Jenna Bush Hager Reveals Plans To Move Back to Home State of Texas—as She Opens Up About Life After ‘Today' Show
"Today" show star Jenna Bush Hager has only been a full-time host on the hit morning program for six years, yet she's already busy looking ahead to her "next chapter"—which she believes could well see her closing the book on life on the East Coast in favor of a return to her home state of Texas. The 43-year-old mother of three spoke out about her plans for life after her run on "Today" ends, admitting that it is her "dream" to move back to the Lone Star State, where she lived for many years—even while her father, George W. Bush, served as the 43rd president. Jenna, who attended the University of Texas in Austin during her father's first White House term, moved to New York City in 2010 in order to be closer to her twin sister, Barbara Bush, who was already living in the Big Apple. Then, in 2022, she and her husband, Henry Hager, swapped city life for a suburban property in Connecticut, where they have lived with their three children—Mila, 12, Poppy, 9, and Hal, 6—ever since. Yet Jenna is already eyeing up her next move—explaining during a recent episode of "Today with Jenna & Friends" that she has a "dream" of relocating to Texas in a bid to give her children a more normal life. "I have this sort of dream—I just think everybody should have chapters in their lives ... I have a dream [and] I don't know how realistic it is, but when the 'Jenna & Friends' chapter comes to a close…" she began, prompting her guest host, Matt Rogers, to question why "that would ever happen." "Well ... linear television, baby!" Jenna responded, before continuing: "Who knows? But when I'm ready to go to my next chapter, I think it would be so nice to move back to Texas and let my kids—I went to a big public high school—have a different life." The on-air host, who took over the fourth hour of "Today" when her former co-anchor, Hoda Kotb, stepped down from her decadeslong role at NBC in January, noted that she has a particular fondness for the city of Austin, where she and her sister lived while her father served as the governor of Texas from 1995 until 2000. "Isn't Austin great? I love Austin," Jenna confessed. Of course, Jenna would need to convince her husband, Henry, who hails from Virginia, that a move to Texas is in the best interests for their family—particularly given that the couple has never actually lived in the state together. The pair met back in 2004, when Henry was working for Jenna's father, and he popped the question to her three years later—after asking George for permission. "He called my dad. He's like, 'I'd like to come speak to you.' [My dad is] like, 'I'm taking a nap. Come in a couple hours,'" Jenna recalled on the "Today" show. "So [Henry] had to sit and stew." The couple wed at Jenna's family's ranch in Crawford, TX, and then moved to Baltimore, where the former first daughter was working as a teacher, while Henry had a role with an energy company. Soon after Jenna began contributing to the "Today" show in 2009, the couple made a move to New York, where they lived for many years, welcoming their first child, daughter Mila, in 2013. For many years, the couple were neighbors with Jenna's on-screen co-star, Savannah Guthrie, before they made the decision to move to Connecticut—putting their Tribeca condo on the market for $5.4 million in 2022. The property sold in October of that year for the much lower price of $4.9 million. Jenna and Henry moved into a stunning six-bedroom property in Fairfield County; however, they have worked hard to keep details of the home's location under wraps. Before moving out to Connecticut, the couple also owned a weekend house in Long Island, where they would base themselves during the summer, with Jenna making the commute into the city for her filming obligations as needed. Speaking about their decision to purchase the home, Jenna admitted that she fell in love with the dwelling because it reminded her of Texas, telling Veranda magazine in 2019: "There was something about it that reminded me of Texas, of being outside. "Even this close to the city, there was a remoteness to it." Solve the daily Crossword

Jenna Bush Hager details 'next chapter' after time on Today show 'comes to a close'
has been a staple on the Today show for over 15 years, but just months after Hoda Kotb left the show, the star confessed that she has been thinking about her 'next chapter.' The Today with Jenna & Friends host, 43, opened up about what she plans to do whenever her time on the morning show 'comes to a close' during Wednesday's episode. The acclaimed anchor confessed that she has a 'dream' of leaving New York and moving back to Austin, Texas, where she grew up, with her husband, Henry Hager, and three kids after she leaves Today. And while she didn't specify when that would be, she hinted that it may be sooner than later since she said she wanted her children Mila, 12, Poppy, nine, and Hal, six, to go to a 'big public high school' like she did as a kid - and her eldest is just a few years away from starting high school. 'I think everybody should have chapters in their lives. I have a dream - I don't know how realistic it is - but when the Jenna & Friends chapter comes to a close…' she said before an alarmed co-host Matt Rogers cut her off. 'Well why would that ever happen?' he asked. 'Well... linear television, baby! Who knows?' Jenna responded with a laugh. 'But when I'm ready to go to my next chapter, I think it would be so nice to move back to Texas and let my kids - I went to a big public high school - have a different life.' She opened up about what she plans to do whenever her time on the morning show 'comes to a close,' and said she wants to move back to Austin, Texas, where she grew up Jenna joined the Today show back in 2009 and began co-hosting Today with Hoda & Jenna in 2019. It was renamed earlier this year following Hoda's departure. Hoda, who was part of NBC News for 26 years, stepped down in order to spend more time with her young daughters, Haley Joy, eight, and Hope Catherine, five, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman. She has been keeping busy since leaving the show, and recently launched her own wellness company Joy 101. Jenna's shocking admission comes weeks after she was called out for seemingly body shaming a dad on the show. The 43-year-old mom-of-three was discussing men wearing Speedos with her co-host Dwyane Wade after a New York City-based dad named Tyler Moore went viral for wanting to normalize dads wearing the swim shorts. During the segment, Jenna voiced her distain for the revealing swimwear. 'If my husband brought out a Speedo, I'd be shocked,' she said. 'And by the way, a man thigh?' Dwyane then quipped: 'Yeah, a hairy man thigh, nobody wants to see that.' Before the segment moved on, a photo of Tyler and his children popped up on screen which led to Jenna commenting: 'And I would just say, not every dad looks like that model dad that we just put on TV.' Following the episode, Tyler hit out at the remarks and said that it was 'surreal' to have his 'body publicly discussed and shamed on national television.' Taking to threads, he wrote: 'Last week, my decision to wear a Speedo while lap swimming and open water swimming was discussed on The Today Show. 'During the segment, Jenna Bush Hager commented, "No one wants to see hairy man thighs," and followed up by saying, "Not every dad looks like that model dad," referring to a photo of me in the suit. 'It's a surreal experience to have your body publicly discussed and shamed on national television.' Tyler's comments were part of a larger post about body shaming, in which he urged the media and others to stop commenting on women's bodies. 'Seeing women tearing other women down over gaining or losing weight is insane to me,' he wrote. 'Seeing men even having an opinion on this is even more insane to me. 'Is being taught if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all a thing of the past? SMH. 'Nobody wants to hear your thoughts on their body, so let's please try to make this world a *sliver* of a better place by not tearing down someone you may or may not know.'

Katie Price shares her motherly pride as she reveals son Harvey has finished college - after her daughter Princess moved out
Katie Price has revealed her son Harvey has finished college as she shared a gushing post. The former glamour model, 47, took to Instagram on Saturday night to share her pride with a sweet photo of her and Harvey. Announcing Harvey had officially completed school, Katie went on to tease that he has plans for the 'next chapter'. 'College done ✅ so proud of my boy. Onto the next chapter xx,' Katie wrote. Pals of Katie were quick to congratulate Harvey, with Ru Paul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage commenting: 'CONGRATS HARV!!!!' Meanwhile Jedward said: 'Wow congratulations Harvey you should be so proud.' It comes after Katie revealed her daughter Princess has moved out of her home. The 18-year-old, who she shares with ex Peter Andre, has embarked on her own career, with Princess currently filming her very own reality show. And speaking to sister Sophie on the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, Katie told how her eldest daughter is no longer living with her due to filming her ITV programme - which Katie is not allowed to appear on. But as she discussed the situation, the former glamour model, 47 - who was recently banned from her girl's 18th birthday - couldn't help but make a dig at Peter and his management company, Can Associates, who are making the show. She told Sophie: 'Princess was living with me but because she's doing her documentary, and I'm not even allowed to breathe near the documentary, she has been predominantly staying at her dads while she is filming.' The subject came up as Katie spoke about her hunt for a new home amid the sale of her £5k-a-month rental property, with Sophie suggesting that Katie only needs a three-bed home for her and her youngest children, with a sofa bed for when the other kids visit. However, Katie was quick to insist that Princess would soon be back, while also noting that second eldest son Junior and his girlfriend Jasmine may move back in too as they do not like renting. She shared: 'It's's only because she has been filming that she has been at Pete's because obviously I'm not allowed anywhere near it. She has only got about two weeks left of filming.' She added: 'I'm that kind of mum where I have to make sure my kids have bedrooms if they want it, you never know do you.' Katie's words comes just weeks after she blasted Peter's management, The Can Group, after she was banned from their daughter Princess' 18th birthday. The TV personality went on a rant about the awkward snub with her sister Sophie in a recent episode of the podcast. MailOnline's Katie Hind revealed Katie was unable to attend Princess' celebrations because the event was being filmed for her forthcoming fly-on-the-wall ITV television series - which Katie has been banned from appearing on. In the episode, Katie said: 'Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me.' Sophie said: 'I noticed in her 18th birthday pictures she was wearing the shoes you bought her for Christmas.' 'Oh did she? I love that', said Katie. Katie added: 'Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.' Her sister said: 'You aren't on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that's why. Katie added: 'It's pathetic. I'm her mother. It's so sad. When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after...' Her sister Sophie then urged Katie to 'save it for another day.' Katie was allegedly referring to her old PR team, who now manage her ex husband Peter, 52, and their children Junior and Princess.

Katie Price reveals Harvey has left college as she shares update on son's ‘next chapter'
KATIE Price has revealed Harvey has left college as she shared an update on his 'next chapter'. Page 3 legend Katie, 47, gushed over her eldest son in an Instagram update shared yesterday. 4 4 Posing alongside the 23-year-old, whose father is footballer Dwight Yorke, in a van, she wrote: "College done. So proud of my boy. Onto the next chapter xx." In the image, Katie pouted for the camera and wore a full face of make-up. Harvey, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, autism, and learning difficulties, looked delighted to be heading home, wearing a green shirt. It was only back in June that Katie revealed she had sent him back to college early after he caused damage to her TV. The mum-of-five revealed her shock at discovering that Harvey had become frustrated and smashed up her huge £3,000 television in the living room of her property. Katie documented the discovery on her Snapchat account before giving Harvey a dressing down for his actions and also confirming that she would be returning him to his college a day early as a result of his behaviour. The former glamour model uploaded a video in which she filmed Harvey's face and questioned him on his actions. She revealed she was woken up by him smashing the TV at around six in the morning. She asked him: "What has mummy just heard?" Harvey calmly replied: "Smashing the TV." Katie Price reveals son Harvey now weighs 30st as she gives update on his fat jabs and says 'I can't wait to see what he looks like' When she went on to ask him why he did it, Harvey appeared to answer that it had angered him as it was early in the morning. Katie later told her fans that he told her off-camera that he did not like what was on the screen but she appeared to rebuff this suggestions as she could be sure that there was nothing being shown. In the clip of her speaking to Harvey, she added: "You was going to college tomorrow to get some new meds [medication], but now when are you going? "You are going now." Harvey replied to this news by saying: "Oh god!" Katie insisted she had to spend the day getting a new TV and as such needed to send Harvey back to college before branding the whole ordeal as "sad". Harvey went on to apologise as he insisted he "would not do it again". Katie replied: "Well you've got to go to collage now and get some meds." Her decision for Harvey to go back to collage comes after she revealed that her 22-year-old son was due to start weight loss injections in order to control his ballooning weight. Harvey weight around 30st as a result of his many complex needs, including Prader-Willi syndrome, but Katie hopes the use of weight-loss drug Mounjaro will keep it under control. Speaking on her podcast with sister and co-host Sophie Price, Katie said: "Hopefully Harvey starts his Mounjaro this week, but we'll talk about that next week and I'll go through all of what's happening about that." The TV personality's eldest child has Prader-Willi syndrome, which sparks a constant desire to eat food and a permanent feeling of hunger which leads to obesity. Harvey battles a series of debilitating conditions including autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder. In a video posted in April, Katie revealed: 'I'm so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up. 'I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone. 'It's so life-threatening now, I'm still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.' She continued: 'It's so sad his quality of life at the moment where he's so big, he just can't really do much." Katie is also mum to Junior and Princess Andre as well as Jett and Bunny Hayler.
