event, held at the Greenwich Hotel Courtyard on 6 June, to celebrate the Through Her Lens programme. Speaking to People, Miley said about her new tattoo: 'It says 'muse'. And it's really for her, because my mom is my muse.' She added: 'My mom was going to get matching with me, but she was out of town.' Miley debuted the dainty new shoulder tattoo – inked by artist Michelle Santana at Bang Bang Tattoo – before the event via Instagram. The tattoo adds to her extensive collection of body art, which she recently spoke about in an interview with the New York Times, expressing mixed feelings about some of her older designs. 'A mistake that I made that I still think about is like 80 percent of my tattoos,' she said. Miley added: 'I don't regret them enough to laser them, but some of them, like... I mean I love my cat, but like, I didn't need that... there's just a few I could do without.' Miley's 'muse' tribute comes shortly after speculation circulated about a falling-out between her and Tish, 58, when it appeared the singer's mum had unfollowed her daughter on social media. Miley addressed the rumours in a statement on her Instagram Stories in May. 'I rarely comment on rumours, but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us,' she wrote. Miley added: 'She's my best friend. Like a lot of moms, she doesn't know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me — simple, coincidental, and uninteresting.' Tish later confirmed to People the unfollow was accidental, saying she had 'no idea how that happened' and had since corrected it. Reflecting on her priorities, Miley said: 'Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.' Miley also spoke about her upcoming visual album, Something Beautiful, which is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month. The project traces different periods of her life through film. Asked whether she viewed her life in eras, Miley told People: 'I don't see anything, I feel like, with a divide. 'I do love this flow of whatever is real in the moment totally is valuable and exists and that's what the movie is a celebration of is that everything gets to coexist in not a way that's lost but actually found.'

Bill Belichick girlfriend Jordon Hudson isn't 'allowed' at UNC football facilities: Report The Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson situation that escalated when she interrupted his CBS interview has now reached a tipping point. Why American tourists are flocking to Bath

Though Jane Austen was sometimes critical of the social scene in Bath, the city was undoubtedly her muse. In 2025, if you're a 'Janeite', Bath is absolutely the place to be. The New York Times recently declared Austen's England the number one destination to visit in the world during the 250th anniversary of the author's birth, with events being held in locations connected to her. Events like those in Bath this spring, which saw me pulling satin gloves up to my elbows to try Regency-period dancing. Skipping about in a cotillion was not something I'd done before. Yet my tour group was in hysterics as we curtseyed, spun each other around and cantered back to take our places, occasionally tripping over each other's feet. It was an international group, arranged through Strictly Jane Austen Tours, and half the visitors were Americans. Some people, like me, had hired demure, empire-line dresses for the occasion. Others had made their own costumes, buying patterns from Etsy and sewing lace and ribbons onto bonnets. Some of the Americans were members of JASNA, the Jane Austen Society of North America, a collective of thousands of fans. Many of them dream about making the pilgrimage across the Atlantic to places associated with Austen. JASNA's president Mary Mintz said members were always made to feel welcome here. 'Regency-era England is a fascinating historical period,' she added, 'because of the architecture, politics, culture, fashions and so much more.' 'Americans love British heritage in all its forms,' explained Fred Mawer, Telegraph Travel 's Bath expert, who also runs Austen and Bridgerton tours of Bath. 'They don't have anything like it.' Any visitor to Bath can try a quadrille or a waltz with the Jane Austen Dancers, in a class that takes place every Wednesday. Many of the dances we tried were depicted in Austen film adaptations, such as 1995's Pride and Prejudice. The Alderman's Hat was like a parlour game, where the men pretended to chase partners who had stolen their hat. In another, we were encouraged to 'present' to dancers who were not our partners – cue more laughter and suggestive eyebrows. We learnt, over afternoon tea at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel, how to hold our fans in different ways to signal interest to potential suitors. The Jane Austen Dancers host hen parties too. The hen's period drama of choice may be more likely to be the historically fanciful Bridgerton, streamed on Netflix. ' Bridgerton delivers heritage in a bold, larger than life way,' explained Blue Badge guide Mawer. 'It's incredibly digestible even though most of it is completely fabricated.' The show, partly filmed in Bath, is credited with bringing a new crowd of tourists to the city. Shelia Porter, from South Carolina, has read Austen countless times but agreed that Bridgerton was now also extremely popular in the US. 'People are having Bridgerton birthday parties,' she said, 'you didn't used to see any Austen parties. People just love the costumes, they're not too hard to make or wear. It makes the whole thing very accessible.' Those who had dressed up in our Austen tour group were treated like celebrities while visiting sights such as Bath's abbey and the museum at No. 1 Royal Crescent. Some were surprised that there was nowhere local to buy lace gloves and reticules (embroidered purses). 'We need the fun of simply dressing up in this day and age,' said Sylvia Spilsbury, as she helped me choose a shawl for my gown from her costume hire company Bath Theatrical. Michelle, from Nevada, enjoyed donning bonnets and dresses with other friends on the tour. 'Although I went to Marks and Spencer by myself and started to feel people's eyes on me,' she laughed. 'I was glad when I met up with my friend again.' The six-day tour with Strictly Jane Austen included talks from historians and authors. Our group tasted Bath's hot spring water at the Pump Rooms and soaked in the spring-fed spa at the Gainsborough. Olivia Casey is 20 and travelled to Bath from West Virginia with her mum. 'It was absolutely worth it,' she said. 'I'm a romantic. I sent my friends photos of the Royal Crescent and they got so mad.' Her friends are Bridgerton fanatics. 'For the men,' she laughs. 'The men and the scenery.' Our guide for the day, Theresa Roche, perked up. 'Eyeing up young men was exactly what Catherine and Isabella did in Bath in Northanger Abbey,' she said. 'They went to see the visitors book outside the Pump Rooms. It was the dating app of its day because you wrote in it whether you were a bachelor or a widower. 'In the novel, Austen writes: 'while Isabella examined the names, it was Catherine's employment to watch the proceedings of these alarming young men.'' If Bath's visitor's book was the equivalent of Georgian Tinder, 'the Assembly Rooms were the Georgians' nightclub', said Fred Mawer. Ornate chandeliers hang from the ceilings and a ball is described here in Northanger Abbey. Two of Bridgerton's balls were also filmed inside (though the exteriors were shot at Bath's Holburne Museum). 'Bath is a good place for location scouts,' said Fred, 'it's beautiful and compact, which helps with logistics. The council also doesn't charge film crews huge amounts of money as it hopes to benefit from the tourism that set-jetting brings.' Visit West says Bridgerton contributed more than £5 million to the local economy from British and international visitors in 2023, a figure that can only have increased last year. Within Bath, Bridgerton has created a new micro-tourism industry. If you're not into Austen or Bridgerton, you'll still enjoy the elegance of Bath's Unesco-preserved streets and crescents, its artisan shops and restaurants using local produce. In fact, part of what Unesco thinks is special about Bath – its views of green hills – are not visible in Bridgerton. The surrounding greenery is airbrushed out to make the city appear more like Mayfair. 'I would still enjoy Bath even if there were no period dramas,' admitted Michelle from Nevada. Interest in Bath's Regency period is likely to continue while the National Trust updates the Assembly Rooms. New interactive exhibits, filled with facts about those who attended Regency balls, will go some way towards winning the stage back from Bridgerton fiction. This is a city that falls in and out of fashion but its stories of Georgian life endure. Natalie Paris travelled as a guest of Strictly Jane Austen Tours, which offers a six-day autumn Austen celebration from £2,200, staying at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel.
